Description
Claims (10)
- 導電性材料のレイヤの間に挟まれた回路ボードを含むRFモデムと、
前記RFモデムに接続され、導電性材料のレイヤの間に挟まれた回路ボードのレイヤを含むRFスイッチアレイと、
前記導電性材料のレイヤに存在する導波管を介して前記RFスイッチアレイの回路ボードに接続される複数のアンテナであって、該アンテナの第1のサブセットが第1の水平面において配置され、前記アンテナの第2のサブセットが前記第1の水平面の下に第2の水平面において配置され、前記アンテナの各サブセットの中の隣り合うアンテナが、互いから離れて間隔を空けられ、前記アンテナの一サブセットの中の2つの隣り合うアンテナ間の間隔は、前記アンテナの他のサブセットの中のアンテナによって満たされる、アンテナと、
を含むワイヤレスノード。 - 各アンテナは、ホーンであって、該ホーンの近位端において前記RFスイッチアレイに接続され、前記ホーンの遠位端において開いている、ホーンを含む、請求項1に記載のワイヤレスノード。
- 前記アンテナの各サブセットは、180度より大きい前記RFスイッチアレイの周りの弧を定義する、請求項1又は2に記載のワイヤレスノード。
- 前記アンテナは、270度より小さい前記RFスイッチアレイの周りの弧を定義する、請求項1、2又は3に記載のワイヤレスノード。
- 前記アンテナのうち半数が前記第1の水平面において位置づけられ、前記アンテナのうち半数が前記第2の水平面において位置づけられる、請求項1乃至4のうちいずれか1項に記載のワイヤレスノード。
- ワイヤレスノードを動作させる方法であって、前記ワイヤレスノードは、導電性材料のレイヤの間に挟まれた回路ボードを含むRFモデムと、前記RFモデムに接続され、導電性材料のレイヤの間に挟まれた回路ボードのレイヤを含むRFスイッチアレイと、前記導電性材料のレイヤに存在する導波管を介して前記RFスイッチアレイの回路ボードに接続される複数のアンテナであり、該アンテナの第1のサブセットが第1の水平面において配置され、前記アンテナの第2のサブセットが前記第1の水平面の下に第2の水平面において配置され、前記アンテナの各サブセットの中の隣り合うアンテナが、互いから離れて間隔を空けられ、前記アンテナの一サブセットの中の2つの隣り合うアンテナ間の間隔は、前記アンテナの他のサブセットの中のアンテナによって満たされる、アンテナと、を含み、当該方法は、
前記RFモデムにおいて無線信号を生成するステップと、
前記の生成された無線信号を前記RFスイッチアレイに伝達するステップと、
前記生成された無線信号を送信するためのアンテナを選択するステップと、
前記生成された無線信号を前記の選択されたアンテナから送信するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 各アンテナは、ホーンであって、該ホーンの近位端において前記RFスイッチアレイに接続され、前記ホーンの遠位端において開いている、ホーンを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナの各サブセットは、180度より大きい前記RFスイッチアレイの周りの弧を定義する、請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナは、270度より小さい前記RFスイッチアレイの周りの弧を定義する、請求項6、7又は8に記載の方法。
- 前記アンテナのうち半数が前記第1の水平面において位置づけられ、前記アンテナのうち半数が前記第2の水平面において位置づけられる、請求項6乃至9のうちいずれか1項に記載の方法。
