Claims (6)
- 第1電極を備える第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向配置され、第2電極を備える第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と
を有し、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極の少なくとも一方は、第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部であって、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第1方向と直交する第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwである第1矩形状開口部と、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwより小さいSnである第2矩形状開口部が、前記第1方向に交互に配置された複数の開口部を備え、
前記複数の開口部は、前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部について見たとき、
対向部の開口幅が、一方が大きく他方が小さく、
前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部間の距離は、前記小さい方の開口幅以下である液晶表示素子。 - 第1電極を備える第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向配置され、第2電極を備える第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と
を有し、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極の少なくとも一方は、第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部であって、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第1方向と直交する第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwである第1矩形の、前記第1方向に沿う両辺に凹みをもたせた形状の第1開口部と、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwより小さいSnである第2矩形状の第2開口部が、前記第1方向に交互に配置された複数の開口部を備え、
前記複数の開口部は、前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部について見たとき、
対向部の開口幅が、一方が大きく他方が小さく、
前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部間の距離は、前記小さい方の開口幅以下である液晶表示素子。 - 第1電極を備える第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向配置され、第2電極を備える第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と
を有し、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極の少なくとも一方は、第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部であって、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第1方向と直交する第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwである第1矩形状の第1開口部、前記第1矩形の前記第1方向に沿う両辺に凹みをもたせた形状の第2開口部、及び、前記第1方向に沿う辺の長さがLa、前記第2方向に沿う辺の長さがSwより小さいSnである第2矩形状の第3開口部が、前記第1方向に、前記第1開口部、前記第3開口部、前記第2開口部、前記第3開口部の順に繰り返し配置された複数の開口部を備え、
前記複数の開口部は、前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部について見たとき、対向部の開口幅が、一方が大きく他方が小さく、
前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部間の距離は、前記小さい方の開口幅以下である液晶表示素子。 - 第1電極を備える第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向配置され、第2電極を備える第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と
を有し、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極の少なくとも一方は、第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部であって、L字型開口部と、該L字型開口部の形状と前記第1方向に関して対称な形状である逆L字型の形状を有する逆L字型開口部が、前記第1方向に交互に配置された複数の開口部を備え、
前記複数の開口部は、前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部について見たとき、
対向部の開口幅が、一方が大きく他方が小さく、
前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部間の距離は、前記小さい方の開口幅以下である液晶表示素子。 - 第1電極を備える第1基板と、
前記第1基板に対向配置され、第2電極を備える第2基板と、
前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置される液晶層と
を有し、
前記第1電極、前記第2電極の少なくとも一方は、第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部であって、前記第1方向に沿う辺と、前記第1方向と直交する第2方向に沿う、長さがSwである辺を備える第1矩形状開口部と、前記第1方向に沿う辺と、前記第2方向に沿う、長さがSwより小さいSnである辺を備える第2矩形状開口部が、前記第1方向に交互に、かつ、前記第1方向に関して非対称に配置された複数の開口部を備え、
前記複数の開口部は、前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部について見たとき、
対向部の開口幅が、一方が大きく他方が小さく、
前記第1方向に沿って隣接する2つの開口部間の距離は、前記小さい方の開口幅以下である液晶表示素子。 - 前記第1電極、前記第2電極の双方が、前記第1方向に長く、該第1方向に沿って隣接する複数の開口部を備え、
前記第1電極の前記第1方向に沿う複数の開口部と、前記第2電極の前記第1方向に沿う複数の開口部とが、前記第1方向と交差する方向に沿って交互に配置され、
前記第2電極の前記第1方向に沿う複数の開口部は、前記第1電極の前記第1方向に沿う複数の開口部に対して、前記第1方向にずれて配置されている請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の液晶表示素子。
