Description
図1は、移動(セルラ)通信システム1を概略的に示しており、そのシステムでは、複数の移動通信デバイス3−1、3−2、3−3、3−4のうちのいずれかのユーザが、複数の基地局5、6−1、6−2、6−3及び6−4のうちの1つ又は複数を介して、他のユーザと通信することができる。図1に示されるシステムでは、図示される各基地局5、6は、マルチキャリア環境において動作することができる発展型ユニバーサル地上波無線アクセスネットワーク(E−UTRAN)基地局である。
図2は、図1に示す基地局5、6の主要な構成要素を示すブロック図である。基地局5、6は、トランシーバ回路31を備えるE−UTRANマルチキャリア対応基地局から成り、このトランシーバ回路は、少なくとも1つのアンテナ33を介して信号を移動通信デバイス3に対して送受信するように動作可能である。基地局5、6は、ネットワークインターフェース35を介して(必要に応じて、スモールセル基地局(図示せず)の場合にはスモールセルゲートウェイ等を介してもよい)コアネットワークに対して、及び基地局(又はいわゆる「X2」)インターフェース36を介して近傍の他の基地局5、6に対して、信号を送受信するように動作可能でもある。トランシーバ回路31の動作は、メモリ39に記憶されたソフトウェアに従ってコントローラ37によって制御される。
図3は、図1に示される移動通信デバイス3の主要構成要素を示すブロック図である。各移動通信デバイス3は、マルチキャリア環境において動作することができる移動(又は「セル」電話)から成る。移動通信デバイス3は、少なくとも1つのアンテナ53を介して、基地局5、6との間で信号を送受信するように動作可能であるトランシーバ回路51を備える。トランシーバ回路51の動作は、メモリ59内に記憶されたソフトウェアに従ってコントローラ57によって制御される。
ここで、この例示的な実施形態において発見信号が構成される方法を、一例にすぎないが、図4〜図15を参照しながら更に詳細に説明する。
詳細な例示的な実施形態を上記で説明した。これらの実施形態では、提案される発見信号の独自の構造を説明し、特に、1つの無線フレームの提案される発見信号は、構成可能な周期、例えば、200個、500個又は1000個のサブフレーム/無線フレームで繰返され得る。当業者であれば理解するように、上記の実施形態及び変形形態において具現化される本発明から依然として利益を得ながら、上記の実施形態及び変形形態に対し複数の変更及び代替を行うことができる。
Claims (8)
- 移動局と通信を行う基地局において実施される方法であって、
前記移動局へ、複数の周期のなかから選択された周期であって複数の10msの無線フレームから成る前記周期を含む信号を送信し、
前記周期に基づいて、5msから1msの間の連続するサブフレームにおいて発見信号を送信し、
前記発見信号は、プライマリ同期信号と、セカンダリ同期信号と、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための信号とからなる方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための前記信号に基づいた測定結果を受信する方法。
- 請求項1または2記載の方法であって、前記発見信号は、前記周期の中の、所定の期間で送信される方法。
- 基地局と通信を行う移動局において実施される方法であって、
前記基地局から、複数の周期のなかから選択された周期であって複数の10msの無線フレームから成る前記周期を含む信号を受信し、
前記周期に基づいて、5msから1msの間の連続するサブフレームにおいて発見信号を受信し、
前記発見信号は、プライマリ同期信号と、セカンダリ同期信号と、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための信号とからなる方法。 - 請求項4記載の方法であって、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための前記信号に基づいた測定結果を送信する方法。
- 請求項4または5に記載の方法であって、前記発見信号は、前記周期の中の、所定の期間で送信される方法。
- 移動局と通信を行う基地局であって、
前記移動局へ、複数の周期のなかから選択された周期であって複数の10msの無線フレームから成る前記周期を含む信号を送信する手段と、
前記周期に基づいて、5msから1msの間の連続するサブフレームにおいて発見信号を送信する手段とを有し、
前記発見信号は、プライマリ同期信号と、セカンダリ同期信号と、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための信号とからなる基地局。 - 基地局と通信を行う移動局であって、
前記基地局から、複数の周期のなかから選択された周期であって複数の10msの無線フレームから成る前記周期を含む信号を受信する手段と、
前記周期に基づいて、5msから1msの間の連続するサブフレームにおいて発見信号を受信する手段とを有し、
前記発見信号は、プライマリ同期信号と、セカンダリ同期信号と、リファレンス信号受信品質(RSRQ)とリファレンス信号受信電力(RSRP)の少なくとも一つを前記移動局において測定するための信号とからなる移動局。
