Claims (14)
- 翼の吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉の下に、既存の隅肉の半径を有する領域を設置するステップと、
前記翼内に孔を形成するために、機械加工により前記領域を除去ステップと、
元の基礎材料と比べて改善された材料特性を有する改質材料を、前記孔内に挿入するステップと、
所定の位置に前記改質材料を固定するステップと、
前記隅肉の新しい輪郭を形成するために前記改質材料および前記翼を機械加工するステップであって、前記隅肉の新しい輪郭の形成は、前記翼の応力耐性を増大させるように、前記既存の隅肉の半径と比べて前記隅肉の半径を増大させることを含む、ステップと、
前記翼の少なくとも一部にわたってコーティングを塗布するステップと、
を含む、改質プロセス。 - 前記領域は、増大した応力領域である、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記改質材料は、栓である、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 除去された材料の形状と合う形状を有するように、前記栓を機械加工するステップをさらに含む、請求項3に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記設置するステップの前に、既存のコーティングを除去するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記改質材料を固定するステップが、ろう付けするステップ、溶接するステップ、摩擦溶接するステップ、レーザー蒸着するステップ、レーザー溶接するステップ、および、層ごとに前記改質材料を前記翼に蒸着するステップのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記領域の周囲からの不良材料を機械加工するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 成形管電解加工(STEM)装置で穿つことによってタービン部品に冷却孔を復元するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記成形管電解加工装置は、放電加工するステップ(EDM)をさらに含む、請求項8に記載の改質プロセス。
- 機械加工された複数の前記領域を形成するために、機械加工することにより複数の前記領域を除去するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 前記領域は、不良材料を含む、請求項1に記載の改質プロセス。
- 吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉を有する翼を備えるタービン部品と、
増大した応力を受ける元の基礎材料によって従前に占められている前記吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉の位置で、前記タービン部品内に固定されている改質材料と、
前記吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉の改質された輪郭と、
を有する、改質物品であって、
前記隅肉の新しい輪郭は、改質前の物品の既存の隅肉の半径と比べて、増大した吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉の半径を有し、
前記増大した吸引側前縁先端のシュラウド隅肉の半径が、前記改質前の物品と比べて、前記改質された物品の応力耐性を増大させ、
前記改質材料が、前記元の基礎材料と比べて改善された材料特性を有し、
改善された前記材料特性は、前記タービン部品の応力耐性を増大させる、
改質物品。 - 前記改質材料は、栓である、請求項12に記載の改質物品。
- 前記元の基礎材料が、不良材料を含む、請求項12に記載の改質物品。
