Description
‐湿潤繊維セルロース組成物を調製するステップと、
‐繊維組成物中に抄紙機のウェットパートで本発明の填料の粒子を内添するステップとを含む化粧紙の調製方法に関する。
本発明の目的上、「填料粒子」又は「填料」という用語は、単一種類の粒状物の粒子又は様々な種類の粒状物の粒子の混合物を意味するようになっている。好ましくは、填料は、単一の粒状物から成る。
かくして、本発明の填料と熱硬化性樹脂との屈折率の差Δnは、有利には、0.5以下、更により良好には0.3以下、より好ましくは0.2以下又はそれどころか0.1以下であるのが良い。
本発明の化粧紙は、20g/m2から100g/m2までの範囲にわたり、好ましくは40g/m2から80g/m2までの範囲にわたる坪量を有するのが良い。
‐粉末状カウラミン(Kauramin)773メラミン‐ホルムアルデヒド樹脂を45℃まで加熱された蒸留水中に溶解させることによって56重量%の樹脂の溶液を調製する。その粘度を調節して粘度がブルックフィールド粘度計(B型粘度計とも言う)で100回転/分‐スピンドルNo.2で測定して約20℃において約100mPas(cps)となるようにする。
‐紙のシートの含浸時間を次のようにして求める。
‐試験1回当たり2つの正方形(10×10cm)のサンプルを切断形成し、各面を試験するためにこの面にマーク付けする。
‐時計皿に樹脂を充填する。
‐試験されるべき面が樹脂と接触関係をなした状態で正方形の紙を樹脂の表面上に載せ、それと同時にタイマを始動させる。
‐樹脂が完全に浸透するのにかかった時間に注目する(この時間により樹脂浸透時間が与えられる)。
本発明の化粧紙は、当然のことながら、セルロース繊維を含む。
セルロース繊維を含む本発明の化粧紙の繊維ベースを当業者に知られている任意のプロセスにより調製することができる。
実施例1
a‐化粧紙の調製
エゾマツタイプの針葉樹を原料とする20重量%の漂白クラフトパルプ由来長繊維及びユーカリの80重量%の漂白クラフトパルプ由来短繊維を含むセルロース繊維の混合物を水性相中に懸濁させる。

上述したように調製された紙をヒューレット・パッカード(Hewlett Packard :HP)Deskjet 6540プリンタ上でインキジェット印刷技術により水性インキを印刷すると共にヒムメン(Hymmen)社製のジュピター・ディジタル(Jupiter Digital )印刷トレーサを用いてUV架橋可能インキを印刷した。
印刷紙の色濃度を黄色、黒色、マゼンタ又はシアンに関してXライト500デンシトメータを用いて測定した。

この実施例では、熱硬化性樹脂による含浸前の不透明度を実施例1で調製された紙について測定し、これは、熱硬化性樹脂によるこれら紙の含浸のための時間についても同様である。
Claims (31)
- 高圧、低圧又は連続加圧化粧積層板用の未だ熱硬化性樹脂を含浸されていない化粧紙であって、該化粧紙は、その厚さ全体にわたって分布して設けられた填料粒子を有し、前記填料粒子は80%以上の吸油度を有すると共に0.5μmから10μmまでの範囲にわたるメジアン直径D50を有する、化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、100%以上の吸油度を有する、請求項1記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、20m2/g以上の比表面積を有する、請求項1又は2記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、2μmから8μmまでの範囲にわたるメジアン直径D50を有する、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、板状、粒状、及び球状から選択された形状を有する、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、1.9未満の屈折率nを有する、請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、無機粒子、有機粒子、及びこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、無機であり、前記填料粒子は、50m2/g以上の比表面積及び80%以上の吸油度を有する、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、無機であり、前記填料粒子は、非晶質シリカの粒子、沈降シリカの粒子、珪藻土の粒子、アルミノシリケートの粒子、及びこれらの混合物から選択される、請求項7又は8記載の化粧紙。
- 前記填料粒子は、前記化粧紙の全乾量に対して3重量%から40重量%までの範囲にわたる量存在する、請求項1〜9のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙は、20秒以下の熱硬化性樹脂による含浸速度を示す、請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙は、その面のうちの少なくとも一方上に、20〜140秒のベック平滑度を示す、請求項1〜11のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙には請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一に記載の粒子以外の粒子がない、請求項1〜12のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙にはインキ定着表面層がない、請求項1〜13のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙は、熱硬化性樹脂による含浸後では透明である、請求項1〜14のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 前記化粧紙は、前記化粧紙の面のうちの少なくとも一方上に印刷された少なくとも1つのパターンを更に有する、請求項1〜15のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙。
- 請求項1〜16のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙を調製する方法であって、
‐湿潤繊維セルロース組成物を調製するステップと、
‐抄紙機のウェットパート内で請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一に記載の填料の粒子を前記繊維組成物中に内添するステップとを含む、方法。 - 前記填料粒子は、ヘッドボックスの前で前記組成物と混合することによって前記繊維組成物中に内添される、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記填料粒子は、紙パルプバット内における混合によって前記繊維組成物中に内添される、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記填料粒子は、前記繊維組成物をフォーミング表面上に堆積させた後に前記繊維組成物中に内添される、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記填料粒子は、第2のヘッドボックスによって、スロット装置によって、又は吹き付け装置によって前記繊維組成物中に内添される、請求項20記載の方法。
- 前記填料粒子は、分散液の形態で、又は粉末の形態で前記繊維組成物中に内添される、請求項17〜21うちいずれか一に記載の方法。
- 前記分散液は、水性分散液である、請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記粒子の水性分散液は、実質的に水と前記填料粒子の混合物から成る、請求項23記載の方法。
- 前記繊維組成物に湿潤強度剤及び/又は保持剤を添加するステップを含む、請求項17記載の方法。
- 表面処理ステップを含む、請求項17記載の方法。
- 前記表面処理ステップは、浸透塗工により行われる、請求項26記載の方法。
- 前記表面処理ステップは、ポリジアリルジメチルアンモニウム又は微結晶性セルロースで浸透塗工により行われる、請求項26記載の方法。
- 高圧、低圧又は連続加圧積層板であって、請求項1に記載された少なくとも1つの化粧紙を有する、積層板。
- 請求項1〜16のうちいずれか一に記載の化粧紙(22)の少なくとも2枚の重ね合わせを有する、請求項29記載の積層板(31)。
- 高圧、低圧又は連続加圧積層板用の化粧紙における前記化粧紙のインキジェット印刷による印刷適性を向上させるための請求項1記載の填料の粒子の使用。
