Description
本願は、2013年3月13日付けで出願された米国仮出願第61,780,267号、2012年10月18日付けで出願された米国仮出願第61/715,812号、及び、2012年8月30日付けで出願された米国仮出願第61/695,201号を基礎とする優先権を主張するものであり、これらの出願全体がそれぞれ引用することにより本明細書の一部をなす。
酸化カルシウム15g及び二酸化ケイ素15gを含む混合物に、1M水酸化ナトリウム溶液100mLを室温で添加した。得られたスラリーを、水蒸気圧15psiで、6時間オートクレーブにて水熱反応させた。残留した固体に対し、600℃で30分間マッフル炉にて加熱を行った。
酸化カルシウム30g、二酸化ケイ素15g、及び、塩化第二鉄六水和物15gを含む混合物に、1M水酸化ナトリウム溶液200mLを室温で添加した。得られたスラリーを、水蒸気圧15psiで、1時間〜6時間オートクレーブにて水熱反応させた。残留した固体に対し、600℃で30分間マッフル炉にて加熱を行った。
酸化カルシウム30g及び二酸化ケイ素15gを含む混合物に、1M水酸化ナトリウム溶液200mLを室温で添加した。得られたスラリーを、水蒸気圧15psiで、3時間オートクレーブにて水熱反応させた。残留した固体に対し、600℃で12時間マッフル炉にて加熱を行った。
組成物A、組成物B及び組成物Cの性質及び使用について、更に徹底的な調査を行った。典型的な化学的性質及び物理的性質を表1に詳しく示す。
肥料としての使用のための吸着されたリン酸塩及び硝酸塩の回収
リン酸塩及び硝酸塩の両方を吸着した結晶は、濾過又は重力沈降により容易に水溶液から除去される。これらの結晶は、オーブンで乾燥することにより、又は、単に空気で乾燥することにより、乾燥することができる。実験室での等温線に基づくと、組成物Bに由来する飽和結晶の肥料価値は5−35−0であり、これは、窒素(N)が5%、リンがP2O5として35%、カリウム(K)が0%であることを示している。リン酸塩採掘作業から得られた表層水の処理が実証するように、肥料価値は場合により増加し得る(リンがP2O5として57%)。例えば、図11を参照のこと。
Claims (11)
- ラーナイトケイ酸カルシウム構造およびカルシオカンラン石ケイ酸カルシウム構造に加えて水酸化カルシウム、塩化ナトリウム、二酸化ケイ素及び炭酸カルシウムの結晶構造を含み、かつ
少なくとも塩化第二鉄を非結晶状態で含む、
水溶液からリン酸塩、硝酸塩及び重金属を除去することのできる組成物。 - (a)酸化カルシウム、二酸化ケイ素、水酸化ナトリウム、水、及び塩化第二鉄を含むスラリーを形成することであって、酸化カルシウム:二酸化ケイ素:水酸化ナトリウム:塩化第二鉄のモル比が48.6〜59.4:22.5〜27.5:18〜22:4.95〜6.05の範囲であることと、
(b)前記スラリーに対し、93.1kPa〜113.8kPaの圧力下で1時間〜6時間水熱プロセスを行うことにより、水溶液からリン酸塩、硝酸塩及び重金属を除去することのできる組成物を製造する方法。 - (c)前記組成物を540℃〜660℃で少なくとも27分間加熱すること、を更に含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- (c)で要求される加熱工程を600℃で少なくとも30分間行う、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 請求項1に記載の組成物を、リン酸塩、硝酸塩及び/又は重金属を含む水溶液に接触させるとともに、反応させることを含む、水溶液からリン酸塩、硝酸塩及び/又は重金属を除去する方法。
- 前記水溶液を反応チャンバー内に収容し、前記組成物を遠心力下で該水溶液と接触させるとともに、反応させる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記水溶液が加圧浮上法(dissolved air flotation)の最終段階における水溶液又はプロセス水流中の水溶液である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物を部分噴射器(portion injector)によって前記水溶液と接触させるとともに、反応させる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- スラリーで散布することにより前記組成物を前記水溶液と接触させさせるとともに、反応させる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が埋設バリアに成形されている、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記組成物が凝集剤であり、更にポリマーを含むものである、請求項5に記載の方法。
