Description
The present invention relates to a transport packaging tape for stably and automatically supplying parts.
Various electronic devices including portable devices are becoming thinner, smaller, and lighter. Various electronic components such as semiconductor packages mounted on these electronic devices are also required to be thin, small and light.
In order to mount the electronic component on the circuit board, the electronic component is previously stored in a transport and packaging tape that can be automatically supplied and set in a feeder of the automatic mounting machine. The feeders on which the transport packaging tape is set are fixed to the automatic mounting machine, and are taken out from the transport packaging tape one by one by the suction nozzle of the automatic mounting machine and mounted on the circuit board. The transport and packaging tape includes a carrier tape in which a pocket for storing the electronic component is formed and a cover tape that covers the electronic component so that the electronic component does not fall or change its posture.
In general, a cover tape is composed of a base material layer and an adhesive layer, and a transport wrapping tape is configured by melting a seal layer at both ends of the long side of the cover tape and bonding it to a carrier tape. In order for the suction nozzle of the automatic mounting machine to pick up the components, in the feeder, the operation of peeling the carrier tape and the cover tape and the operation of sending out the transport packaging tape are performed simultaneously so that the electronic components can be taken out. As for the timing of removing the cover tape, the cover tape is peeled off several to ten or more pockets before the pickup position, and waiting for the parts to be adsorbed. Therefore, there is nothing to hold the part until the part is picked up after the cover tape is peeled off, and the electronic part is conveyed to the pickup position in an unstable state. Electronic components may jump out of the pocket of the carrier tape due to vibration during transport by the feeder or when the cover tape is peeled off, or the posture may change in the pocket, which hinders continuous mounting on a stable circuit board. Yes.
As described above, as electronic devices become thinner, smaller, and lighter, electronic components are also becoming thinner, smaller, and lighter.
Along with this, in the electronic component mounting process on the circuit board, the electronic component jumps out of the pocket during transfer of the transport packaging tape due to the vibration of the automatic mounting machine and feeder, and the posture change in the pocket increases and stable component supply is possible. It's getting harder. The malfunction in the conventional transport packaging tape is demonstrated below using FIGS. 9-12.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a transport packaging tape for stably mounting electronic components on a circuit board.
In addition, the
The following means were used to solve the above problems.
When peeling the cover tape that composes the transport packaging tape from the carrier tape, the cover tape remains partly adhered to the carrier tape to prevent the electronic component from changing its position in the pocket of the carrier tape. .
By using the above means, the electronic component maintains its normal posture in the pocket of the carrier tape even if it receives vibration from an automatic mounting machine or feeder when the electronic component is mounted on a circuit board, etc. The suction nozzle of the mounting machine can stably pick up electronic components.
Further, the present invention is not limited to electronic parts, but can also be applied to supply of assembly parts such as screws or supply of food materials in a food manufacturing process.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a top view of a transport and packaging tape according to the first embodiment of the present invention.
The structure of the transport wrapping tape according to the present invention is such that the
By aligning the
Usually, the cover tape has a uniform adhesive layer on the surface of the base material layer, and the adhesiveness of the area where the parts are pressed is the same as that of the other areas. It may be stronger.

FIG. 4 is an image diagram of a second embodiment according to the present invention. This is an example in which the
One
FIG. 5 is an image diagram of a third embodiment according to the present invention. The
FIG. 6 is an image diagram of a fourth embodiment according to the present invention. The
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the
