Description

The present invention relates to a stopper mounting structure for mounting a rubber stopper member on a vehicle.

Vehicle suspension devices are provided with suspension members such as axles and lower arms. The suspension member moves so as to approach the vehicle body when the wheel rides on a step. In order to stop the suspension member from hitting the vehicle body when the movement of the suspension member becomes large, a rubber stopper member is provided on the vehicle body side frame located above the suspension member (see Patent Document 1).

Patent Document 1 discloses a bound stopper having a cup-shaped main body fitting attached to the lower surface of the vehicle body side frame and a rubber elastic body portion bonded to the main body fitting. The rubber elastic body portion abuts against the lower arm and cushions so that the lower arm does not move excessively and collide with the frame.

By the way, a weld bead extends along the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body side frame on the lower surface of the vehicle body side frame. The bound stopper disclosed in Patent Literature 1 may not be attached when a weld bead is provided on the lower surface of the vehicle body side frame. Further, if the weld bead is omitted to attach the bound stopper, the desired strength of the vehicle body side frame may not be obtained.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a technique for attaching a stopper member corresponding to the position of a weld bead formed on a frame on the vehicle body side.

In order to solve the above problems, a stopper mounting structure according to an aspect of the present invention includes a vehicle body side frame having a fixed surface formed in a longitudinal shape, a weld bead extending in the longitudinal direction on the fixed surface, and a fixed surface. A mounting member having a mounting portion to be fixed and a supporting portion facing away from the fixing surface, and a support having a substantially U-shaped cross section and provided between the fixing surface and the supporting portion and facing the fixing portion A first U-shaped member and a second U-shaped member fixed to the opposing surface of the portion, and a rubber stopper member provided to protrude from the surface on the opposite side of the opposing surface in the support portion. Each of the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member includes a first wall portion that abuts on the fixed surface and a second wall portion that is opposed to the first wall portion and is fixed to the facing surface. The first wall portion of the first U-shaped member and the first wall portion of the second U-shaped member are spaced apart from each other with the weld bead interposed therebetween.

According to this aspect, since the first wall portion of the first U-shaped member and the first wall portion of the second U-shaped member are in contact with the vehicle body side frame and spaced apart with the weld bead interposed therebetween, the first U-shaped member is disposed. The member and the second U-shaped member can be prevented from interfering with the weld bead, and the load from the stopper member can be received. Further, since the rigidity of the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member can be changed, the stopper mounting structure can be easily designed to have a desired rigidity.

ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the technique which attaches a stopper member corresponding to the position of the weld bead formed in the frame by the side of a vehicle body can be provided.

It is a figure which shows the stopper attachment structure provided in a vehicle. 2A shows a cross section of line AA of the stopper mounting structure shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2B shows a cross section of line B B of the stopper mounting structure shown in FIG. It is. It is a figure for demonstrating the stopper attachment structure of a comparison technique.

FIG. 1 shows a stopper mounting structure 10 provided in a vehicle. The stopper mounting structure 10 is provided on the vehicle body side in order to receive excessive movement of a suspension member (not shown), and includes a frame 12, a mounting member 14, a stopper member 16, a first U-shaped member 18, and a second U-shaped member.

The suspension member received by the stopper mounting structure 10 is an axle if it is an axle suspension type suspension device, and is a lower arm if it is an independent suspension type suspension device. The axle-suspended axle moves upward when the wheel climbs a step and approaches the frame 12 on the vehicle body side. At this time, when the axle excessively approaches the frame 12, the stopper member 16 of the stopper mounting structure 10 comes into contact with the axle to prevent the vehicle body side frame 12 from colliding with the axle.

The frame 12 extends in the vehicle width direction and the vehicle front-rear direction, and forms a skeleton of the vehicle. The frame 12 is formed in a rectangular cross section by welding two members.

The attachment member 14 is provided to attach the stopper member 16 to the frame 12. The attachment member 14 has a pair of attachment part 14a, the support part 14b, and the side part 14c. The pair of attachment portions 14a are plate-like and are fixed to the lower fixing surface of the frame 12 by screw members.

The support portion 14b is a flat plate, is positioned between the pair of attachment portions 14a, and faces away from the fixed surface of the frame 12. The side portion 14c rises from the attachment portion 14a and continues to the opposing portion 14b to connect the attachment portion 14a and the support portion 14b. The support part 14b and the side part 14c are formed so as to protrude from the attachment part 14a.

The stopper member 16 is made of rubber, has elasticity, is formed in a columnar shape, and has a curved surface at the tip. The seating surface 16 a of the stopper member 16 is vulcanized and bonded to the lower support surface of the support portion 14 b of the mounting member 14. The stopper member 16 protrudes downward from the support portion 14 b and protrudes away from the frame 12. The stopper member 16 relieves excessive movement of the suspension member.

The support portion 14b of the mounting member 14 is separated from the frame 12, and in order to improve the load resistance of the stopper mounting structure 10 against the load input from the stopper member 16, the first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member (not shown) Is provided between the mounting member 14 and the frame 12. The first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member abut against the mounting member 14 and the frame 12, receive a load input to the stopper member 16, and increase the rigidity of the stopper mounting structure 10.

2A shows a cross section taken along line AA of the stopper mounting structure 10 shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2B shows a cross section taken along line BB of the stopper mounting structure 10 shown in FIG. Show. The X direction shown in FIG. 2A is the width direction of the frame 12, and the Y direction is the vertical direction. The longitudinal direction of the frame 12 is orthogonal to the width direction and the vertical direction.

As shown in FIG. 2A, the frame 12 is formed to have a rectangular cross section by connecting the first member 26 and the second member 28. The first member 26 and the second member 28 are long like rails.

The first member 26 and the second member 28 each have a substantially U-shaped cross section, and are joined by welding so as to close the opening. The first fixing surface 26 a of the first member 26 and the second fixing surface 28 a of the second member 28 partially overlap to constitute the lower surface of the frame 12. As shown in FIG. 2B, as a result of welding, the weld bead 24 remains at a position below the first member 26 and the second member 28. The weld bead 24 extends along the longitudinal direction of the frame 12. The weld bead 24 is formed along the longitudinal direction of the frame 12 but is not formed at a position where the screw member 22 is provided.

The weld bead 24 is provided at a substantially central position on the lower surface of the frame 12 in the width direction. The first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member 20 are brought into contact with the frame 12 while avoiding the weld beads 24. Here, the stopper mounting structure of the comparative technique will be described with reference to a new drawing.

FIG. 3 is a view for explaining the stopper mounting structure 100 of the comparative technique. The stopper mounting structure 100 of the comparative technique shown in FIG. 3A differs from the stopper mounting structure 10 shown in FIG. 2B in the shape of the frame 112 and the position of the weld bead 124.

The stopper member 16 is fixed to the frame 112 by the attachment member 14. A bracket 118 is provided between the frame 112 and the mounting member 14 and receives a load input to the stopper member 16.

As shown in FIG. 3A, the frame 112 is formed to have a rectangular cross section by coupling the first member 126 and the second member 128. The lower surface of the frame 112 is substantially formed by the fixed surface 128a of the second member 128 and is flat. The weld bead 124 is positioned at the end of the frame 112 in the width direction, and a surface on which the bracket 118 abuts on the fixed surface 128a of the second member 128 is secured. As described above, when the first member 126 and the second member 128 are welded at the ends in the width direction, it is difficult to stabilize the welding quality such as the uniformity of the waveform, the width, and the height. Therefore, in the frame 12 of the embodiment, the frame 12 is welded at a substantially central position in the width direction to stabilize the welding quality.

As shown in FIG. 3B, when the frame 12 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 2B is applied to the comparison technique, the weld bead 24 at the substantially central position on the lower surface of the frame 12 is transferred to the frame 112 of the bracket 118. Inhibits the contact.

Returning to FIG. The 1st U-shaped member 18 and the 2nd U-shaped member 20 are arrange | positioned away on both sides of the weld bead 24, and the surface which contacts the lower surface of the flame | frame 12 is ensured, avoiding the weld bead 24.

The first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member 20 include a first fixed surface 26 a and a second fixed surface 28 a (referred to as a “fixed surface” if they are not distinguished from each other) and a support portion 14 b of the mounting member 14. Between. The first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member 20 are arranged so as to open outward in the width direction, thereby facilitating welding work.

The first U-shaped member 18 has a first wall portion 18a, a second wall portion 18b, and a third wall portion 18c, and has a substantially U-shaped cross section. The first wall portion 18a and the second wall portion 18b face each other and are substantially parallel. The third wall portion 18c connects the first wall portion 18a and the second wall portion 18b.

The 2nd U-shaped member 20 has the 1st wall part 20a, the 2nd wall part 20b, and the 3rd wall part 20c, and a cross section is formed in a substantially U shape. The first wall portion 20a and the second wall portion 20b face each other and are substantially parallel. The third wall portion 20c connects the first wall portion 20a and the second wall portion 20b.

The first wall portion 18 a of the first U-shaped member 18 contacts the first fixed surface 26 a of the frame 12, and the first wall portion 20 a of the second U-shaped member 20 contacts the second fixed surface 28 a of the frame 12. The first wall portion 18 a of the first U-shaped member 18 and the first wall portion 20 a of the second U-shaped member 20 are located apart from each other with the weld bead 24 interposed therebetween. Thereby, the clearance gap which forms the weld bead 24 is securable, making the 1st U-shaped member 18 and the 2nd U-shaped member 20 contact | abut to the flame | frame 12. The first wall portion 18a and the first wall portion 20a may not be fixed, but may be fixed to the first fixing surface 26a and the second fixing surface 28a of the frame 12 by welding, or may be fixed by a screw member. .

The second wall portion 18b of the first U-shaped member 18 and the second wall portion 20b of the second U-shaped member 20 are welded to the opposing surface of the support portion 14b of the mounting member 14. The second wall portion 18b and the second wall portion 20b are fixed to the attachment member 14 by welding before the attachment member 14 is attached to the frame 12. The third wall portion 18c of the first U-shaped member 18 and the third wall portion 20c of the second U-shaped member 20 are opposed to each other and are arranged substantially in parallel.

The first fixing surface 26a and the second fixing surface 28a of the frame 12 are stepped because they overlap, but the height of the third wall portion 18c and the third wall portion 20c is changed so that the first U-shaped member 18 is By making the second U-shaped member 20 abut the second fixed surface 28a on the first fixed surface 26a, it is possible to cope with a step.

The stopper member 16 is disposed at a position close to the left wheel and a position close to the right wheel. When both the left and right wheels ride on the step, the axle contacts the stopper member 16 in the vertical direction, and when one of the left and right wheels rides on the step, the axle contacts the stopper member 16 in an oblique direction. In this way, a load is input to the stopper member 16 from different directions. In order to set the optimum rigidity of the stopper mounting structure 10 with respect to loads in different directions, the thickness and material of the first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member 20 can be made different so that the design is easy. it can.

It is to be understood by those skilled in the art that the embodiments are merely examples, and that various modifications can be made to combinations of the constituent elements, and that such modifications are within the scope of the present invention.

In the embodiment, the first U-shaped member 18 and the second U-shaped member 20 are disposed so as to open outward in the width direction, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
