Description
LTE端末は、通信が必要であるとき、連結モードに転換され、これは、RRC連結樹立(connection establishment)過程を通じて行われる。RRC連結樹立過程は、3つの形態のRRCメッセージを端末と基地局との間に交換する過程よりなる。最初の段階で、端末が基地局にRRC連結要請(connection request)メッセージを伝送する。前記メッセージは、端末識別子(UE ID)と樹立理由(establishment cause)値を含む。次の段階で、基地局は、端末にRRC連結設定(connection setup)メッセージを伝送する。前記メッセージは、端末が基地局に連結するために必要な無線資源設定情報を含む。前記RRC連結要請メッセージとRRC連結設定メッセージは、ランダムアクセス過程を通じて基地局または端末に伝達される。ランダムアクセス過程は、以後で詳しく記述する。三番目の段階で、端末は、基地局にRRC連結設定完了(connection setup complete)メッセージを伝送する。前記メッセージが成功的に交換されれば、端末は、基地局とデータを送受信する。
GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)受信機から獲得した端末位置情報は、比較的高い正確度を提供する。したがって、正確な端末位置情報が必要なMDT技術で、基地局がGNSS位置情報を要請する機能が現在連結モード端末に適用された。また、待機モードである端末にもこのような機能が追加されることができる。しかし、ログされたMDT(Logged MDT)を目的としてGNSS受信機を動作させれば、端末は、追加的に電力を消耗する。特に、ログされたMDTは、最大2時間行われるので、当該時間の間にポジショニング方法を持続的に行うことは、端末に大きな負担になる可能性がある。したがって、GNSS受信機の動作を最適化させることが要求される。ここでは、GNSS受信機の例を取ったが、その他正確な位置情報を提供する機能を行い、電力を消耗するポジショニングモジュールに対しても同一の方式が適用されることができる。
Claims (12)
- 端末のRRC(Radio Resource Control)失敗ログ方法において、
ランダムアクセスのための少なくとも一つのプリアンブルを送信する段階と、
所定区間以内にランダムアクセス応答を受信する段階と、
タイマーを駆動し、RRC連結を要請する第1のメッセージを送信する段階と、
前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、前記少なくとも一つのプリアンブルのうち、最後のプリアンブルを送信するとき、最大電力レベルが用いられたか否かを示す第1の情報を設定する段階と、
前記第1の情報を含む第2のメッセージを送信する段階とを含む
ことを特徴とする失敗ログ方法。 - 前記少なくとも一つのプリアンブルは、送信電力レベルを段階的に高め、送信される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の失敗ログ方法。 - 前記RRC連結の樹立が完了された後、前記端末の情報を要請する指示子を含む第3のメッセージを受信する段階をさらに含み、
前記第3のメッセージを受信した後、前記第2のメッセージを送信する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の失敗ログ方法。 - 前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、前記送信された少なくとも一つのプリアンブルの個数を示す第2の情報を設定する段階をさらに含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の失敗ログ方法。 - 前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、
セルの識別子を設定する段階、
前記セルのチャンネル測定情報を設定する段階、
少なくとも一つの隣接セルのチャンネル測定情報を設定する段階、または
位置情報を設定する段階のうち、少なくとも一つを実行する
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の失敗ログ方法。 - 前記第2のメッセージは、前記第2の情報、前記セルの識別子、前記セルのチャンネル測定情報、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのチャンネル測定情報、または前記位置情報のうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含む
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の失敗ログ方法。 - 端末において、
信号を送受信する送受信部と、
ランダムアクセスのための少なくとも一つのプリアンブルを送信し、
所定区間以内にランダムアクセス応答を受信し、
タイマーを駆動し、RRC連結を要請する第1のメッセージを送信し、
前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、前記少なくとも一つのプリアンブルのうち、最後のプリアンブルを送信するときに、最大電力レベルが用いられたか否かを示す第1の情報を設定し、
前記第1の情報を含む第2のメッセージを送信するように制御する制御部とを含む
ことを特徴とする端末。 - 前記少なくとも一つのプリアンブルは、送信電力レベルを段階的に高め、送信される
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
前記RRC連結の樹立が完了された後、前記端末の情報を要請する指示子を含む第3のメッセージを受信するように制御し、
前記第3のメッセージを受信した後、前記第2のメッセージを送信するように制御する
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、前記送信された少なくとも一つのプリアンブルの個数を指示する第2の情報を設定する
ことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の端末。 - 前記制御部は、
前記RRC連結の樹立が完了されず、前記タイマーの駆動が満了すれば、
セルの識別子の設定、前記セルのチャンネル測定情報の設定、少なくとも一つの隣接セルのチャンネル測定情報の設定、または位置情報の設定のうち、少なくとも一つを実行する
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の端末。 - 前記第2のメッセージは、前記第2の情報、前記セルの識別子、前記セルのチャンネル測定情報、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのチャンネル測定情報、または前記位置情報のうち、少なくとも一つをさらに含む
ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の端末。
