Description

ホットメルト感圧接着剤は、典型的には少なくとも1種の熱可塑性ベースポリマー、少なくとも1種の可塑剤及び少なくとも1種の粘着付与剤を含む。
チル−1,6−オクタジエン及び3,7−ジメチル−1,7−オクタジエンを含む分岐鎖非環式ジエン、(3)例えば、4−ビニルシクロヘキセン、1−アリル−4−イソプロピリデンシクロヘキサン、3−アリルシクロペンテン、4−アリルシクロヘキセン及び1−イソプロペニル−4−ブテニルシクロヘキセンを含む単環非環式ジエン;及び(4)例えば、ジシクロペンタジエン、並びに、例えば、5−メチレン−2−ノルボラエン、5−メチレン−6−メチル−2−ノルボルネン、5−メチレン−6,6−ジメチル−2−ノルボルネン、5−プロペニル−2−ノルボルネン、5−(3−シクロペンテニル)−2−ノルボルネン、5−エチリデン−2−ノルボルネン及び5−シクロヘキシリデン−2−ノルボルネンを含むシクロアルキリデン置換ノルボルネンを含む多環非環式縮合及び架橋環ジエンが挙げられる。有用な均質鎖状又は実質的鎖状エチレンポリマーは、例えば、1.5〜3.5又は1.8〜2.8さえ含む狭い分子量分布(Mw/Mn)を有する。

本発明によるパッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤は、大きさに関係なくいずれの「個々の形態」も含む、その用途に適したいずれの形態であってもよい。本発明の目的のために、「個々の形態」という用語は、顆粒、ブロック、ピロー、プリルの形態のパッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤を含む。本発明の別の目的のために、「個々の形態」という用語は、細長いロープ若しくはロッド又はホットメルトの任意の他の既知の形態を含む。細長いロープ又はロッドは任意の長さであってよく、例えば、リール若しくはスプールへ巻くことができる、又はボックス若しくは他の容器の内側に自由に置き、そこから適用することができる。ブロック、ピロー、細長いロープ又はロッド等の好ましい「個々の形態」は、例えば、最大約15cm又は最大約20cmのセンチメートルの範囲の最長寸法の大きさを有し得る。特定の実施形態では、パッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤が、粒子、プリル、チップ、フレーク、球、ビーズ、スラグ、例えば、ソーセージ形スラグ、又は、ペレット等のより小型の「個々の形態」の形態である。
本発明によるパッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤の個々の形態は、共押出コーティング(b)によって覆われたホットメルト感圧接着剤組成物(a)を含む。本発明の個々の形態、特にピロー又はロープは、実質的にタックフリー及び/又は自由流動性であり得る。

本発明の一態様では、本発明によるパッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤の複数の個々の形態が、パッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤が、溶融し、基材に塗布される前に自由流動性及び/又は空気運搬可能な形態で溶融システムに運搬される接着剤適用工程に使用され得る。
をこぼれ出させ、供給システムをべとべとにする危険性があるべきでないためにこれは重要である。
本発明によるパッケージ入りホットメルト接着剤を、典型的な不織衛生用品、サニタリー装置、介護用品、使い捨て医療用ドレープ、紙、テープ及びラベル、家具、織物、履物の製造、木材加工又は建築業、例えば、屋根用膜又は他の建築型積層に使用することができる。

- 前記コーティング(b)が0.90g/cm3〜0.93g/cm3の間の室温密度を有する、請求項1に記載のパッケージ入り接着剤。
- 20〜70の間の平均貫入数(PZ)を有する、請求項1に記載のパッケージ入り接着剤。
- ピロー、プリル及び共押出ロープからなる群から選択される形態である、請求項1に記載のパッケージ入り接着剤。
