Description
本発明は特に、プラスチック材料で作製され、かつ、調整雰囲気下で充填されたワインで満たされたコップの縁部にフィルム蓋材を熱封緘することに関する。
これは、縁部が熱封緘中に変形する融解可能部分を含んでいる場合は特に重大な意味を持つ。というのも、その部分が縁部の周りに不均一な変形を、さらには飲料で満たされたコップのユーザが快適であるためには望ましくない突部の形成を、もたらす可能性があるためである。
コップがポットのようなコップ支持体を介してコンベヤ上に置かれる場合、平行ではないツール及び縁部は、熱封緘ツール及びコンベヤが平行ではないこと、並びに、コンベヤ上のコップ支持体の支持面及びコップ支持体上のコップの支持面が平行ではないこと、のうち少なくともいずれか一方に起因する可能性がある。
コップの縁部が(コップの縁部を構成しているプラスチック材料のクリープによって)変形させられると、すなわち縁部が熱封緘中に部分的に融解されると、縁部に「覆いかぶさっている」変形可能な伝導性要素によってフィルム蓋材及び縁部にかけられた圧力は、縁部の外側部分を丸めるか又は湾曲させ、かつ、縁部の外端に突部が形成されるのを回避する。
よって、頭部が縁部との接触に至るときと、アクチュエータによって伝導性要素に施された走行の終わりとの間に、伝導性要素によってフィルム蓋材及び縁部に加えられる圧力は非常に低く、これにより伝導性要素と縁部とを、可動式に連結されている伝導性要素によって可能となされるように確実に平行に配置構成させることがより容易になり、これにより結果として縁部全体に均一な圧力を加えること、かつ、結果的にフィルム蓋材が封緘される質を向上させることが可能となる。
前記ばねの剛性は、前記第2のツール部分の重量、すなわち熱封緘ツールの浮動式に連結される部分の重量に釣り合うように選択されて、その結果、熱封緘ツールが例えば、上述の特許文献3(国際公開第2006/136694号)に述べられているように封緘を為す頭部の下側部分に組み込まれた吸着盤のような空気圧グリッパによってフィルム蓋材が把持されるのを可能にするように熱封緘ツールを水平軸に関して枢動することにより上下逆転されたとき、ばねが熱封緘ツールの上記浮動式に連結される部分を支持することができるようになっていてもよい。
更に、熱封緘デバイスは、好ましくは、多孔質構造の助けを借りて上部空隙へ不活性ガスを導入するためのデバイス、特に特許文献3(国際公開第2006/136694号)に記載されたもののような低速で不活性ガスを注入するためのデバイスを備えている。
本発明は、特にポリエチレンテレフタラート(PET)で作製されたコップであって、特に射出吹込成形法によって製作されうる、かつ、上下逆転したT字形の形態のリブを有する横断面プロファイルの縁部を備えうる、及びおそらくは特許文献4(国際公開第2010/106239号)に記載の他の特性をも示しうるコップの縁部に対して、凹凸を有するか刻印が施されているかのうち少なくともいずれか一方であるフィルム蓋材を熱封緘することに特に適用される。
特に図4及び5を参照すると、熱封緘デバイス10は熱封緘ツール11を備えており、熱封緘ツール11は、アクチュエータ13及びロッド12の略鉛直な長手方向軸14に沿って該ツールを並進移動させる役割を果たしているアクチュエータ13のロッド12の底部端に取り付けられている。
支持体16は、支持体16を移動させるコンベヤによって軸14と略一直線上になされることが可能な鉛直な軸を有する円筒状の空洞を有する。
特に図1〜3および6を参照すると、熱封緘ツール11は、熱伝導性要素19、加熱要素20、並びに伝導性要素19及び加熱要素20に固定されかつ熱的に接触している金属部品21を含んでなる。
フィルム蓋材を封緘するために、加熱要素20には電源(図示せず)によって動力が供給される。
図6に示されるように、熱伝導性要素19は、熱封緘の際にフィルム蓋材18及び縁部17を加熱するためにフィルム蓋材及び縁部に対して押し付けられ、伝導性要素19の周縁部分190は縁部の外側に延在するように、設計されている。
特にコップがプラスチック材料で作製されており、かつ、リブを備えた縁部を有する場合、加熱された伝導性要素をフィルム蓋材及び縁部に載せると、リブが封緘中に塑性的に変形すること、縁部を越えて延在すると同時に縁部の外側面の形状と一致している伝導性要素の周縁部分190によってフィルム蓋材及び縁部に加わる圧力により、縁部の外側部分が湾曲させられること、及び、フィルム蓋材の周縁部分が縁部の周縁部分に対して、少なくともその湾曲したプロファイルを有する部分に沿って、熱封緘されること、のうち少なくともいずれか一方がもたらされることが可能である。
この上側ツール部分は、ディスク又はプレートの形態をとる部品22を含む。また、部品22は、ツール11の走行軸14に対して垂直な平面上に延在し、かつ、プレート22をアクチュエータのロッドに締結するためのブッシング23に固定されている。
この第2のツール部分は、軸14を軸とするディスクの形態でありかつ加熱要素20(図6参照)を受承する金属部品21を備えており、さらには変形可能な伝導性要素19も備えている。
導路はそれぞれ、当接部28を形成する円錐台形の接続面を介して導路27の最も広い部分に接続されかつ最も広い部分と同軸である、狭窄部分29(すなわち、直径がより小さい部分)を有しており、導路はそれぞれ本体26の上面に開口する。
特に、導路は2つ1組での距離は等しくてよく、3本の導路の3つのそれぞれの軸の、それらの軸に対して垂直な平面との交点は、その平面上において正三角形の3つの頂点を形成する。
支え面32は、本体26の中心部に締結されたねじ31の頭部の、ドーム形、例えば球状の面によって構成されてもよい。
更に、それぞれの熱封緘作業の後で、ロッド12がアクチュエータ13によって引き戻されたとき、ロッド24の頭部240が導路の円錐形の支え面28に向かって戻ることによって、下側及び上側のツール部分が相互に中心を合わせて整列させられ、同時に下側及び上側のツール部分が互いに離れていって、その結果支え面32が部品22の底面から離れるようになっている。
Claims (19)
- コップ(15)の縁部(17)にフィルム蓋材(18)を熱封緘するためのデバイス(10)であって、フィルム蓋材及び縁部を加熱するためにフィルム蓋材及び縁部に押し付けられるように設計された変形可能かつ熱伝導性の要素(19)を備え、伝導性要素(19)の周縁部分(190)が縁部を越えて延在するように配置構成されていることと、変形可能な伝導性要素を可動式かつ浮動式に連結するための手段(24、240、26〜30)を備えていることと、アクチュエータ(13)によって加えられた圧力を伝導性要素(19)に伝達するための力伝達手段(31、32)であって、力伝達手段は伝導性要素を可動式かつ浮動式に連結するための手段とは異なっている、手段を備えていることと、を特徴とするデバイス。
- 伝導性要素(19)、加熱要素(20)、並びに伝導性要素及び加熱要素に固定された金属部品(21)を有する熱封緘ツール(11)を備えており、熱封緘ツール(11)を移動させるためのアクチュエータ(13)をさらに備えている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 変形可能な伝導性要素を可動式かつ浮動式に連結するための手段は、伝導性要素(19)及びアクチュエータ(13)が互いに関して並進移動することを可能にする少なくとも1つのガイド部材(24)を含んでいる、請求項2に記載のデバイス。
- 熱封緘ツールは、アクチュエータ(13)のロッド(12)に締結された第1のツール部分と、第1のツール部分に可動式かつ浮動式に連結された第2のツール部分であって、金属部品(21)、加熱要素(20)、及び伝導性要素(19)を備えた第2のツール部分とを備えている、請求項2又は請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 第1及び第2のツール部分のうちの一方は、平行する導路(27〜29)が貫通している本体(26)を有し、導路はそれぞれ当接部(28)を備え、かつ、導路の長手方向軸に沿って延びるばね(30)を受承しており、第1及び第2のツール部分のうちの他方は、平行するガイド部材(24)であって導路(27〜29)のうちのそれぞれ1つに部分的に係合し、かつ、それぞれのばね(30)に対して押し付けられるガイド部材を備えており、ガイド部材はそれぞれ、導路のうちの1つの中を間隔を空けて摺動するように配置構成されて該間隔によりガイド部材が導路の長手方向軸に対して傾動することが可能となっており、当接部(28)は導路(27〜29)からガイド部材が逸脱するのを防止している、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- 導路(27〜29)の数及びガイド部材(24)の数は3に等しく、導路及びガイド部材は2つ1組での距離が等しい、請求項5に記載のデバイス。
- 熱封緘ツールは、熱封緘ツールに組み込まれた空気圧グリッパによってフィルム蓋材が把持されるのを可能にするために水平軸の周りを回転するように取り付けられている、請求項2〜6のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 変形可能な伝導性要素を可動式かつ浮動式に連結するための手段は、伝導性要素が、伝導性要素の走行軸、又は伝導性要素によってフィルム蓋材及び縁部に加えられる圧力の方向、あるいはその両方に対して略直交する2つのピボット軸の周りを枢動することを可能にする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 力伝達手段は、第1及び第2のツール部分のうちの一方に剛体的に接続された力伝達部(31)を含んでなり、力伝達部は第1ツール部分と第2のツール部分との間に延在する支え面(32)を備えている、請求項4〜8のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。

- コップの縁部を越えて延びる伝導性要素(19)によってフィルム蓋材及び縁部に加わる圧力は、縁部の外側部分の丸み付け、又は湾曲をもたらす、請求項13に記載の方法。
- コップの縁部(17)は熱封緘の終了時に輪郭が湾曲した区域を有し、かつ、伝導性要素(19)は、フィルム蓋材の周縁部分が縁部の周縁部分の湾曲したプロファイルに沿って該周縁部分に熱封緘されるのを可能にするために、縁部の側面の周縁部分に密接に嵌合するように変形するのに十分な厚さ、直径、及び弾性を有している、請求項12〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 伝導性要素(19)は、熱封緘ツールが縁部との接触に至るときと、アクチュエータによって伝導性要素に施されたストロークの終わりとの間に、フィルム蓋材及び縁部に圧力を加え、この圧力は縁部にフィルム蓋材を熱封緘するために必要とされる圧力よりも小さい、請求項12〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- フィルム蓋材は、少なくとも部分的に、凹凸を有するか刻印が施されているかのうち少なくともいずれか一方である、請求項12〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- コップには飲料が入っている、請求項12〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法の使用。
