Description
薬物送達デバイスの第1の回転部材に向けられるように構成された第1の光センサと;
薬物送達デバイスの第2の回転部材に向けられるように構成された第2の光センサと;
第1および第2の光センサから信号を受け、受けた信号により薬物送達デバイスの動作モードを決定するように構成されたプロセッサと
を含む光学復号システムが提供される。
薬物送達デバイスの第1の回転部材に向けられた第1の光センサから信号を受けること;
薬物送達デバイスの第2の回転部材に向けられた第2の光センサから信号を受けること;
第1の回転部材が回転しているときに第2の回転部材が回転している場合、薬物送達デバイスが第1の動作モードにあると決定すること、または、第1の回転部材が回転しているときに第2の回転部材が回転していない場合、薬物送達デバイスが第2の動作モードにあると決定すること
を含む。
Claims (9)
- 光学復号システムであって:
薬物送達デバイスの第1の回転部材に向けられるように構成された第1の光センサと;
薬物送達デバイスの第2の回転部材に向けられるように構成された第2の光センサと;
第1の回転部材上にある符号化投与量値を表す信号を、第1の光センサから受け;
第2の回転部材が回転しているか否かを表す信号を、第2の光センサから受け;
受けた信号から、薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量ダイヤル設定モードにあるか、それとも薬物用量送達モードにあるかを決定するように
構成されたプロセッサと
を含み、
プロセッサはさらに、送達された薬物用量を第1の光センサから受けた信号を使用して決定するように、かつ送達された用量の記録をメモリに記憶させるように構成され、
第1の回転部材は、薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量ダイヤル設定モードおよび薬物用量送達モードにあるときに、第1の光センサに対して回転および並進運動するように配置され、
第2の回転部材は、薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量ダイヤル設定モードにあるときに第2の光センサに対して回転および並進運動するように、また薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量送達モードにあるときには並進運動だけするように配置される、
前記光学復号システム。 - 表示デバイスをさらに含み、プロセッサは、送達された薬剤用量を示すものを表示デバイスに表示させるように構成される、請求項1に記載の光学復号システム。
- 第1および/または第2の回転部材の一部分を照明するように構成された1つまたはそれ以上のLEDをさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載の光学復号システム。
- スイッチをさらに含み、該スイッチの状態の変化は、第1および第2の光センサを起動させるように構成される、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の光学復号システム。
- 薬物送達デバイスおよびスイッチは、薬物送達デバイスがゼロ単位薬物用量配置から単一単位薬物用量配置に動くときに、スイッチの状態が変化するように構成されて配置される、請求項4に記載の光学復号システム。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の光学復号システムを保持するハウジングを含む、薬物送達デバイス。
- 第1の回転部材および第2の回転部材を含む、請求項6に記載の薬物送達デバイス。
- 薬物送達デバイスに取り付けられるように構成された補助デバイスの一部である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の光学復号システム。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の光学復号システムを用いて薬物送達デバイスの動作モードを決定する方法であって:
第1の回転部材上にある符号化投与量値を表す信号を、薬物送達デバイスの第1の回転部材に向けられた第1の光センサから受けること;
第2の回転部材が回転しているか否かを表す信号を、薬物送達デバイスの第2の回転部材に向けられた第2の光センサから受けること;
第1の回転部材が回転しているときに第2の回転部材が回転している場合、薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量ダイヤル設定動作モードにあると決定すること、または、第1の回転部材が回転しているときに第2の回転部材が回転していない場合、薬物送達デバイスが薬物用量送達動作モードにあると決定すること
を含む前記方法。
