Description
従来から一般に使用されているジルコニア・カーボン材質を用いて、モールドパウダーの塩基度を変更したときの溶損量を評価した。評価結果を、表1に示す。ここでは、評価用の従来のジルコニア・カーボン材質として、後述する比較例1のジルコニア・カーボン材質を使用している。
(実施例)
以下に実施例及び比較例を提示して、本発明の連続鋳造用浸漬ノズルに適用されるジルコニア・カーボン材質を説明する。
Claims (3)
- モールドパウダーと接触する部位に、ジルコニア原料とカーボン原料からなるジルコニア・カーボン材質を備える連続鋳造用浸漬ノズルであって、
前記ジルコニア・カーボン材質は、
ジルコニア原料とカーボン原料の合量に占める割合で10質量%以上かつ25質量%以下(ただし、25質量%を除く)のカーボン原料と、
ジルコニア原料とカーボン原料の合量に占める割合で75質量%以上(ただし、75質量%を除く)かつ90質量%以下のジルコニア原料と、
を含み、
前記ジルコニア原料が安定化剤として質量比で0.5質量%以上かつ3.0質量%以下のCaOのみを含有し、
前記ジルコニア原料の粒子径100μm以上はジルコニア原料とカーボン原料の合量に占める割合で5質量%以上かつ65質量%以下である、連続鋳造用浸漬ノズル。
- 前記ジルコニア原料のうち、ジルコニア原料とカーボン原料の合量に占める割合で60質量%以下を未安定化ジルコニアに置換した、請求項1記載の連続鋳造用浸漬ノズル。
- 塩基度1.0以上のモールドパウダーを用いた鋼の連続鋳造において、請求項1又は請求項2記載の連続鋳造用浸漬ノズルを使用する、鋼の連続鋳造方法。
