Description
本願は2013年6月28日出願の米国特許出願第61/840,533号に対する優先権を主張し、これは参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は概して薬物送達装置に関し、より具体的には、薬剤を個別のボーラスで患者に送達するように構成されたパッチ式ポンプとして装着され得る薬物注入装置に関する。開示される装置は、無線テレメトリを介して遠隔装置からの命令を受信することができ、遠隔指示をロックアウト、すなわち遮断するための安全保護装置を含む。
(1) 医療用注入装置であって、
近位端部、遠位端部、及び内部の空洞を有するハウジングと、
前記空洞内に薬剤カートリッジを受容するための前記ハウジングの前記遠位端部の開口部であって、前記薬剤カートリッジが、開放された近位端部及びルアーに取り外し可能に接続するように構成された遠位端部を有する円筒状のハウジング、並びに前記円筒状のハウジングの前記近位端部に挿入するように構成されたプランジャを備える、開口部と、
前記プランジャを前記薬剤カートリッジの前記円筒状のハウジング内に付勢するように構成されたプッシャーロッドであって、前記プッシャーロッドが少なくとも1つの回転防止ガイド及びねじ付きブッシングを備える、プッシャーロッドと、
ねじ付き軸であって、前記ねじ付き軸が前記ねじ付きブッシングに螺着可能に係合することにより、前記ねじ付き軸が回転する時に前記プッシャーロッドの直線運動を引き起こすように構成された、ねじ付き軸と、
前記ねじ付き軸に機械的に連結した制御ギヤと、
前記制御ギヤに機械的に連結したダイヤルと、
ラチェット爪であって、前記ラチェット爪が係合した時に前記制御ギヤの回転を抑止するよう前記制御ギヤを解放可能に係合するように構成された、ラチェット爪と、を備え、
前記医療用注入装置と無線通信を行う遠隔制御装置によって前記ラチェット爪が解放可能に係合される、医療用注入装置。
(2) 前記ダイヤルを回転させるように、前記ラチェット爪が前記制御ギヤから取り外される、実施態様1に記載の医療用注入装置。
(3) 前記制御ギヤが、前記ダイヤルを個別の増分で回すことを可能にする傾斜歯部を備える、実施態様2に記載の医療用注入装置。
(4) 各個別の増分が、前記プッシャーロッドの個別の直線運動量に対応する、実施態様3に記載の医療用注入装置。
(5) 前記ラチェット爪と機械的に連結したモータ及びトーションばねを備える、実施態様4に記載の医療用注入装置。
(7) 前記RF受信機とRF通信するように構成された遠隔制御装置を備える、実施態様6に記載の医療用注入装置。
(8) 前記遠隔制御装置が表示画面及び少なくとも1つのデータ入力キーを備える、実施態様7に記載の医療用注入装置。
(9) 前記制御ギヤ、前記プッシャー、及び前記プランジャのうちの少なくとも1つの位置を感知するための1つ又は複数のセンサを備える、実施態様1に記載の医療用注入装置。
(10) 使用者が、前記遠隔制御装置の前記少なくとも1つのデータ入力キーを用いて所望の用量を入力する、実施態様8に記載の医療用注入装置。
(12) 前記ダイヤルが、前記所望の用量と等しい個別の増分の数を回され得る、実施態様11に記載の医療用注入装置。
(13) 前記ダイヤルが、前記所望の用量と等しい前記個別の増分の数を回された後に、前記遠隔制御装置が前記ラチェット爪に係合する、実施態様12に記載の医療用注入装置。
(14) 前記プランジャが前記プッシャーによって前記薬剤カートリッジ内の所定の位置へと付勢された時に、前記少なくとも1つのセンサが前記遠隔制御装置にRF信号を送信するように構成される、実施態様13に記載の医療用注入装置。
(15) 前記ねじ付き軸が回転している時に前記回転防止ガイドが前記プッシャーロッドの回転を抑止する、実施態様1に記載の医療用注入装置。
Claims (15)
- 医療用注入装置であって、
近位端部、遠位端部、及び内部の空洞を有するハウジングと、
前記空洞内に薬剤カートリッジを受容するための前記ハウジングの前記遠位端部の開口部であって、前記薬剤カートリッジが、開放された近位端部及びカートリッジキャップに取り外し可能に接続するように構成された遠位端部を有する円筒状のハウジング、並びに前記円筒状のハウジングの前記近位端部に挿入するように構成されたプランジャを備える、開口部と、
前記プランジャを前記薬剤カートリッジの前記円筒状のハウジング内に付勢するように構成されたプッシャーロッドであって、前記プッシャーロッドが少なくとも1つの回転防止ガイド及びねじ付きブッシングを備える、プッシャーロッドと、
ねじ付き軸であって、前記ねじ付き軸が前記ねじ付きブッシングに螺着可能に係合することにより、前記ねじ付き軸が回転する時に前記プッシャーロッドの直線運動を引き起こすように構成された、ねじ付き軸と、
前記ねじ付き軸に機械的に連結した制御ギヤと、
前記制御ギヤに機械的に連結したダイヤルと、
ラチェット爪であって、前記ラチェット爪が係合した時に前記制御ギヤの回転を抑止するよう前記制御ギヤを解放可能に係合するように構成された、ラチェット爪と、を備え、

- 前記ダイヤルが、前記所望の用量と等しい前記個別の増分の数を回された後に、前記遠隔制御装置が前記ラチェット爪に係合する、請求項12に記載の医療用注入装置。
- 前記プランジャが前記プッシャーロッドによって前記薬剤カートリッジ内の所定の位置へと付勢された時に、前記少なくとも1つのセンサが前記遠隔制御装置にRF信号を送信するように構成される、請求項13に記載の医療用注入装置。
- 前記ねじ付き軸が回転している時に前記回転防止ガイドが前記プッシャーロッドの回転を抑止する、請求項1に記載の医療用注入装置。
