Description
Claims (6)
- 回転可能な流出口を有するドレンバルブであって、
(a)当該ドレンバルブは、中空のドレン流入口を備え、
(i)前記ドレン流入口は、第1の中空本体開放端部と、第2の中空本体開放端部と、少なくとも一つの外方に延びるラグを備える外面とを有する中空本体を備え、前記第1の中空本体開放端部は、或る内径を有する中央開口部を含むフランジを有し、
(b)当該ドレンバルブは、閉鎖された第1のバルブ部材端部と、開放された第2のバルブ部材端部とを備えるバルブ部材を備え、
(i)前記閉鎖された第1のバルブ部材端部は、或る外径と、間に環状チャンネルが設けられた少なくとも二つの外方に延びる突出部を含む側壁と、前記環状チャンネルに配置された弾性リングとを有し、
(ii)前記バルブ部材は、溝を含む下面と、或る外径を有する前記開放された第2のバルブ部材端部とを備える基部を有するバルブ本体を備え、前記バルブ本体は、少なくとも一つの孔と、環状チャンネルを含む基部側壁とを含み、
前記閉鎖された第1のバルブ部材端部の前記外径は、前記開放された第2のバルブ部材端部の前記外径よりも小さく、前記フランジの前記中央開口部の前記内径に少なくとも等しく、
前記バルブ部材は、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記中空本体内に配置され、前記中空のドレン流入口内で前記第1の中空本体開放端部と前記第2の中空本体開放端部とに向かって軸線方向に移動可能であり、
(c)前記回転可能な流出口は、中空部材を備え、
(i)前記中空部材は、前記バルブ部材が前記回転可能な流出口と一体的でないように前記バルブ本体の前記基部の前記下面にある前記溝に嵌合されるように構成されたリップを備える第1の中空部材開放端部と、第2の中空部材開放端部と、前記第1の中空部材開放端部と前記第2の中空部材開放端部との間に配置され、間に環状チャンネルが設けられた少なくとも二つの外方に延びる突出部を備える外面とを有し、前記中空部材は、前記第1の中空部材開放端部と前記第2の中空部材開放端部との間に少なくとも約20度の角度をなしており、
(d)当該ドレンバルブは、回転可能な環状体を備え、
(i)前記回転可能な環状体は、前記回転可能な流出口の前記環状チャンネルに回転可能に配置された内方に突出する環状のリブを含む内面を有する側壁を有するシェル本体を備え、前記側壁は、前記ドレン流入口の前記中空本体の前記外方に延びるラグを受けるよう貫設された少なくとも一つのチャンネルを備え、前記チャンネルは、対応のチャンネル壁面と、少なくとも一つの終端部分閉鎖端部と水平軸線とを有する少なくとも一つの終端部分と、前記水平軸線から角度が付けられた傾斜部分とを有し、
前記回転可能な環状体を回転させることによって、前記中空本体の前記外方に延びるラグを、前記シェル本体の前記側壁における前記チャンネルに沿って移動させて、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第1の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記フランジの前記中央開口部を閉じて前記中央開口部を通る流体の流れを阻止する第1の位置へと軸線方向に移動することができるようにすると共に、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第2の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記中空のドレン流入口と前記回転可能な流出口とを流体が流れるようにする第2の位置に軸線方向に移動することができるようにし、
前記回転可能な流出口は、前記バルブ部材の前記第1の位置又は前記第2の位置に影響を与えることなく前記回転可能な環状体から独立して回転され得る、ドレンバルブ。 - 前記シェル本体の前記側壁における前記チャンネルの前記少なくとも一つの終端部分は、前記ラグの外径よりも狭い断面エリアを有するラグ保持部分を含み、前記ラグ保持部分は、狭い前記断面エリアを前記ラグが通過する際に抵抗を与える、請求項1に記載のドレンバルブ。
- 前記シェル本体の前記側壁における少なくとも一つの前記チャンネルは、二つの終端部分を有し、前記二つの終端部分の各々は、閉鎖端部と、水平軸線とを含み、前記水平軸線から角度が付けられた前記傾斜部分は前記二つの終端部分間に配置されており、前記二つの終端部分の各々は、前記ラグの外径よりも狭い断面エリアを有するラグ保持部分を含み、前記ラグ保持部分は、狭い前記断面エリアを前記ラグが通過する際に抵抗を与える、請求項1に記載のドレンバルブ。

- ドレンバルブを操作する方法であって、
(a)前記ドレンバルブは、中空のドレン流入口を備え、
(i)前記ドレン流入口は、第1の中空本体開放端部と、第2の中空本体開放端部と、少なくとも一つの外方に延びるラグを備える外面とを有する中空本体を備え、前記第1の中空本体開放端部は、或る内径を有する中央開口部を含むフランジを有し、
(b)前記ドレンバルブは、閉鎖された第1のバルブ部材端部と、開放された第2のバルブ部材端部とを備えるバルブ部材を備え、
(i)前記閉鎖された第1のバルブ部材端部は、或る外径と、間に環状チャンネルが設けられた少なくとも二つの外方に延びる突出部を含む側壁と、前記環状チャンネルに配置された弾性リングとを有し、
(ii)前記バルブ部材は、溝を含む下面と、或る外径を有する前記開放された第2のバルブ部材端部とを備える基部を有するバルブ本体を備え、前記バルブ本体は、少なくとも一つの孔と、環状チャンネルを含む基部側壁とを含み、

(d)前記ドレンバルブは、回転可能な環状体を備え、
(i)前記回転可能な環状体は、前記回転可能な流出口の前記環状チャンネルに回転可能に配置された内方に突出する環状のリブを含む内面を有する側壁を有するシェル本体を備え、前記側壁は、前記ドレン流入口の前記中空本体の前記外方に延びるラグを受けるよう貫設された少なくとも一つのチャンネルを備え、前記チャンネルは、対応のチャンネル壁面と、少なくとも一つの終端部分閉鎖端部と水平軸線とを有する少なくとも一つの終端部分と、前記水平軸線から角度が付けられた傾斜部分とを有し、
前記回転可能な環状体を回転させることによって、前記中空本体の前記外方に延びるラグを、前記シェル本体の前記側壁における前記チャンネルに沿って移動させて、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第1の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記フランジの前記中央開口部を閉じて前記中央開口部を通る流体の流れを阻止する第1の位置へと軸線方向に移動することができるようにすると共に、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第2の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記中空のドレン流入口と前記回転可能な流出口とを流体が流れるようにする第2の位置に軸線方向に移動することができるようにし、
前記回転可能な流出口は、前記バルブ部材の前記第1の位置又は前記第2の位置に影響を与えることなく前記回転可能な環状体から独立して回転され得るものであり、
当該方法は、前記回転可能な環状体を回転させると共に、前記中空本体の前記外方に延びるラグを、前記シェル本体の前記側壁における前記チャンネルに沿って移動させて、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第1の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記フランジの前記中央開口部を閉じて前記中央開口部を通る流体の流れを阻止する第1の位置に軸線方向に移動することができるようにし、及び/又は、前記バルブ部材が、前記中空のドレン流入口の前記第2の中空本体開放端部に向かって、前記中空のドレン流入口と前記回転可能な流出口とを流体が流れるようにする第2の位置に軸線方向に移動することができるようにすることを含み、
当該方法は、付随的に、前記回転可能な流出口を前記回転可能な環状体から独立して回転させることをさらに含む、方法。 - 流体を処理するためのシステムであって、
