前記予燃室(41)は、前記予燃室(41)と前記燃焼室(21)との間の流体連通を提供するための複数個のオリフィス(44)を備え、
前記複数個のオリフィス(44)は、総オリフィス面積とエンジン口直径(A−A)との比が0.062mm〜0.072mmの範囲にあるような総オリフィス面積を有する、
内燃機関(1)。 - 前記オリフィス(44)の数が、4〜8の範囲にあり、前記オリフィス(44)の直径が、1mm〜1.55mmの範囲にある、
請求項1に記載の内燃機関(1)。 - 前記オリフィス(44)のそれぞれは、前記予燃室(41)に面する第1表面領域(441)と、前記燃焼室(21)に面する第2表面領域(442)とを有し、
前記第1表面領域(441)の大きさと前記第2表面領域(442)の大きさとの比は、0.5〜2の範囲にある、
請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関(1)。 - 前記予燃室(41)の内容積は、前記燃焼室(21)の最小容積の4%未満である、

請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関(1)。 - 前記燃料インジェクタ(43)は、前記燃料噴霧の中心線(D−D)が、前記予燃室の中心軸(B−B)に対して20°〜60°の範囲の角度となるように前記予燃室(41)内に配置される、
請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関(1)。 - 前記点火装置(4)は、前記燃料インジェクタ(43)が、単一サイクルの間に1より多くの燃料噴霧パルスが注入されるような方法で、燃料噴霧パルスを前記予燃室(41)内に注入し、前記イグナイタ部(42)の近く、および前記予燃室(41)の壁の近くに最適な空気燃料混合物を提供することを可能にする制御ユニットを備える、
請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関(1)。 - 前記点火装置(4)は、前記燃料インジェクタ(43)が、連続的な燃料噴霧パルス間において、少なくとも2個の火花がイグナイタ部(42)によって提供されるような方法で、燃料噴霧パルスを前記予燃室(41)内に注入することを可能にする制御ユニットを備える、
