Claims (18)

複数の重合性化合物、ラジカル捕捉剤、およびラジカル光重合開始剤を混ぜ合わせて、0.5mMから50mMまでの前記ラジカル捕捉剤を含むベース混合物を形成するステップと、
前記ベース混合物へ密度充填剤を混ぜ合わせて密度の調整されたセパレータ組成物を形成すること、および前記密度の調整されたセパレータ組成物をセパレータ管へと充填するステップと、
前記密度の調整されたセパレータ組成物および前記管を、ラジカルを発生させるエネルギー源からの8kGyから25kGyまでの放射線で照射して、前記密度の調整されたセパレータ組成物および前記管を滅菌するステップと、
(i)前記ベース混合物を所定の期間にわたってインキュベートすること、(ii)前記ベース混合物をさらに混合すること、および(iii)前記ベース混合物に前記密度充填剤を混ぜ合わせるステップの前に前記ベース混合物を清澄化すること、からなる群から選択される少なくとも1つのステップと、

- 前記照射するステップの後に、40℃と90℃との間の温度で前記密度の調整されたセパレータ組成物をインキュベートするステップをさらに含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記照射するステップは、ガンマ線またはe−ビーム放射線を使用して実施される、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記ラジカル光重合開始剤の活性化は、UV光源およびVIS光源のうちの少なくとも1つを用いた前記ラジカル光重合開始剤の照射を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
