Description
(a)水素化糖、還元糖、非還元糖及びそれらの混合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の炭水化物、
(b)少なくとも1種のポリカルボン酸又はそのような酸の塩若しくは酸無水物、
(c)成分(a)及び(b)の総計に対して1〜25重量%の、酸又は塩基(ブロンステッド)官能基を含まずかつオクタノール/水分配係数(Log Kow)が1〜3である、少なくとも1種の脂肪族、脂環式又は芳香族モノアルコール、
を含む、水性組成物である。
成分(a)/成分(b)の重量比は好ましくは70/30〜30/70であり、特に60/40〜40/60である。

(式中、
[X]octanol は水で飽和されたオクタノール中のXの濃度であり、そして
[X]aqueous はオクタノールで飽和された水中のXの濃度であり、
2つの相は室温であり、そして互いに接触している)。
0〜2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン、
0〜40部、好ましくは4〜25部のオイル又はオイルエマルジョン、
0〜5部のシリコーン、
0〜20部の、水素化糖以外のポリオール、
0〜30部、好ましくは0〜20部の尿素、
0〜30部の、リグニンスルホン酸アンモニウム(ALS)又はリグニンスルホン酸ナトリウムなどのリグニン誘導体、及び、動物性又は植物性タンパク質から選ばれる増量充填材(エクステンダー)。
−上記のとおりの水性サイジング組成物を、ミネラルウール繊維に適用すること、及び、
−水性サイジング組成物の溶媒相を蒸発させ、そして該組成物の非揮発性残留物を熱硬化させることを含む。
重量部で表現された表1に示す成分を含むサイジング組成物を調製する。
容器中に、強く撹拌しながら、水(最終組成物の約80%)、水素化糖(マルチトールシロップ)、クエン酸、次亜リン酸ナトリウム(触媒)、防塵性オイルエマルジョン、シリコーンエマルジョン、そして、1−フェノキシ−2−エタノールを導入することによりサイジング組成物を調製する。
本発明により調製したサンプル2の厚さ回復率は、参照サンプルの90日後の厚さ回復率よりも優れた厚さ回復率を示し、一方、比較サンプル1の厚さ回復率は参照サンプルの厚さ回復率よりも約2%〜3%低いことが判る。
Claims (15)
- 以下を含む、ミネラルウール系絶縁製品用の水性サイジング組成物:
(a)水素化糖、還元糖、非還元糖及びそれらの混合物から選ばれる少なくとも1種の炭水化物、
(b)少なくとも1種のポリカルボン酸又はそのような酸の塩若しくは酸無水物、
(c)成分(a)及び(b)の総計に対して1〜25重量%の、酸又は塩基官能基を含まずかつオクタノール/水分配係数(Log Kow)が1〜3である、少なくとも1種の脂肪族、脂環式又は芳香族モノアルコール。 - 前記モノアルコール(c)の濃度は、成分(a)及び(b)の総計に対して、1.5重量%〜10重量%、好ましくは2重量%〜8重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記オクタノール/水分配係数は、1.05〜2.0、好ましくは1.1〜1.5であることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の組成物。
- 前記モノアルコールは、脂肪族モノアルコール及び脂環式モノアルコールから選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記モノアルコールは、少なくとも1つの芳香環を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記モノアルコールは、2−フェノキシエタノールであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリカルボン酸は、ポリカルボン酸モノマーであることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリカルボン酸は、クエン酸であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭水化物中の水素化糖の割合は、25重量%〜100重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭水化物は、少なくとも30重量%、好ましくは少なくとも50重量%、特に少なくとも70重量%の水素化糖を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記水素化糖は、単糖類、二糖類、オリゴ糖及び多糖類の水素化生成物並びにそれらの混合物から選ばれることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記水素化糖は、デンプン加水分解物の水素化した生成物であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 前記成分(a)及び(b)は、各々独立して、サイジング組成物の固形分の30〜70重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 以下を含む、ミネラルウール系の絶縁製品の製造方法:
−請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載の水性サイジング組成物をミネラルウール繊維に適用すること、
−前記水性サイジング組成物の溶媒相を蒸発させ、そして前記組成物の非揮発性残留物を熱硬化させること。 - 請求項14に記載の方法によって得られた、防音性及び/又は断熱性製品。
