Claims (4)
- 車両に搭載され、乗員が把持するリムに乗員の状態を検知するための左側センサ及び右側センサが装着されたステアリング本体と、少なくとも前記左側センサ及び前記右側センサからの検知信号に基づいて前記乗員の状態を検知する検知回路とを有するステアリング装置であって、
前記ステアリング本体は、
中心部に設置された芯金と、
前記芯金上にウレタン製の基材及び革部材を介して積層された左側センサ用導電膜及び右側センサ用導電膜とを有し、
前記検知回路から延びる左側ハーネスは、前記左側センサに直接又は間接的に半田付けされ、
前記検知回路から延びる右側ハーネスは、前記右側センサに直接又は間接的に半田付けされ、
前記半田付けされた部位と前記基材との間に、前記基材よりも硬質な部材が配置され、
前記検知回路から前記左側センサまでの左側ハーネスの配線長と、前記検知回路から前記右側センサまでの右側ハーネスの配線長とがほぼ同じであることを特徴とするステアリング装置。 - 請求項1記載のステアリング装置において、
前記左側ハーネスと前記右側ハーネスとは、電気的特性が同一であることを特徴とするステアリング装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載のステアリング装置において、
前記ステアリング本体は、中央スポーク、左側スポーク及び右側スポークを有し、
前記中央スポークを基準に前記左側スポークと前記右側スポークとが線対称に配置され、
前記中央スポークに前記検知回路が設置され、
前記左側ハーネスと前記左側センサとの接続部分は、前記左側スポークと前記リムとの接続部分の近傍に設定され、
前記右側ハーネスと前記右側センサとの接続部分は、前記右側スポークと前記リムとの接続部分の近傍に設定されていることを特徴とするステアリング装置。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のステアリング装置において、
前記ステアリング本体を暖めるためのヒータ部を有し、
前記ヒータ部は、ヒータを構成する導電フィルムを有し、
前記導電フィルムは、前記右側センサ及び前記左側センサと前記基材との間に配置されていることを特徴とするステアリング装置。
