Description
(1)位置情報を得るための測定方向に延びる帯状のパターンが形成された平面状のスケールと、
このスケールと対向配置されスケールを走査して位置情報を得る検出ユニットとを有し、
前記検出ユニットはスケール面と接触して滑走、摺動するための複数の摺動部材を備え、
前記スケールの前記摺動部材が滑走、摺動する摺動面の少なくとも一部でありかつパターン形成領域を除いた領域であって少なくとも摺動部材の一部が接触する軌道上の領域に帯状の導電層が形成され、
前記複数の摺動部材は導電性を有するベアリングであり検出ユニットと電気的に接続され、
前記導電層が前記摺動部材と前記検出ユニットを介して基準電位に電気的に接続されているリニアエンコーダ。
(2)前記導電層はスケールのパターンと同一材料で形成されている上記(1)のリニアエンコーダ。

Claims (2)
- 位置情報を得るための測定方向に延びる帯状のパターンが形成された平面状のスケールと、
このスケールと対向配置されスケールを走査して位置情報を得る検出ユニットとを有し、
前記検出ユニットはスケール面と接触して滑走、摺動するための複数の摺動部材を備え、
前記スケールの前記摺動部材が滑走、摺動する摺動面の少なくとも一部でありかつパターン形成領域を除いた領域であって少なくとも摺動部材の一部が接触する軌道上の領域に帯状の導電層が形成され、
前記複数の摺動部材は導電性を有するベアリングであり検出ユニットと電気的に接続され、
前記導電層が前記摺動部材と前記検出ユニットを介して基準電位に電気的に接続されているリニアエンコーダ。 - 前記導電層はスケールのパターンと同一材料で形成されている請求項1のリニアエンコーダ。
