Description
Claims (15)
- ネブライザの動作を制御する制御ユニットであって、前記ネブライザは、アクチュエータと、前記ネブライザから取り外し可能であり、前記アクチュエータが活性化されるとき、液体を霧状化する霧状化素子とを有し、前記霧状化素子及び前記アクチュエータは、接することなく互いに隔てられ、前記制御ユニットは、前記ネブライザの前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを測定し、前記測定されたインピーダンスと予め決められたインピーダンス値との比較に基づいて、前記ネブライザの前記霧状化素子が前記アクチュエータに対して正しく位置付けられているかどうか判定する、制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記アクチュエータの前記測定されたインピーダンスが予め決められたインピーダンス値に等しいか又は予め決められたインピーダンス値の予め決められたレンジ内にある場合に、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていると判定する、請求項1に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記アクチュエータが第1及び第2の周波数で動作している際、前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを測定し、前記測定されたインピーダンスの両方が個々の予め決められたインピーダンス値に等しいか又は予め決められたインピーダンス値の予め決められたレンジ内にある場合に、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていると判定する、請求項1に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは更に、前記霧状化素子が前記ネブライザに正しく位置付けられていると判定される場合に、液体を霧状化するように前記アクチュエータを活性化する、請求項1、2又は3に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていないと判定される場合に、前記アクチュエータを非活性化する、請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは更に、前記ネブライザのユーザに、前記霧状化素子がユーザによって位置付けし直される必要があるという標示を提供する、請求項5に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは更に、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていないと判定される場合に、前記アクチュエータの振動周波数を調整する、請求項1、2、3又は4に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは更に、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていないと判定される場合に、前記ネブライザにおける第2のアクチュエータを使用して前記アクチュエータ及び前記霧状化素子の相対位置を調整する、請求項1、2、3、4又は7に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは更に、前記調整後に前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを再び測定する、請求項7又は8に記載の制御ユニット。
- 前記制御ユニットは、
(i)特定の振幅をもつ正弦波電圧を前記アクチュエータに印加し、派生電流の振幅と、前記派生電流及び前記印加電圧の間の位相シフトと、を測定する;又は
(ii)動作中、前記アクチュエータの両端の電圧と、前記アクチュエータを通る電流とを測定する、
ことによって、前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを測定する、請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の制御ユニット。 - 霧状化されるべき液体を格納するリザーバチャンバと、
前記リザーバチャンバに格納される液体を振動させるアクチュエータと、
請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の制御ユニットと、
を有するネブライザ。 - ネブライザを制御する方法であって、前記ネブライザは、アクチュエータと、前記ネブライザから取り外し可能であり、前記アクチュエータが活性化されるとき、液体を霧状化する霧状化素子とを有し、前記霧状化素子及び前記アクチュエータは、接することなく互いに隔てられ、前記方法は、
前記ネブライザの前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを測定するステップと、
前記測定されたインピーダンスと予め決められたインピーダンス値との比較に基づいて、前記ネブライザの前記霧状化素子が前記アクチュエータに対し正しく位置付けられているかどうか判定するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記アクチュエータの前記測定されたインピーダンスが予め決められたインピーダンス値に等しいか又は予め決められたインピーダンス値の予め決められたレンジ内にある場合、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていると判定される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記測定するステップが、第1及び第2の周波数において前記アクチュエータのインピーダンスを測定することを含み、
前記判定するステップが、前記測定されたインピーダンスの両方が個々の予め決められたインピーダンス値に等しいか又は予め決められたインピーダンス値の予め決められたレンジ内にある場合に、前記霧状化素子が正しく位置付けられていると判定することを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。 - コンピュータ又はプロセッサによって実行されるとき、請求項12乃至14のいずれか1項に記載の方法の各ステップを前記コンピュータ又はプロセッサに実施させるコンピュータプログラムコードが組み込まれたコンピュータ可読媒体。
