Claims (8)
- 所定温度に加熱され材料供給口から供給される溶融時に空気と接触すると反応する軽金属である成形材料を溶融して溶融材料を生成する溶融シリンダと、
前記溶融材料の溶融面上に不活性ガスを供給し不活性ガス層を形成する不活性ガス供給装置と、
前記不活性ガス層上に前記不活性ガスと異なる種類の気体である低比重ガスを供給し低比重ガス層を形成する低比重ガス供給装置と、を備え、
前記低比重ガス層は、前記不活性ガス層よりも比重が小さい、溶融装置。 - 前記不活性ガスはアルゴンである、請求項1に記載の溶融装置。
- 前記低比重ガスは前記不活性ガス層よりも比重が小さくなる温度まで加熱された空気である、請求項1または2に記載の溶融装置。
- 前記低比重ガス供給装置は、空気を加熱し前記低比重ガスを生成する加熱装置を含む、請求項3に記載の溶融装置。
- 前記加熱装置は、電気ヒータである、請求項4に記載の溶融装置。
- 前記加熱装置は、
空気を供給する供給口と、
前記溶融シリンダ内に設けられ前記供給口から送られた空気を加熱する管路と、
前記管路を通過し加熱された空気を前記溶融シリンダ内に排出する排出口と、を含む熱交換器である、請求項4に記載の溶融装置。 - 前記不活性ガス層の酸素濃度、窒素濃度または不活性ガス濃度の少なくともいずれか1つを測定する雰囲気測定計と、
前記溶融シリンダと前記雰囲気測定計との間に設けられ前記不活性ガスを冷却する冷却器と、をさらに備え、
前記不活性ガス供給装置は、前記雰囲気測定計の検出値が所定の範囲内を示すように不活性ガスの供給量を制御する、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の溶融装置。 - 前記材料供給口に設けられた開閉可能な材料供給口蓋をさらに備え、
前記材料供給口蓋は、前記成形材料を供給していないときは閉じられる、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の溶融装置。
