Description
図1(a)の模式図に示すように、本発明に係る胃内到達確認具10は、少なくとも、線状体11、胃液反応器12、および報知器13を備えている。線状体11は導電性を有し、その先端部(一端)に胃液反応器12が設けられ、その後端部(他端)に報知器13が設けられている。胃内到達確認具10の使用時には、胃液反応器12は、例えば経鼻で胃内に達している一方、報知器13は、体外に所在し、これらの間が線状体11により電気的に接続されている。
本発明に係る胃内到達確認具10は、各種医療用ワイヤに対して適用することができる。具体的な医療用ワイヤとしては、本実施の形態では、図2(a)および図2(b)に示す経鼻経腸栄養カテーテル30(以下、単にカテーテル30と称する。)のスタイレット20を例示する。なお、図2(b)は、図2(a)における点線で囲んだ先端部後側近傍の拡大図である。
本発明に係る胃内到達確認具10による胃内到達の確認作業の一例について、前記構成のカテーテル30を人体に導入する作業に基づいて具体的に説明する。

Claims (4)
- 胃液を電解液として起電力を得る胃液反応器と、
当該胃液反応器から得られた起電力により作動する報知器と、
前記胃液反応器からの起電力を前記報知器に伝達する伝達器と、
を備えており、
前記胃液反応器は、胃液を電解液としてボルタ電池を構成する一対の電極を備えており、
前記報知器は、前記胃液反応器が胃液と反応して生ずる、0.4〜1.1Vの範囲内の起電力の直流電流により作動するものであり、
さらに、外部電源に接続されないことを特徴とする、
胃内到達確認具。 - 前記伝達器が、導電性を有する線状体であり、
前記胃液反応器が、前記線状体の先端部に設けられ、
前記報知器が、前記線状体の後端部に設けられることを特徴とする、
請求項1に記載の胃内到達確認具。 - さらに、可撓性を有する管体を備え、
前記線状体は、前記管体内に挿入されていることを特徴とする、
請求項2に記載の胃内到達確認具。 - さらに、前記管体内に嵌装され、当該管体に剛性を付与する紐状体を備え、
