Description
ゴム組成物を、表1に示された成分を用いて調製した。表1に示される、ゴム組成物を構成する各成分の量は、ゴム100重量部当たりの重量部(phr)で提供されている。fSBRは、アミン基を用いて官能化し、樹脂はC5C9樹脂であり、シランカップリング剤はSi69であり、可塑化油はAGRI−PURE 80であり、カーボンブラックはN234であり、シリカはZeosil 1165であった。
表1−ゴム形成及び物理的特性
ゴム組成物W1及びF6を使用してタイヤを構築した。W1から形成されたトレッドを有する1つの比較タイヤC1は、8.2mmのトレッド厚さを有し、9mmの平均ショルダートレッドブロック長さ及び平均中央トレッドブロック長さを有した。F6から形成された本発明のタイヤT1は、7mmのトレッド厚さを有し、16mmの平均ショルダートレッドブロック長さ及び8.2mmの平均中央トレッドブロック長さを有した。横方向溝はなく、サイプは、完全な深さ、すなわち、ウェアバーの深さまでであった。構造的に発明的であるが、証拠材料から作製される第2の比較タイヤT2を構築した。タイヤを、上で提供された手順に従って、マウントし、試験した。結果を表2に提供する。

Claims (20)
- 横方向及び縦方向を画定するタイヤのトレッドであって、
ショルダー縦方向溝によって分離される中央部分及びショルダー部分と、
横方向中央サイプ及び横方向中央溝からなる中央横方向要素によって形成される、前記中央部分に位置する複数の中央トレッドブロックであって、前記横方向中央溝の数が、前記中央横方向要素の全体の10%以下である、複数の中央トレッドブロックと、
横方向ショルダーサイプ及び横方向ショルダー溝からなるショルダー横方向要素によって形成される、前記ショルダー部分に位置する複数のショルダートレッドブロックであって、前記横方向ショルダー溝の数が、前記ショルダー横方向要素の全体の35%以下であり、前記中央及びショルダートレッドブロックが、前記トレッドの周囲で周方向に配置され、前記中央トレッドブロックが、6.5mm〜10mmの平均中央トレッドブロック長さを有し、前記ショルダートレッドブロックが、10mm〜20mmの平均ショルダートレッドブロック長さを有する、複数のショルダートレッドブロックと、を備え、
前記トレッドが、6.5mm〜7.7mmの前記中央部分のトレッド厚さを有し、架橋性ゴム組成物に基づくゴム組成物で少なくとも一部が形成され、前記架橋性ゴム組成物が、100重量部のゴム当たり(phr)、
50phr〜100phrの官能化スチレン−ブタジエンゴム(SBR)及び0phr〜50phrのポリブタジエンゴムから選択される100phrのゴムであって、前記官能化SBRが、活性部分として結合する官能基を含む、100phrのゴムと、
少なくとも25℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有する可塑化樹脂及び可塑化液体を含む可塑化系であって、前記ゴム組成物に−30℃〜−15℃のガラス転移温度及び0.9MPa〜1.15MPaの60℃での動的弾性率G*を提供するのに有効な量で添加される、可塑化系と、
95phr〜125phrのシリカ充填剤と、
硫黄硬化系と、を含む、トレッド。 - 前記100phrのゴムが、50phr〜85phrの前記官能化スチレン−ブタジエンゴム(SBR)及び15phr〜50phrの前記ポリブタジエンゴムから選択される、請求項1に記載のトレッド。
- 前記トレッドが、全体的に前記ゴム組成物から形成される、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記トレッドの前記中央部分に横方向溝がない、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記トレッドの前記ショルダー部分に横方向溝がない、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記中央部分に位置する前記横方向サイプの少なくとも80%が、それらの全体の横方向長さにわたってウェアバー深さの少なくとも90%の深さまで延在する、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記中央部分に位置する前記横方向サイプの少なくとも80%が、それらの全体の横方向長さにわたってウェアバー深さの少なくとも100%の深さまで延在する、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記ショルダー部分に位置する前記横方向サイプの少なくとも80%が、それらの全体の横方向長さにわたってウェアバー深さの少なくとも90%の深さまで延在する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記ショルダー部分に位置する前記横方向サイプの少なくとも80%が、それらの全体の横方向長さにわたってウェアバー深さの少なくとも100%の深さまで延在する、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記ショルダー部分及び前記中央部分の両方に位置する前記横方向サイプの少なくとも90%が、それらの全体の長さにわたって前記縦方向溝の底面の少なくとも90%の深さまで延在する、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記トレッド厚さが、6.5mm〜7.3mmである、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記平均中央トレッドブロック長さが、6.8mm〜9mmである、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記平均ショルダートレッドブロック長さが、11mm〜19mmである、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記横方向中央サイプが、横方向から45度までの角度で配置される、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記横方向中央サイプが、横方向から30度〜45度の角度で配置される、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記横方向中央サイプが、横方向から35度〜40度の角度で配置される、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記中央横方向サイプ、前記ショルダー横方向サイプ、またはそれらの組み合わせの少なくとも一部分が、トレッド面に対して面取りされた開口を有する、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記官能化SBRが、30重量%〜70重量%のトランス−1,4含有量を有する、請求項1〜17のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
- 前記官能基が、アミノ部分、シラノール部分、アルコキシシラン部分、カルボキシ部分、ポリエーテル部分、またはそれらの組み合わせから選択される、請求項1〜18のいずれかに記載のトレッド。
