Description
包装用ラミネート10は以下の表に示す組成物を使用して製造した。
実施例1及び参照例1では、200m/分のウェブ速度、及び、押出しダイの出口と熔融カーテンがウェブの表面と接触する点との間を2つの異なった間隔にして、すなわち、195mm及び310mmの隙間で反復した。更に、これらの例は、参照例1のラミネート材料を管型反応器での重合で製造した試験ポリマーLDPE 2によって置き換えたことを唯一の相違として反復し、これは、ラミネート材料の単一層としての押出しの際の大きなネックインの形で予想された低い押出し特性を有した。
参照例2では、管型反応器での重合で製造し、かつ、すべての利用可能なデータ及び提案によれば、押出しコーティングには適さず、代わりに、射出成型に対して意図され、かつ、2.16kg、190℃で20g/10分にもなるMFIを有するポリマーLDPE 3(Dow 750 E)でラミネート材料を置き換えたことを唯一の相違として反復した。予想通り、従来の押出しラミネートは、大きすぎるネックインの理由でこのポリマーでは実施不可能であった。実施例3では、代わりに、実施例2と同じLDPE 3の中央層並びに同じポリマーの外側接着剤層及び同じ層厚さでラミネート材料を共押出しした。
実施例1は、ラミネート材料の両方の外側層13b及び13cの接着性ポリマーとしてPrimacor 3460(MFI 20g/10分)を使用したことを唯一の相違として反復した。中央層として従来のオートクレーブLDPE Novex 19N 730を使用した。3つの層は温度設定290〜290〜290℃で共押出しを行い、500m/分のウェブ速度でコーティングが可能であった。
実施例3のように、しかし、別個の評価において、ラミネート材料としてのm-LLDPE及びHDPEと比較して調べた。唯一のラミネート材料としてのこれらのポリマーの押出しが過剰に大きいネックイン値の理由で不可能であった一方、小さな押出し速度においてさえ、外側接着剤層との共押出しはかなり向上した押出し工程を可能にし、紙のウェブ及びアルミニウム箔が満足な接着で互いにラミネート可能であった。

Claims (16)
- 包装用ラミネート(10)を製造する方法であって、
ガスに対するバリア特性を持つ材料のウェブ(203)が紙又は板紙のウェブ(201)と一緒に運ばれる工程と、
一緒に運ばれた前記ウェブ(203及び201)は2つの隣接した回転可能なシリンダー(204及び205)間の間隙を介して誘導され、同時に、前記ウェブ(201及び203)を互いに恒久的に固着するために、これらの間にラミネート材料(206)を適用する工程と、
を含み、
前記ラミネート材料(206)は、一方の表面上に紙又は板紙に固着する能力を持つ第1の接着性ポリマーの第1の外側層(206b)を有し、かつ、他の表面上にガスバリアとして機能する前記材料に固着する能力を持つ第2の接着性ポリマーの第2の外側層(206c)を有する中央ポリマー層(206a)を含み、
前記ラミネート材料(206)には、前記紙又は板紙のウェブ(201)と接触している前記第1の外側層(206b)及びガスバリア特性を持つ前記材料のウェブ(203)と接触している前記第2の外側層(206c)が適用され、
前記ラミネート材料(206)は、前記中央ポリマー層(206a)及び前記第1の外側層(206b)及び前記第2の外側層(206c)の共押出しによって適用され、
前記中央ポリマー層(206a)は、オートクレーブ反応器における重合反応又は管型反応器における重合反応のいずれかによって製造した低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)を含み、
前記第1の外側層(206b)及び前記第2の外側層(206c)における接着性ポリマーは、官能性極性基を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記材料のウェブ(203)は、酸素に対するバリア特性を持つ、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記中央ポリマー層(206a)はポリオレフィンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記中央ポリマー層(206a)はポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記中央ポリマー層(206a)は、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、超低密度ポリエチレン(VLDPE)、極超低密度ポリエチレン(ULDPE)、所謂シングルサイト触媒、メタロセン触媒、又は、所謂束縛構造触媒を使用して製造した直鎖低密度ポリエチレン(m-LLDPE)、中密度ポリエチレン(MDPE)、及び、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)を含む群から選択したポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の外側層(206b及び206c)における前記接着性ポリマーは互いに同一であることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の外側層(206b及び206c)における前記接着剤は、材料、エチレン-アクリル酸コポリマー(EAA)及びエチレン-メタクリル酸コポリマー(EMAA)から選択したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ガスバリアとして機能する前記材料層はアルミニウムであることを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 紙又は板紙の層(11)と、ガスバリアとして機能する層(12)とを含み、前記層(11及び12)はラミネート材料(13)によって互いに固着されている、酸素に敏感な液体食品のための包装容器のための包装用ラミネートであって、
ラミネート材料(13)は、一方の表面上に前記紙又は板紙の層(11)に固着する能力を持つ第1の接着性ポリマーの第1の層(13b)を有し、他の表面上にガスバリアとして機能する前記層(12)に固着する能力を持つ第2の接着性ポリマーの第2の層(13c)を有する中央ポリマー層(13a)を含むこと、
前記第1の層(13b)は前記紙又は板紙の層(11)と接触し、
前記第2の層(13c)はガスバリアとして機能する前記層(12)と接触し、
前記ラミネート材料(13)は、前記中央ポリマー層(13a)及び前記第1の層(13b)及び前記第2の層(13c)の共押出しによって適用され、
前記中央ポリマー層(13a)は、オートクレーブ反応器における重合反応又は管型反応器における重合反応のいずれかによって製造した低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)を含み、
前記第1の層(13b)及び前記第2の層(13c)における接着性ポリマーは、官能性極性基を有することを特徴とする包装用ラミネート。 - 前記中央ポリマー層(13a)はポリオレフィンを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- 前記中央ポリマー層(13a)はポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- 前記中央ポリマー層(13a)は、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)、直鎖低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)、超低密度ポリエチレン(VLDPE)、極超低密度ポリエチレン(ULDPE)、所謂シングルサイト触媒、メタロセン触媒、又は、所謂束縛構造触媒を使用して製造した直鎖低密度ポリエチレン(m-LLDPE)、中密度ポリエチレン(MDPE)、及び、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)を含む群から選択したポリエチレンを含むことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- 前記第1及び第2の層(13b及び13c)における前記接着剤は、互いに同一であることを特徴とする請求項9から12のいずれか一項に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- 前記第1及び第2の層(13b及び13c)における前記接着剤は、エチレン-アクリル酸コポリマー(EAA)及びエチレン-メタクリル酸コポリマー(EMAA)から選択したことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- ガスバリアとして機能する前記層(12)はアルミニウム箔であることを特徴とする請求項9から14のいずれか一項に記載の包装用ラミネート。
- 請求項9から15のいずれか一項に記載の前記包装用ラミネートを折り曲げて製造された液体食品用の包装容器。
