Description
本願は、2012年11月21日に出願された米国仮出願第61/728,886号(係属中)の優先権の利益を主張し、その開示は本明細書に引用することによりその全体が本明細書の一部をなす。
Claims (20)
- 粘性流体を正確に吐出するとともに吐出動作を制御する粘性流体吐出システムであって、前記粘性流体吐出システムは、
入口及び出口を有し、前記出口から基材上への前記粘性流体の流れを開始及び停止するように動作可能である、粘性流体ディスペンサーと、
前記粘性流体を保持するように構成されている粘性流体供給容器であって、前記粘性流体供給容器と前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの前記出口との間に前記粘性流体の流路を確立するように、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの前記入口と流体連通して結合されている、粘性流体供給容器と、
前記粘性流体を前記出口から吐出している場合、前記流路を流れる前記粘性流体の流量に比例する値を有する電気出力信号を生成するように、前記流路内に作動的に結合されている、電子式流量計と、
前記粘性流体ディスペンサーが前記粘性流体を前記出口から吐出している間、前記電気出力信号を連続的に受信及び処理するために前記電子式流量計に作動的に結合されており且つ応答性制御機能を閉ループで実行する制御部と、
を備える、粘性流体吐出システム。 - 前記電気出力信号は、出力データセットの形態であり、前記制御部には基準データセットが格納され、前記処理は、前記出力データセットを前記基準データセットと比較することを含む、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの前記出口を介して流れて吐出される前記粘性流体の前記流量における不一致を検出することを更に含み、前記応答性制御機能が、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの前記出口を介して流れて吐出される前記粘性流体の前記流量を変更するように調整を行うことを更に含む、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーを流れる前記粘性流体中の気泡を検出することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 応答性制御機能を実行することは、気泡が検出されたという表示を作業者に提供することを更に含む、請求項4に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの詰まり状態又は半詰まり状態を検出することを更に含む、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 応答性制御機能を実行することは、前記詰まり状態又は前記半詰まり状態が検出されたという表示を作業者に提供することを更に含む、請求項6に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記電子式流量計は、前記粘性流体ディスペンサー内に位置する、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記粘性流体供給容器と前記粘性流体ディスペンサーの前記入口との間に結合されている供給導管を更に備え、前記電子式流量計は前記供給導管に結合されている、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 前記制御部は、前記粘性流体ディスペンサーが前記粘性流体を前記基材上に吐出している間、前記電気出力信号を処理するとともに前記応答性制御機能を実行するように動作する、請求項1に記載の粘性流体吐出システム。
- 粘性流体を正確に吐出するように粘性流体吐出システムを制御する方法であって、前記方法は、
粘性流体供給部からディスペンサーに前記粘性流体を導入することと、
前記粘性流体を前記ディスペンサーの出口から放出することと、
前記粘性流体供給部と前記ディスペンサーの前記出口との間の流路内に作動的に結合されている電子式流量計を、前記流路を流れる前記粘性流体の流量に比例する値を有する電気出力信号を生成するように用いることと、
前記粘性流体を前記出口から吐出している間、前記電気出力信号を処理し且つ応答性制御機能を閉ループで実行することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記電気出力信号は、出力データセットの形態であり、前記粘性流体吐出システムの制御部には基準データセットが格納され、前記処理することは、前記出力データセットを前記基準データセットと比較することを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記ディスペンサーの前記出口を介して流れて吐出される前記粘性流体の前記流量における不一致を検出することを更に含み、前記応答性制御機能が、前記ディスペンサーの前記出口を介して流れて吐出される前記粘性流体の前記流量を変更するように調整を行うことを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記ディスペンサーを流れる前記粘性流体中の気泡を検出することを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 応答性制御機能を実行することは、気泡が検出されたという表示を作業者に提供することを更に含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理することは、前記ディスペンサーの詰まり状態又は半詰まり状態を検出することを更に含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 応答性制御機能を実行することは、前記詰まり状態又は前記半詰まり状態が検出されたという表示を作業者に提供することを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記電子式流量計は、前記ディスペンサー内に位置する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記粘性流体供給部と前記ディスペンサーの入口との間に結合されている供給導管を更に備え、前記電子式流量計は前記供給導管に結合されている、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電気出力信号を処理するとともに前記応答性制御機能を実行することは、前記ディスペンサーが前記粘性流体を吐出している間に行われる、請求項11に記載の方法。
