Description
図6は、従来の補助人工心臓ポンプ900の分解斜視図である。従来の補助人工心臓ポンプ900は、図6に示すように、インペラ912を有する回転部910と、回転部910を収納するハウジング920,922とを備える。従来の補助人工心臓ポンプ900によれば、補助人工心臓システムの主要要素として、心臓移植までの期間中、心臓疾患患者の心臓の働きを補助することが可能となる。
「補助人工心臓ポンプを接続した状態における液体の最大流量と最小流量との差」は、補助人工心臓ポンプのみを見たときの流量(いわゆるポンプ・フロー)で算出するのではなく、液体吐出源、補助人工心臓ポンプ等を含む全体で見たときの流量(いわゆるトータル・フロー)で算出するものである。
また、「補助人工心臓システム」とは、疾患により弱った心臓に取り付けて用いるための機器一式であり、主に血液の移動を補助するシステムのことをいう。
本発明の補助人工心臓ポンプは、実際の使用時において、人体に埋め込んで用いる(つまり、人体に埋め込んで用いるのに十分なほど小型の)埋め込み型の補助人工心臓ポンプからなることが好ましい。
図1は、実施形態に係る補助人工心臓ポンプ110を実際に使用するときの様子を説明するために示す図である。
図2は、実施形態に係る補助人工心臓ポンプ110を説明するために示す図である。図2(a)は補助人工心臓ポンプ110の上面図であり、図2(b)は補助人工心臓ポンプ110の断面図であり、図2(c)は図2(b)の符号Aで示す部分を拡大して示す図である。
図3は、実施形態における回転部10を説明するために示す図である。図3(a)は回転部10の斜視図であり、図3(b)は回転部10の上面図であり、図3(c)は回転部10の正面図である。
Claims (8)
- インペラを有する回転部と、前記回転部を収納するハウジングとを備え、人体に埋め込んで用いる補助人工心臓ポンプであって、
前記補助人工心臓ポンプは、回転部を一定回転数で回転させる遠心方式の補助人工心臓ポンプからなり、
前記補助人工心臓ポンプにおける血液導入部の最小内径を前記インペラの回転直径で割った数値が0.2〜0.8の範囲内にあり、
前記補助人工心臓ポンプにおける血液送出部の最小内径を前記インペラの回転直径で割った数値が0.2〜0.8の範囲内にあり、
前記回転部の体積を前記ハウジングの内容量で割った数値が0.01〜0.50の範囲内にあり、
流量を一定周期で増減させながら液体を吐出する液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続した状態における前記液体の最大流量と最小流量との差が、前記液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続しない状態における前記液体の最大流量と最小流量との差の40%以上であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1に記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
粘度及び密度が血液相当である液体を動作液体として揚程と流量との関係を測定し、一定回転数において、揚程をmmHg単位で縦軸にとり、流量をL/min単位で横軸にとってグラフを作成したとき、
締め切り揚程から20mmHg圧力が低い点において、流量が5L/min以上であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
粘度及び密度が血液相当である液体を動作液体として揚程と流量との関係を測定し、一定回転数において、揚程をmmHg単位で縦軸にとり、流量をL/min単位で横軸にとってグラフを作成したとき、
揚程が100mmHgであり、流量が5L/minである点における前記グラフの傾きが、−5〜0の範囲内にあることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
粘度及び密度が血液相当である液体を動作液体として、前記補助人工心臓ポンプが停止している状態で、流量を6L/minとして圧力損失を測定したとき、
前記圧力損失が20mmHg以下であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
前記補助人工心臓ポンプの動作時における前記インペラと前記ハウジングの内壁との最小間隔が0.1mm〜2.0mmの範囲内にあることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
前記液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続した状態における前記液体の最大流量と最小流量との差が、前記液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続しない状態における前記液体の最大流量と最小流量との差の80%以上であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項4に記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
前記圧力損失が5mmHg〜16mmHgの範囲内であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の補助人工心臓ポンプにおいて、
前記液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続した状態におけるポンプ流量の最大流量と最小流量との差が、前記液体吐出源に前記補助人工心臓ポンプを接続しない状態における前記液体の最大流量と最小流量との差の200%以上であることを特徴とする補助人工心臓ポンプ。
