Description
表1は、「標準的」スパカバー構造の構成要素層を提供する。図1は、構造の視覚的指示を提供するために、かかるスパカバーの断面を例証する。スパカバー10は、残りの構成要素の周囲の囲いとして、ビニル及びポリエステルマリンビニル被覆20を備える。熱絶縁性コア30は、21.6キログラム毎立方メートルの密度を有するEPS発泡体(即ち、成形ビーズ板)である。熱絶縁性コア30の上部及び下部の両方の上には、0.015センチメートル(6ミル)厚のポリエチレンフィルム蒸気バリア40が存在する。
表2は、本発明の熱絶縁性スパカバー構造の構成要素層を提供する。成形ビード板熱絶縁性層の透過性は、この構造に関して比較実施例Aよりも高く、これは、それが熱絶縁性コアを通る及び/またはその周囲の蒸気透過性を促進する通気経路の存在を考慮するためである。通気経路は、それらが下ポリエチレンフィルム層と高透過性上カバーとの間に指定の透過性値に対応する平均透過率を提供する限り、熱絶縁性コアの周囲またはそれを通って存在し得る。
(態様1)
絶縁スパカバーであって、
(a)対向する上主面及び下主面を有する熱絶縁性コアと、
(b)前記熱絶縁性コアの前記上主面上に延在し、それを完全に覆う上カバーであって、前記上カバーが、ASTM E96デシカント法に従って決定されるときに、前記上カバー全体にわたり少なくとも57.2ナノグラム/パスカル×秒×平方メートルの平均透過率を有し、前記上カバーの任意の10平方センチメートルの部分が、AATCC−127に従って決定されるときに、少なくとも5,000パスカルの静水頭試験値を有する、上カバーと、
(c)前記熱絶縁性コアの前記下主面に近接し、その少なくとも75%を覆う蒸気バリア層であって、前記蒸気バリア層が、ASTM E96デシカント法に従って決定されるときに、前記上カバーよりも高い平均透過率を有する、前記蒸気バリア層と、
(d)任意に、前記蒸気バリアの他に下シートと、を備え、
(i)存在する場合は前記下シートが、またそうでない場合は前記蒸気バリア層が、前記上カバーに取着されて前記熱絶縁性コアを取り囲む囲いを形成する下カバーとして機能し、前記下カバーが前記蒸気バリアから分離されている場合、前記囲いは、前記熱絶縁性コアと前記下カバーとの間の前記蒸気バリア層をさらに取り囲み、
(ii)通気経路が、前記上カバー及び下カバーによって形成される前記囲い内に画定され、前記通気経路が、前記下カバーの平均透過率よりも大きい透過率を有する、前記下カバーの内側から前記上カバーまでの蒸気路を提供し、
(iii)前記絶縁スパカバーが対向する上主面及び下主面を有し、前記下主面が、前記2つの面のうち前記熱絶縁性コアの前記下主面及び前記絶縁スパカバーが覆うスパの水に最も近接する、前記絶縁スパカバー。
(態様2)
ASTM E96デシカント法によって決定されるときに、57.2ナノグラム毎パスカル×秒×平方メートルから22,300ナノグラム毎パスカル×秒×平方メートルの範囲の平均透過率を有する前記上カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1に記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様3)
前記熱絶縁性コアの前記上主面及び前記熱絶縁性コアの1つ以上の副面を完全に覆う前記上カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1または2のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様4)
ポリマー性発泡体である前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜3のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様5)
膨張ポリスチレン発泡体及び押出ポリスチレン発泡体から選択される前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜4のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様6)
前記熱絶縁性コア内の溝若しくはチャネル、前記下カバーと前記熱絶縁性コアとの間の蒸気透過性材料、またはその両方によって画定される前記通気経路によってさらに特徴付けられ、前記蒸気透過性材料が、前記上カバーよりも大きい平均透過率を有する、態様1〜5のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様7)
前記熱絶縁性コアを完全に通り、前記下主面及び前記上主面の両方を通って延在する穿孔または他の開口がない前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜6のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様8)
前記上カバー及び下カバーによって形成される前記囲い内に前記熱絶縁性コアの周囲に通気経路を画定するように、主面及び副面から延在する突起を有する前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜7のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様9)
前記蒸気バリア層、及び存在する場合は下シートが、臭素、塩素、及びオゾンに化学的耐性を有することによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜8のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
(態様10)
ポリマー性であり、一緒に溶融溶接されて前記囲いを形成する前記上カバー及び下カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、態様1〜9のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
Claims (10)
- 絶縁スパカバーであって、
(a)対向する上主面及び下主面を有する熱絶縁性コアと、
(b)前記熱絶縁性コアの前記上主面上に延在し、それを完全に覆う上カバーであって、前記上カバーが、ASTM E96デシカント法に従って決定されるときに、前記上カバー全体にわたり少なくとも57.2ナノグラム/パスカル×秒×平方メートルの平均透過率を有し、
前記上カバーの任意の10平方センチメートルの部分が、AATCC−127に従って決定されるときに、少なくとも5,000パスカルの静水頭試験値を有する、上カバーと、
(c)前記熱絶縁性コアの前記下主面に近接し、その少なくとも75%を覆う蒸気バリア層であって、前記蒸気バリア層が、ASTM E96デシカント法に従って決定されるときに、前記上カバーよりも低い平均透過率を有する、前記蒸気バリア層と、
(d)任意に、前記蒸気バリアの他に下シートと、を備え、
(i)存在する場合は前記下シートが、またそうでない場合は前記蒸気バリア層が、前記上カバーに取着されて前記熱絶縁性コアを取り囲む囲いを形成する下カバーとして機能し、前記下カバーが前記蒸気バリアから分離されている場合、前記囲いは、前記熱絶縁性コアと前記下カバーとの間の前記蒸気バリア層をさらに取り囲み、
(ii)通気経路が、前記上カバー及び下カバーによって形成される前記囲い内に画定され、前記通気経路が、前記下カバーの平均透過率よりも大きい透過率を有する、前記下カバーの内側から前記上カバーまでの蒸気路を提供し、
(iii)前記絶縁スパカバーが対向する上主面及び下主面を有し、前記下主面が、前記2つの面のうち前記熱絶縁性コアの前記下主面及び前記絶縁スパカバーが覆うスパの水に最も近接する、前記絶縁スパカバー。 - ASTM E96デシカント法によって決定されるときに、57.2ナノグラム毎パスカル×秒×平方メートルから22,300ナノグラム毎パスカル×秒×平方メートルの範囲の平均透過率を有する前記上カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1に記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 前記熱絶縁性コアの前記上主面及び前記熱絶縁性コアの1つ以上の副面を完全に覆う前記上カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- ポリマー性発泡体である前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 膨張ポリスチレン発泡体及び押出ポリスチレン発泡体から選択される前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 前記熱絶縁性コア内の溝若しくはチャネル、前記下カバーと前記熱絶縁性コアとの間の蒸気透過性材料、またはその両方によって画定される前記通気経路によってさらに特徴付けられ前記蒸気透過性材料が、前記上カバーよりも大きい平均透過率を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 前記熱絶縁性コアを完全に通り、前記下主面及び前記上主面の両方を通って延在する穿孔または他の開口がない前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 前記上カバー及び下カバーによって形成される前記囲い内に前記熱絶縁性コアの周囲に通気経路を画定するように、主面及び副面から延在する突起を有する前記熱絶縁性コアによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- 前記蒸気バリア層、及び存在する場合は下シートが、臭素、塩素、及びオゾンに化学的耐性を有することによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
- ポリマー性であり、一緒に溶融溶接されて前記囲いを形成する前記上カバー及び下カバーによってさらに特徴付けられる、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の絶縁スパカバー。
