このため、光波距離計10では、測距光路延長部21におけるSIファイバ27の長さ寸法の上限を、反射パルス光Prにおける光量が低減することや波形が崩れることを防止しつつ受光素子23に受光させるべく、式(1)を満たすものとする。

Claims (4)
- 測定光を測定対象物に照射して前記測定対象物で反射された前記測定光を受光素子で受光し、前記測定対象物までの前記測定光の往復時間から前記測定対象物までの距離を測定する光波距離計であって、
前記測定対象物で反射された前記測定光を受けて集光する受光光学系と、
前記受光光学系で集光された前記測定光を前記受光素子へと伝搬する伝搬光路部と、を備え、
前記伝搬光路部は、マルチモードのグレーデッドインデックスファイバと、マルチモードのステップインデックスファイバと、の組み合わせで構成され、
前記伝搬光路部では、前記マルチモードのグレーデッドインデックスファイバが前記受光光学系からの入射端面を形成し、前記マルチモードのステップインデックスファイバが前記受光素子への出射端面を形成し、
前記マルチモードのステップインデックスファイバのモード分散量が前記マルチモードのグレーデッドインデックスファイバのモード分散量よりも大きいことを特徴とする光波距離計。 - 前記伝搬光路部では、前記マルチモードのステップインデックスファイバの長さ寸法の下限を約50mmとすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光波距離計。
- 前記伝搬光路部は、前記受光光学系で受けた前記測定光の前記受光素子への到達時間を遅延させるべく前記受光光学系から前記受光素子に至る光路長を延長させる測距光路延長部を形成することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の光波距離計。
- 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の光波距離計であって、
さらに、前記測定光を前記測定対象物に照射させることなく前記受光素子へと導く内部参照光路を備えることを特徴とする光波距離計。
