Description
Claims (14)
- 第1自由端部と第2自由端部の間に長手方向ギャップを有し、管の外面の周りに嵌める管状のケーシングと、
該ケーシングを前記管の外面の周りで締める締め付けシステムと、を備えた管継手において、
前記締め付けシステムは、
前記管状のケーシングの前記第1自由端部から半径方向に延びる第1枢動部材、
前記管状のケーシングの前記第2自由端部から半径方向に延び、前記第1枢動部材に向かって延びる突起が遠位端部に位置付けられた第2枢動部材、
前記ケーシング内に位置付けられ、前記管状のケーシングの前記第1自由端部と前記第2自由端部の間の前記長手方向ギャップに跨るブリッジ板、
少なくとも1つのファスナ、及び
前記第2枢動部材の前記突起を前記第1枢動部材に対して半径方向に拘束する手段であり、
スロット・キー機構を含み、前記第1枢動部材に、長手方向に沿った主軸を有するスロットが設けられ、前記第2枢動部材の前記突起は、前記第1枢動部材の前記スロットと係合して前記第1枢動部材と前記第2枢動部材の間の半径方向相対移動を実質的に防止するよう構成されたキーを有する、前記拘束する手段
を含み、前記ファスナを締めると、前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材は、前記突起を支点に枢動し、前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材は、前記管状のケーシングの前記第1自由端部及び前記管状のケーシングの前記第2自由端部それぞれを中心に弾性的に曲がり、前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材の近位端部同士が接近して前記管の前記外面の周りで前記ケーシングを締めると共に前記ブリッジ板に半径方向力を加え、
前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材の少なくとも一方が凸状であることで、前記ファスナを締めると前記凸状の枢動部材が真っ直ぐになる管継手。 - 請求項1に記載の管継手において、前記第1枢動部材の前記近位端部に弾性的に結合されて前記第2枢動部材から離れるように延びる第1足部と、前記第2枢動部材の前記近位端部に弾性的に結合されて前記第1枢動部材から離れるように延びる第2足部とをさらに備えた管継手。
- 請求項2に記載の管継手において、前記第1足部は、前記管状のケーシングの前記第1自由端部に接続され、前記第2足部は、前記管状のケーシングの前記第2自由端部に接続される管継手。
- 請求項3に記載の管継手において、前記第1足部及び前記第2足部は、前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材それぞれと一体形成される管継手。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記第2枢動部材からの前記突起は、前記第2枢動部材に弾性的に結合される管継手。
- 請求項5に記載の管継手において、前記第2枢動部材からの前記突起は、前記第2枢動部材と一体形成される管継手。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記拘束する手段は、前記第1枢動部材の遠位端部に位置付けられ前記第2枢動部材に向かって延びる突起を含み、前記第1枢動部材の前記突起は、前記第2枢動部材の前記突起と係合して、前記第1枢動部材と前記第2枢動部材の間の半径方向相対移動を実質的に防止する管継手。
- 請求項7に記載の管継手において、前記第1枢動部材からの前記突起は、前記第1枢動部材と一体形成される管継手。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記ケーシングは、ウェブ部を有する略U字形の断面からなり、前記ウェブ部は、該ウェブ部の軸方向端部から半径方向内方に突出して環状チャネルを画定するフランジを有する管継手。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記ケーシング内に位置付けられた管状シールガスケットをさらに備えた管継手。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記第1枢動部材及び前記第2枢動部材は、前記ケーシングの長手方向に沿って延びる板である管継手。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記自由端部に隣接して前記管状のケーシングに接続された補強板をさらに備えた管継手。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記ブリッジ板は、前記管状のケーシングの前記第1自由端部及び前記第2自由端部の一方に結合される管継手。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、内方に突出した把持歯を有し前記管状のケーシング内に位置付けられた少なくとも1つの弧状の把持リングをさらに備えた管継手。
