活性酸素源を含む本発明による安定化触媒洗剤組成物の例示的な範囲を、固体洗剤組成物の質量パーセントで表1に示す。
本発明による安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、触媒を有するマトリクスを提供するポリマーコーティングを含む。有益にも、触媒とともに形成されたポリマーマトリクスは、敏感で反応性の成分(例えば活性酸素源)を保護する方法を提供し、従来技術の系に関する問題を取り除く。本発明によるポリマーコーティングは、触媒を有するポリマーマトリクスを提供する。一側面において、ポリマーマトリクスは、漂白触媒を保護するコーティングを提供し、安定性及び/又は完全性のあらゆる問題を招くことなく、固体洗剤処方中にそれを取り込むことを可能にする。理論又は特定の作用機構に制約されないが、ポリマーコーティングは、触媒を有するポリマーマトリクス構造を形成し、更に漂白触媒を囲み、有害な種、例えば空中酸素及び/又は固体製剤の含有水に対するバリアを生じている。
本発明による安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、少なくとも一つの触媒を含む。本明細書で用いる用語「触媒」は、酸素源、例えば過炭酸塩を活性化し、改善された漂白活性及び/又は使用溶液の泡立ちを提供して、強化された洗浄有効性を提供するよう用いられる剤、例えば遷移金属を意味する。一側面において、触媒は、活性酸素源を変換又は分解(すなわち酸化)して、触媒的に強化された漂白種を生成するのに適している。本発明の一側面において、触媒は分解し易く、したがって本発明によるポリマーマトリクスを使用したコーティングを必要とする。例えば、Mn(II)又はMn(III)は、特に酸化剤と組み合わせたとき及び/又はアルカリ性の環境で容易に酸化されて、Mn(IV)種(MnO2に変わる)を形成する。
本発明による安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、少なくとも一つの活性酸素化合物を含むことができる。本発明に使用するのに適する活性酸素源は、無機又は有機であることができ、これらの混合物であることができる。
本発明の固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、少なくとも一つのアルカリ源を含む。いくつかの側面において、一つ以上のアルカリ源は、固体組成物を形成する水和可能な塩として機能する。いくつかの側面において、水和可能な塩は、実質的に無水のものであることができる。当業者であれば、本明細書の本開示から、固体洗剤組成物中の一つ以上のアルカリ源と共に、一つ以上のアルカリ源を水和させる水和水が含まれてもよいことを確認するであろう。水への言及は、水和水及び自由水の両方を含むことを理解すべきである。
いくつかの実施形態において、本発明の組成物は界面活性剤又は界面活性剤系を含む。様々な界面活性剤を洗剤組成物中に使用することができ、限定されないが:アニオン性、非イオン性、カチオン性、及び双性イオン性界面活性剤が挙げられる。使用することができる例示的な界面活性剤は、多くの出所から商業的に入手可能である。界面活性剤に関する議論については、例えば、Kirk-Othmer、Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology、第三版、8巻、900-912頁、Schwartz、Perry、及びBerchによる「Surface Active Agents and Detergents」第I及びII巻を参照されたく、それぞれは引用によりその全体が本明細書に取り入れられる。
洗剤組成物の成分は、様々な機能性成分と更に組み合わせることができる。いくつかの実施形態において、ポリマー、触媒、アルカリ源、活性酸素、及び/又は界面活性剤を含む固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、洗剤組成物の合計質量の大部分又は実質的に全部さえも構成する。例えば、いくつかの実施形態において、そこに更なる機能性成分はほとんど又は全く処方されない。
いくつかの実施形態において、組成物は溶媒を含み、混合物に触媒及びポリマーを組み合わせ、乾燥させてポリマーマトリクスコーティングを形成する。触媒及びポリマーを組み合わせることは、洗剤組成物の製造方法に従って開示される、乾燥又は蒸発工程のために充分な、剤を確実に分散させるのに適するあらゆる手段であることができる。
いくつかの実施形態において、組成物は活性化剤を含み、活性酸素源(例えば過炭酸塩)の活性を更に増加させる。触媒に加えて、そのような活性化剤を使用することができる。適切な活性化剤としては、4−ベンゾイルオキシベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム(SBOBS);N,N,N’,N’−テトラアセチルエチレンジアミン(TAED);1−メチル−2−ベンゾイルオキシベンゼン−4−スルホン酸ナトリウム;4−メチル−3−ベンゾイルオキシ安息香酸ナトリウム;SPCCトリメチルアンモニウムトルイルオキシベンゼンスルホネート;ノナノイルオキシベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、3,5,5−トリメチルヘキサノイルオキシベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム;ペンタアセチルグルコース(PAG);オクタノイルテトラアセチルグルコース、及びベンゾイルテトラセチルグルコースが挙げられる。
いくつかの実施形態において、組成物はキレート剤/封鎖剤を含む。適切なキレート剤/封鎖剤は、例えば、シトラート、アミノカルボン酸、縮合リン酸塩、ホスホネート、及びポリアクリレートである。一般に、キレート剤は、天然水中に一般に見られる金属イオンに配位して(すなわち、結合して)、金属イオンが洗浄用組成物の他の洗浄成分の作用を阻害することを防止することができる分子である。一般に、キレート化/封鎖剤は、一般にビルダー剤の一種ともいうことができる。キレート化剤/封鎖剤は、有効量で含まれるとき、閾値剤(threshold agent)として機能することがある。濃縮した洗浄剤組成物は、0.1〜70質量%、好ましくは5〜60質量%、より好ましくは5〜50質量%、最も好ましくは10〜40質量%のキレート化剤/封鎖剤を含むことができる。
いくつかの実施形態において、組成物は、低又は無−起泡性界面活性剤に加えて、消泡剤を含んでもよい。いくつかの側面において、適切な消泡剤としては、例えば、エチレンオキシド/プロピレンブロックコポリマー、例えば名称Pluronic N−3の下で入手可能なもの、シリコーン化合物、例えばポリジメチルシロキサン中に分散したシリカ、ポリジメチルシロキサン、及び官能化ポリジメチルシロキサン、脂肪アミド、炭化水素ワックス、脂肪酸、脂肪族エステル、脂肪族アルコール、脂肪酸石鹸、エトキシレート、鉱油、ポリエチレングリコールエステル、及びアルキルリン酸エステル、例えばリン酸モノステアリルが挙げられる。
触媒材料のポリマーマトリクスは、本明細書に記載の固体洗剤処方に取り入れられ、安定化触媒洗剤組成物と呼ばれる。触媒、例えばマンガン錯体ベースの触媒は、活性酸素成分(例えば漂白組成物)及び/又は高アルカリ性洗剤組成物を含む安定化組成物に、有益にも処方される。得られる固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、本発明による使用溶液の生成に適する安定性及び分布の均一性を提供する。
いくつかの側面において、安定化触媒洗剤組成物は、処方内の他の成分(例えば活性酸素源及び/又はアルカリ)から触媒材料を保護することを要する様々な用途に使用するのに適切である。本発明の使用の用途に限定されないが、安定化された触媒組成物は、特に漂白システム、例えば洗濯及び物品洗浄における、酸化触媒の保護に適している。具体的には、漂白システムは、物品洗浄洗剤、コーヒー及び/又はお茶ステイン除去剤、ペルオキシド又は過酸洗剤のための過酸素活性化触媒を使用している定置洗浄(CIP)用途、外科用器具洗浄等、洗濯用途等が挙げられる。

触媒材料とともに固体洗剤ブロック組成物に含まれる固体過酸化物源の様々な処方を評価して、利用可能な酸素及び触媒の安定性が改善することがあるか否かを決定した。以下の処方を評価して、触媒及び過酸化物源の安定性を改善するためのポリマーマトリクス方法を確認した。安定性についての要求は、封入又はマトリクスについての、使用溶液への充分な溶解を提供する必要性と更に組み合わせられた。洗浄性能はポリマーマトリクスに影響を受けるべきでなく、充分な溶解速度を確実にするためにポリマーマトリクス材料は充分な水溶性が必要であることを実証した。
Acusol 445(45%活性)を用いた触媒顆粒の調製は、Acusol 448を用いた顆粒と同様であったが、全体の%活性が2%以下の活性マンガン触媒となるように、53.7グラムのAcusol 445原料を使用した。
触媒材料を伴う固体洗剤ブロック組成物の更なる処方を評価して、触媒が高アルカリ性組成物中で安定性を維持することができるか否かを決定した。これらの処方中に固体過酸化物源は含まれておらず;高アルカリ性の安定性を評価し、これらの条件は触媒材料に安定性上の限界を生じさせることが知られている。表4に示す処方を用いて、ポリマーマトリクスで囲まれたマンガン触媒2含む、高アルカリ性を有する固体水和物(例えば苛性処方)を生成した。
触媒材料を伴う固体洗剤ブロック組成物の更なる処方を評価して、高濃度の界面活性剤を含む高アルカリ性組成物中で触媒が安定性を維持することができるか否か決定した。これらの処方は固体過酸化物源を含まなかった。表5に示す処方を用いて、ポリマーマトリクスによって囲まれた又はコーティングされたマンガン触媒2を含む、高アルカリ性を有する固体水和物(例えば苛性処方)を生成した。
更なる調査−Acusol 448、及びAcusol 445ポリマーの評価を行い、ポリマーマトリクスで囲まれたマンガン触媒1とともに過炭酸塩を含む水和固体洗剤処方の安定性を定量化した。
更なる調査を行い、ポリマー材料としてAcusol 445を評価して、ポリマーマトリクスで囲まれたマンガン触媒を有する腐食剤を含む水和固体腐食性洗濯処方の安定性を定量化した。
更なる調査を行い、ポリマー材料としてAcusol 445を評価して、ポリマーマトリクスで囲まれたマンガン触媒を含む水和固体灰分ベース洗濯処方の安定性を定量化した。

溶媒中にポリマーを提供することであって、前記ポリマーはカルボキシレートである、ことと;
溶媒中に触媒を提供することであって、前記触媒は、下式

を有し、式中、Lはそれぞれ独立して、Mn金属に配位した少なくとも3つの窒素原子及び/又は少なくとも2つのカルボキシル基を含む、有機配位子であり、Xはそれぞれ独立して、H 2 O、OH − 、SH − 、HO 2 − 、O 2− 、O 2 2− 、S 2− 、F − 、Cl − 、Br − 、I − 、NO 3 − 、NO 2 − 、SO 4 2− 、SO 3 2− 、PO 4 3− 、N 3 − 、CN − 、NR 3 、NCS − 、RCN、RS − 、RCO 2 − 、RO − 、及び
前記ポリマー及び前記触媒を組み合わせて、溶液を形成することと;
前記ポリマー及び触媒の溶液を乾燥させて、安定化された触媒ポリマーマトリクスを形成することと;

前記溶媒は水であり、活性酸素源、一つ以上の界面活性剤、及び/又は少なくとも一つの更なる機能性成分とともに、前記触媒を凝固させることを更に含む、項目13に記載の方法。

前記水和固体洗剤組成物が、約10〜80質量%のアルカリ源と、約0.1〜15質量%の安定化された触媒ポリマーマトリクスと、約10〜75質量%の活性酸素源と、約1〜25質量%の界面活性剤と、約1〜30質量%の少なくとも一つの更なる機能性成分とを含む、項目14に記載の方法。

項目1〜12に記載の固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物を提供することと;
前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液を生成することと;
洗浄及び/又は漂白を必要とする表面又は目的物を、前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液に接触させることとを含む、方法。

前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液が、物品洗浄及び/又は洗濯用途に使用される、項目16に記載の方法。

前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液が、パルプ及び/又は紙の漂白、廃水処理及び/又はエポキシ化反応用途に使用される、項目16に記載の方法。

前記固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物が触媒の安定性を維持しつつ、アルカリ性洗剤組成物中に処方される、項目16に記載の方法。

前記安定化触媒洗剤組成物が、腐食性及び/又は炭酸塩洗剤であり、任意に活性酸素源を含んで、前記安定化された触媒を用いた漂白の利点を提供する、項目16に記載の方法。
Claims (17)
- 少なくとも一つのアルカリ源と;
ポリマーのポリマーマトリクス、及び前記ポリマーマトリクスに封入された触媒を含む安定化された触媒と;
洗剤組成物の使用溶液中の前記触媒によって触媒される活性酸素源と
を含む、固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物であって、
前記ポリマーは、水溶性の、アクリル酸/マレイン酸コポリマー、アクリル酸ポリマー、又はこれらの組み合わせを含み、
前記触媒は、下式:
式中、MはMnであり、L1及びL2は別々の配位子であるか、又はL1及びL2は組み合わされて単一の分子になっていることができ、
式中、L1及びL2はそれぞれ独立して、Mn金属に配位した少なくとも3つの窒素原子及び/又は少なくとも2つのカルボキシル基を含む、有機配位子であり;
Xはそれぞれ独立して、H2O、OH−、SH−、HO2 −、O2−、O2 2−、S2−、F−、Cl−、Br−、I−、NO3 −、NO2 −、SO4 2−、SO3 2−、PO4 3−、N3 −、CN−、NR3、NCS−、RCN、RS−、RCO2 −、RO−、及び
式中、Rは水素又はC1〜C6アルキル基であり、
Yはカウンターイオンであり、
前記ポリマーと前記触媒との質量比は、98:2〜99.9:0.1である、洗剤組成物。 - 前記ポリマーが1,000〜10,000の分子量を有する、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記ポリマーが、アクリル酸/マレイン酸コポリマー、アクリル酸ポリマー、又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記アルカリ源が、アルカリ金属水酸化物、アルカリ金属炭酸塩、アルカリ金属シリケート、アルカリ金属メタシリケート、アルカリ金属重炭酸塩、アルカリ金属セスキ炭酸塩、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液のpHが少なくとも8.5である、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液のpHが少なくとも12である、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記活性酸素源は、過酸素化合物、過酸素化合物付加体、過酸化水素、過酸化水素を放出する又は生成する化合物、無機又は有機ペルオキシ酸、ペルオキシカルボン酸、過炭酸塩、又はこれらの組み合わせである、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 前記活性酸素源が過炭酸ナトリウムである、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 10〜90質量%の前記アルカリ源と、0.1〜15質量%の前記安定化された触媒と、2〜75質量%の活性酸素源と、1〜25質量%の少なくとも一つの界面活性剤と、1〜30質量%の少なくとも一つの更なる機能性成分とを含む、請求項1に記載の洗剤組成物。
- 固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物を製造する方法であって:
溶媒中にポリマーを提供することであって、前記ポリマーは、水溶性の、アクリル酸/マレイン酸コポリマー、アクリル酸ポリマー、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、ことと;
溶媒中に触媒を提供することであって、前記触媒は、下式:
式中、MはMnであり、L1及びL2は別々の配位子であるか、又はL1及びL2は組み合わされて単一の分子になっていることができ、
式中、L1及びL2はそれぞれ独立して、Mn金属に配位した少なくとも3つの窒素原子及び/又は少なくとも2つのカルボキシル基を含む、有機配位子であり、Xはそれぞれ独立して、H2O、OH−、SH−、HO2 −、O2−、O2 2−、S2−、F−、Cl−、Br−、I−、NO3 −、NO2 −、SO4 2−、SO3 2−、PO4 3−、N3 −、CN−、NR3、NCS−、RCN、RS−、RCO2 −、RO−、及び
前記ポリマー及び前記触媒を組み合わせて、溶液を形成することと;
前記ポリマー及び触媒の溶液を乾燥させて、安定化された触媒ポリマーマトリクスを形成することと;
少なくとも一つのアルカリ源及び活性酸素源とともに、前記安定化された触媒ポリマーマトリクスを凝固させて、水和固体洗剤組成物を形成することとを含み、
前記ポリマーと前記触媒との質量比は、98:2〜99.9:0.1である、方法。 - 前記溶媒は水であり、一つ以上の界面活性剤、及び/又は少なくとも一つの更なる機能性成分とともに、前記触媒を凝固させることを更に含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記水和固体洗剤組成物が、10〜80質量%のアルカリ源と、0.1〜15質量%の安定化された触媒ポリマーマトリクスと、10〜75質量%の活性酸素源と、1〜25質量%の界面活性剤と、1〜30質量%の少なくとも一つの更なる機能性成分とを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 洗浄及び/又は漂白方法であって:
請求項1〜9に記載の固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物を提供することと;
前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液を生成することと;
洗浄及び/又は漂白を必要とする表面又は目的物を、前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液に接触させることとを含む、方法。 - 前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液が、物品洗浄及び/又は洗濯用途に使用される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記洗剤組成物の使用溶液が、パルプ及び/又は紙の漂白、廃水処理及び/又はエポキシ化反応用途に使用される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記固体安定化触媒洗剤組成物が触媒の安定性を維持しつつ、アルカリ性洗剤組成物中に処方される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記安定化触媒洗剤組成物が、腐食性及び/又は炭酸塩洗剤である、請求項13に記載の方法。
