Claims (2)
- 車両のエンジンで駆動されると共に界磁束発生用磁石を有する回転子及び発電出力発生用の固定子巻線が巻回された固定子を備える三相交流発電機から供給される交流電流を、直流電流に変換するためのスイッチング動作を行う複数のスイッチング素子を有するAC/DC変換器と、前記複数のスイッチング素子の前記スイッチング動作の動作タイミングを駆動制御信号で制御することにより二次電池を充電する充電制御部と、を備える二次電池の充電制御装置において、
前記充電制御部は、前記二次電池を充電する際に、前記三相交流発電機の前記回転子の回転位相を検出して、前記回転子の前記回転位相に同期した規準位相から遅角した遅角量を呈する前記駆動制御信号を前記複数のスイッチング素子に印加すると共に、前記遅角量には所定のリミット値が予め設定され、前記遅角量が前記所定のリミット値を越える場合には、前記遅角量を前記所定のリミット値に設定するものであり、
更に前記充電制御部は、前記遅角量のリミット値と前記回転子の回転数との関係が予め規定されたデータを参照して、前記三相交流発電機の前記回転子の前記回転数に対応する前記遅角量の前記所定のリミット値を算出することを特徴とする二次電池の充電制御装置。 - 前記データにおける前記遅角量の前記所定のリミット値は、前記遅角量と前記二次電池に流入する充電電流との所定の関係に基づいて、前記充電電流の所定のリミット値に対応して設定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池の充電制御装置。
