Description
本発明の一態様にかかるドリルは、すくい面に刃先強化用のネガランドを備え、そのネガランドと逃げ面、逃げ面とマージン、及びネガランドとマージンが交差した位置の各稜線が長手直角断面において凸曲面としたものであって、逃げ面とネガランドが交差した位置の第1稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径を1としたとき、逃げ面とマージンが交差した位置の第2稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径を0.8〜1.5倍、ネガランドとマージンが交差した位置の第4稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径を1.5〜3.0倍にしたドリルとした。
以下、この発明の実施形態にかかるドリルの具体例を以下に添付図面の図1〜図5を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本発明はこれ等の例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。

Claims (1)
- すくい面と、
逃げ面と、
前記すくい面と前記逃げ面をつなぐ面であるネガランドと、
前記すくい面、前記逃げ面、および前記ネガランドと交差するマージンとを備え、
前記ネガランドと前記逃げ面、前記逃げ面と前記マージン、及び前記ネガランドと前記マージンが交差した各稜線の長手直角断面形状が、凸曲面であるドリルであって、
前記逃げ面と前記ネガランドが交差した位置の第1稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径が0.025mm、前記逃げ面と前記マージンが交差した位置の第2稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径が0.03mm、前記ネガランドと前記マージンが交差した位置の第4稜線の凸曲面の曲率半径が0.060mmであり、
前記ネガランドの前記ドリルの軸芯に対する傾き角度が−25°であり、
前記ネガランドの軸直角視における幅が0.07mmであり、
前記すくい面と前記マージンが交差した位置の第3稜線が長手直角断面において凸曲面に形成され、
前記ドリルの表面にTiAlのコーティング被膜が形成された超硬合金製の2枚刃のドリル。
