Description
[mJ/cm2]でUV線量分布を示すシミュレーション結果が、数字的なシミュレーションコードを用いて得られた。装置100及び300の幾何学的な面積は、シミュレーションの基礎として用いられた。それぞれの装置について、商業的な平らなUV LEDアレイ及び、図2B及び4Aに示すLEDモジュール配置を有する窪んだ表面のUV LEDアレイの、二つのLEDアレイ構成がシミュレートされた。(商業的及び曲面の)それぞれのアレイにおけるUV LEDモジュールの数及び/又は水にかけられたUV電力の量は、それぞれのシミュレーションで同じだった。追加的に、[mJ/cm2]での平均線量、トラック(軌跡)の均一性の係数及びDSL値は、それぞれのシミュレーションで計算された。
Claims (11)
- 処理される液体を受ける入口及び処理された液体を排出する出口を含み、前記入口及び前記出口の間の複数の液体の流路を規定する水路と、
互いに背中合わせに配置される第1の曲面及び第2の曲面を有し、前記水路内に配置されるアレイホルダであって、前記曲面は前記水路の長軸及び前記液体の流れに対して垂直なアレイホルダと、を含み、
前記第1の曲面は、前記入口を有する前記水路の第1の部分を照らす第1のUV発光ダイオード(LED)モジュールアレイを含み、前記第2の曲面は、前記出口を有する前記水路の第2の部分を照らす第2のUV LEDモジュールアレイを含み、
それぞれの前記UV LEDモジュールアレイは、前記曲面のそれぞれの上に配置され、前記第1の曲面及び前記第2の曲面の中心に配置されたUV LEDアレイによって生成されたUV線量分布よりも狭いUV線量分布を生じるように構成されている複数のUV LEDモジュールを含む、紫外線(UV)液体処理装置。 - 前記曲面は、窪んだ面である請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記曲面は、円錐状である請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記アレイホルダの前記曲面の面積は、前記UV液体処理の効率を上げるように決定される請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記アレイホルダの前記曲面の曲率半径は、前記UV液体処理の効率を上げるように決定される請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記アレイホルダ上の前記UV LEDモジュールの位置は、コンピューターシミュレーションに基づいて決定される請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 処理される液体を受ける入口及び処理された液体を排出する出口を含み、前記入口及び前記出口の間の複数の液体の流路を規定する水路と、
互いに背中合わせに配置される第1の曲面及び第2の曲面を有し、前記水路内に配置されるアレイホルダであって、前記曲面は前記水路の長軸に対して垂直なアレイホルダと、を含み、
前記第1の曲面は、前記入口を有する前記水路の第1の部分を照らす第1のUV発光ダイオード(LED)モジュールアレイを含み、前記第2の曲面は、前記出口を有する前記水路の第2の部分を照らす第2のUV LEDモジュールアレイを含み、
少なくとも前記水路の一部は、UV光に対して透過性であり、前記UV光の少なくとも一部は、全反射を介して前記水路内に伝播する紫外線液体処理装置。 - 前記UV光線の少なくとも一部は、全反射の臨界角よりも大きな角度で、前記水路の内面にぶつかる請求項7に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記水路は、UV透過性の壁を有し、該UV透過性の壁の外側表面は、UV反射コーティングでコートされている請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
- 前記UV LEDモジュールアレイを駆動する電源と、
液体の流れによって駆動されるスイッチであって、前記液体が前記水路を流れるとき、前記スイッチは駆動されて前記電源を前記UV LEDモジュールアレイに接続するスイッチと、を有する請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。 - 前記水路は、前記水路内に配置された内側の管を含み、前記内側の管を介して前記水路の前記入口から、前記水路と前記内側の管との間の隙間に液体が流れる請求項1に記載の紫外線液体処理装置。
