Description
ヒートボディ亜麻仁油マクロ開始剤の合成。ヒートボディ亜麻仁油(20g)(OKO M25、ADM Red Wing MN)を、100mL丸底フラスコ中で酢酸(37mL)(Aldrich)およびトルエン(20mL)(Fisher)中の33%臭化水素酸と混合した。混合物を、磁気撹拌子および撹拌プレートを用いて室温、窒素雰囲気下で18時間撹拌して、ヒートボディ亜麻仁油をハロゲン化した。ハロゲン化後、混合物を水で3回洗浄し、トルエンをロータリーエバポレーターにより除去した。得られた臭素化油を1H−NMRにより評価した結果、トリグリセリド繰り返し単位当たり1.32個の臭素を含んでいた。
硬質でガラス質のポリマーを形成するためにポリマー油マクロ開始剤を使用するスチレン/ポリマー油コポリマーの原子移動ラジカル重合合成。種々の比のハロゲン化ポリマー油(重合亜麻仁油)マクロ開始剤、スチレン、塩化銅(I)、金属銅、ペンタメチルジエチレントリアミンを100mLシュレンクフラスコ中でトルエン20mLと混合した(表2.1)。反応混合物にハロゲン開始剤は添加しなかった。反応混合物に凍結/ポンプ/解凍サイクルを3回行って、酸素を除去した(液体窒素で凍結し、133.322パスカル(1トール(torr))に減圧し、ストップコックで密封し、解凍させた)。次いで、フラスコに、バブラーを備えた窒素ラインを通して窒素を流した。各反応混合物を、撹拌プレート上で磁気撹拌子を用いて撹拌し、110°Cで16時間加熱して、原子移動ラジカル重合を行った。反応後、生成混合物を撹拌中のメタノールに注いで、得られるポリマーを析出させ、ポリマーをろ過により回収した。次いで、固体ポリマーを塩化メチレンに再溶解し、ろ過して銅を除去した。次いで、ろ液を撹拌中のメタノールに注いでポリマーを析出させた。ポリマーをろ過により回収し、真空下で乾燥した。
マクロ開始剤の合成、および熱可塑性クラムラバーおよび熱硬化性ポリマーを形成するためにポリマー油マクロ開始剤を使用するスチレン/ポリマー油コポリマーの原子移動ラジカル重合合成。ヒートボディ亜麻仁油(OKO M37(商標)、20g)は、酢酸(37mL)および100mLトルエン中の33%臭化水素酸0.8mLを使用した以外は実質的に実施例1に記載の条件で臭素化した。混合物を窒素雰囲気下で2時間還流、撹拌し、次いで、水で3回洗浄し、トルエンをロータリーエバポレーターにより除去した。得られた臭素化油を、1H−NMRにより評価した結果、トリグリセリド繰り返し単位当たり0.35個の臭素を含んでいた(1H-NMRによる)。
マクロ開始剤の合成、および粘着性熱可塑性エラストマーを形成するためにポリマー油マクロ開始剤を使用するスチレン/ポリマー油コポリマーの原子移動ラジカル重合合成。酢酸(37mL)および100mLトルエン中の33%臭化水素酸0.35mLを、磁気撹拌子および撹拌プレートを用いて窒素雰囲気下、250mL丸底フラスコ中で2時間還流した以外は、実質的に実施例1に記載の条件で、ヒートボディ亜麻仁油(OKO M37(商標)、20g)を臭素化した。次いで、混合物を水で3回洗浄し、トルエンをロータリーエバポレーターにより除去した。得られた臭素化油を1H−NMRで評価した結果、トリグリセリド繰り返し単位当たり0.1個の臭素を含んでいた。
Claims (14)
- ハロゲン化ヒートボディオイル、ハロゲン化吹込油、ハロゲン化水素化ヒートボディオイル、ハロゲン化水素化吹込油、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のハロゲン化ポリマー油を含み、前記ポリマー油が、少なくとも1種の再生可能資源由来油または脂肪を含む、重合マクロ開始剤。
- 前記ポリマー油が、藻類油、動物油、牛脂、ボルネオ獣脂、バター脂、カメリナ油、銀鱈油、キャノーラ油、ひまし油、カカオ脂、カカオ脂代替物、やし油、タラ肝油、ナタネ油、コリアンダー油、とうもろこし油、綿実油、アマナズナ油、フラックスシードオイル、廃水処理施設からの浮遊グリース、ヘーゼルナッツ油、麻実油、にしん油、イリッペ脂、ジャトロファ油、コクムバター、ラノリン、ラード、亜麻仁油、マンゴ核油、魚油、メドウホーム油、メンハーデン油、微生物油、乳脂肪、モーラ脂肪、カラシ油、羊脂、牛脚油、オイチシカ油、オリーブ油、オレンジラフィー油、パーム油、パーム核油、パーム核オレイン、パーム核ステアリン、パームオレイン、パームステアリン、ピーナッツ油、フルワラバター、パイルハードオイル、植物油、豚肉ラード、ラディッシュ油、ニガー油、菜種油、米ぬか油、サフラワー油、サル油、アッケシソウ油、イワシ油、サザンカ油、ゴマ油、シア脂肪、シアバター、単細胞油、大豆油、ひまわり種子油、トール油、獣脂、タイガーナッツ油、つばき油、きり油、トリアシルグリセロール、トリオレイン、使用済み食用油、植物油、クルミ油、鯨油、ホワイトグリース、イエローグリース、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される再生可能資源由来の脂肪または油から製造される、請求項1に記載の重合マクロ開始剤。
- 前記ポリマー油が、共役リノール酸、ルーメン酸(9−cis、11−trans−オクタデカジエン酸)、10−trans、12−trans−オクタデカジエン酸、10−trans、12−cis−オクタデカジエン酸、共役リノレン酸、α−エレオステアリン酸(9−cis、11−trans、13−transオクタデカトリエン酸)、β−エレオステアリン酸(9−trans、11−trans、13−transオクタデカトリエン酸)、ルメレン酸(9−cis、11−trans、15−cis−オクタデカトリエン酸)、プニカ酸(9−cis、11−trans、13−cis−オクタデカトリエン酸)、カタルプ酸(9−trans、11−trans、13−cis−オクタデカトリエン酸)、α−カレンジン酸(8−trans、10−trans、12−cisオクタデカトリエン酸)、β−カレンジン酸(8−trans、10−trans、12−transオクタデカトリエン酸)、ジャカル酸(8−cis、10−trans、12−cisオクタデカトリエン酸)、テトラエン酸、α−パリナリン酸(9−trans、11−cis、13−cis、15−trans−オクタデカテトラエン酸)、β−パリナリン酸(9−trans、11−trans、13−trans、15−trans−オクタデカテトラエン酸)、リソビウム細菌からの2−trans、4−trans、6−trans、11−cisオクタデカテトラエン酸、ペンタエン酸、ボセオペンタエン酸(5−cis、8−cis、10−trans、12−trans、14−cis−ペンタエン酸)、ヘキサエン酸、海藻からの4−cis、7−cis、9−trans、13−cis、16−cis、19−cisドコサヘキサエン酸、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される1種または複数の共役脂肪酸を含む、再生可能資源由来の脂肪または油から製造される、請求項1に記載の重合マクロ開始剤。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の重合マクロ開始剤から製造されるポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、原子移動ラジカル重合により形成される、請求項4に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、硬質でガラス質のポリマーを含む、請求項4に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、熱可塑性エラストマーを含む、請求項4に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーが、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、t−ブチルスチレン、ビニル基、ビニルキシレン、ビニルナフタレン、ビニルピリジン、ジビニルベンゼン、アクリル酸メチル、C1−C6(メタ)アクリレート、メチルメタクリレート、エチルメタクリレート、プロピル(メタ)アクリレート、ブチル(メタ)アクリレート、ヘプチル(メタ)アクリレート、ヘキシル(メタ)アクリレート)、アクリロニトリル、アジポニトリル、メタクリロニトリル、ブタジエン、イソプレン、ビニル芳香族モノマー、ポリスチレンホモポリマー、ジオレフィン、ニトリル、ジニトリル、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択されるモノマーから製造される少なくとも1つのAブロックを含む、請求項4に記載のポリマー。
- 前記ポリマーに、加硫、架橋、相溶化、1種または複数の他の材料との配合、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択される方法をさらに行う、請求項4に記載の組成物ポリマー。

- 請求項1に記載の重合マクロ開始剤の製造方法であって、
(i)少なくとも1つの二重結合を有するポリマー油を用意すること、および
前記ポリマー油の少なくとも1つの二重結合をハロゲン化すること
又は
(ii)少なくとも1つの遊離ヒドロキシル基を有するポリマー油を用意すること、および
前記ポリマー油の少なくとも1つのヒドロキシル基をハロゲン化すること
又は
(iii)ポリマー油を用意すること、および
前記ポリマー油の少なくとも1つの脂肪酸部分の少なくとも1つのα炭素をハロゲン化すること
を含む、製造方法。 - 成形プラスチック、押出プラスチック、アクリロニトリルブタジエンスチレン、ハロゲン化ポリビニル製品、ナイロン、ポリエステル、ポリプロピレンアロイ、塩素化ポリエチレン、ポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン、アクリル、およびそれらの任意の組み合わせからなる群から選択されるポリマーに組み込まれた請求項6に記載のポリマーの使用。
