Description
Claims (8)
- 前後方向に延びる出力軸を有するモータの動力を工具支持部材に伝達する作業機であって、
前記モータを収容するモータケースと、前記モータケースから下側に延びるグリップと、を有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに収容され、前記モータの回転に伴って回転して前記ハウジング外の空気を前記ハウジング内へ吸い込む冷却ファンと、
前記モータの動力を前記工具支持部材に伝達する動力伝達装置と、
前記モータケースの前方に位置し前記モータケースに対して回転不能であり、前記動力伝達装置を収容したケースと、
前記ハウジングに設けられ、かつ、前記ケースの下側の少なくとも一部を覆うよう前記モータケースから前方に延出する延出部と、
前記ハウジングとは別に設けられ、前記ケースを覆うプロテクタと、
前記ケースの下側の外面と前記延出部との間に設けられ、かつ、前記冷却ファンによって吸い込まれた前記空気が通る冷却通路と、
前記ケースの外面と前記プロテクタの内面との間に設けられ、前記冷却通路とつながり、かつ、前記冷却ファンによって吸い込まれた前記空気が前記ケースの外面に沿って流れる通路と、を有する、作業機。
- 前記プロテクタの厚み方向に貫通するように設けられ、かつ、前記冷却ファンによって前記ハウジング内に吸い込まれて前記冷却通路及び前記通路を通った前記空気を前記プロテクタの外に排出する排気口を有する、請求項1に記載の作業機。
- 前記モータケースと前記プロテクタとの間に設けられ、かつ、前記冷却ファンによって前記ハウジング内に吸い込まれて前記冷却通路及び前記通路を通った前記空気を前記プロテクタの外に排出する排気口を有する、請求項1または2に記載の作業機。
- 前記モータの回転を制御するインバータ回路を備えたインバータ回路基板が設けられ、
前記冷却通路は、前記冷却ファンを設けた箇所及び前記インバータ回路基板を設けた箇所の少なくとも一方につながっている、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の作業機。 - 前記インバータ回路基板は前記冷却通路における前記空気の流れ方向で前記モータよりも上流に配置されると共に、前記ケースは前記空気の流れ方向で前記モータよりも下流に配置されている、請求項4に記載の作業機。
- 前記延出部に、前記工具支持部材の前方を照らす照明装置が設けられ、
前記冷却通路は、前記出力軸の回転中心となる軸線の径方向で、前記ケースと前記照明装置との間に形成され、
前記冷却通路に、前記照明装置に電力を供給する電線が配置されている、請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の作業機。 - 前記冷却通路は、前記ケースと、前記延出部に設けた壁と、の間に形成され、
前記延出部は、
前記延出部の内外をつなぎ、前記冷却通路内の前記空気を前記延出部の外に排出する排気口と、
前記延出部の内外をつなぎ、前記延出部の外の前記空気を前記冷却通路内に吸気する通気口と、
のいずれか一方を有する、請求項1に記載の作業機。 - 前記ハウジングに設けられ、前記ハウジング外の空気を前記ハウジング内に吸い込む通気口を有し、
前記冷却ファンによって前記通気口から前記ハウジング内に吸い込まれた空気が、前記モータケース内、前記冷却通路及び前記通路を通り、前記排気口から排出されるように構成した、請求項2または3に記載の作業機。
