Claims (1)
- 放電容器と、
所定間隔を隔て先端部を相対向させて上記放電容器内に配置された陰極と陽極とを備え、
上記陽極は、円柱状をなす胴体部と、先端面が形成されるとともに上記胴体部に連続する基端部側から上記先端面が形成された先端部に向かって外周径を徐々に縮径させた縮径部とを有し、
上記陽極は、上記胴体部側の部分と上記縮径部側の部分を接合して一体化した陽極であって、
上記陽極の縮径部には、上記陰極と上記陽極との間で発生するアーク放電により生成される光の反射を抑制する反射抑制手段が設けられており、
上記反射抑制手段は、上記光が入射する開口部側から底部側に向かって徐々に幅を小さくする溝部として形成されており、
上記溝部は、上記開口部側の開き角が底部側の開き角よりも大きく、溝部方向が、上記縮径部の外周面に垂直な方向より上記胴体部の外周面側に傾斜していることを特徴とする放電ランプ。
