当然のことながら、後述するサイクルはOPEP装置100の動作の単なる典型例であり、また多数の要因がOPEP装置100の動作に影響を与え、その結果、記載されたサイクルから逸脱することもある。しかし、OPEP装置100の動作中、制限部材130及び羽根132は、概して図15Aに示す位置と15Cに示す位置との間で往復動する。

Claims (11)
- 振動呼気陽圧装置用の圧力表示装置であって、
振動呼気陽圧装置によって支持され、該振動呼気陽圧装置に連通されて該振動呼気陽圧装置によって発生される呼気圧力の振動を受け入れる筒状の胴部と、
該胴部から側部外側に延出する導管と、
該導管に連結されて該導管によって該胴部に支持されて該振動呼気陽圧装置のそばに配置され、該胴部及び該導管を通して伝達される該呼気圧力の振動を測定して表示する圧力計と、
該導管の内部通路に設けられ該圧力計に伝達される該呼気圧力の振動を減衰するための圧力安定化オリフィスと
を備えている圧力表示装置。 - 該胴部が、両端に開口を有し、一方の開口の側から該振動呼気陽圧装置の使用者の呼気を受け入れ、他方の開口の側から該振動呼気陽圧装置によって発生された呼気圧力の振動を受け入れるようにされ、該導管が該両端の間から延出するようにされている請求項1に記載の圧力表示装置。
- 該胴部が両端に開口を有し、該両端間の該胴部内に一方向性バルブを有し、該圧力表示装置が該振動呼気陽圧装置によって支持された状態において、該振動呼気陽圧装置で発生された呼気圧力の振動を該開口の内の一方の開口と該一方向性バルブとの間で受け、他方の開口が外気に露出され、該一方向性バルブが該他方の開口から該一方の開口に向けての空気の流れを許容し、該一方の開口から該他方の開口に向けての空気の流れを阻止するものとされ、該導管が該一方の開口と該一方向性バルブとの間において該胴部と連通している請求項1に記載の圧力表示装置。
- 該胴部が該他方の開口から該一方の開口に向かう方向で延びる突起部を有し、該胴部が該一方の開口側から該振動呼気陽圧装置に設けられている筒状部分に嵌合されて該振動呼気陽圧装置に支持され、該筒状部分内に設けられている一方向性バルブに該突起部が係合して該一方向性バルブを開放し、該他方の開口から該一方の開口への空気の流れを可能とするようにされている請求項3に記載の圧力表示装置。
- 該圧力安定化オリフィスが0.196mm2と1.767mm2の間の断面積を有している、請求項1乃至4の何れか一項に記載の圧力表示装置。

- 振動呼気陽圧装置において、該振動呼気陽圧装置内で振動呼気陽圧療法のための呼気圧力の振動を生じさせるために該振動呼気陽圧装置の使用者の呼気を受け入れる吸気口を有するハウジングと、該ハウジングに支持されて該ハウジング内で発生された呼気圧力の振動を表示する請求項3又は4に記載の圧力表示装置とを有し、該ハウジングは該圧力表示装置の該筒状の胴部と嵌合して該圧力表示装置を支持する筒状部分を有し、該胴部が、該胴部の該一方の開口側から該ハウジングの該筒状部分に嵌合されることにより該ハウジングに支持されるようになされており、該胴部の該一方向性バルブから該一方の開口側が該ハウジングの該吸気口に流体連通され、該他方の開口が該ハウジングの周りの外気に露出されている振動呼気陽圧装置。
