Description
Claims (23)
- 回転弁とともに使用するためのシールリングアセンブリであって、
前記回転弁内に固定されるリング状のシールであって、前記シールが、弁体の流動制御開孔との制御部材の密封係合を可能にし、前記シールが、圧縮力によって第1のシールクランプと第2のシールクランプとの間で圧縮される、シールと、
前記シールを通って延在する複数の締結具であって、前記締結具が、前記シール上に前記圧縮力を維持するように前記第1および第2のシールクランプに固定される、締結具と、を備え、
前記第1のシールクランプと前記第2のシールクランプとは別部材からなり、前記シールリングアセンブリは前記制御部材と前記弁体との間に位置するように構成されている、シールリングアセンブリ。 - 前記締結具は、ねじ式締結具である、請求項1に記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記締結具はピンから成り、前記ピンは溶接によって前記第1および第2のクランプに固定される、請求項1または2のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記アセンブリは、矩形の断面を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記アセンブリは、矩形スロットの裏面上に静的シールを生じさせるように前記矩形スロットに圧入される、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記アセンブリは、T字形の断面を有する、請求項1〜3及び5のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、前記回転弁の凹部の裏面に対して斜めに配向されるように前記凹部内に固定される、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、前記回転弁の凹部の裏面に対して垂直になるように前記凹部内に固定される、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記第1および第2のクランプは、逃げ切欠によって区分に切り分けられる、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- ばねワイヤが、前記第1または第2のクランプのうちの1つの周囲に伸長される、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記逃げ切欠は、前記第1および第2のクランプを部分的にのみ分割する、請求項9に記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールを支持するように前記シールと前記第1および第2のシールクランプとの間に位置付けられた金属シムをさらに備える、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、膨張黒鉛積層体を含む、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、前記膨張黒鉛の間で、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)、ポリオレフィン材料、ポリベンゾイミダゾール(PBI)繊維、または金属のうちの少なくとも1つで積層される、請求項13に記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは前記回転弁の凹部内に固定され、前記第2のクランプは、前記凹部の裏面に対して斜めに前記シールを配向する開口部を有する、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、前記流動制御開孔を囲む前記弁体に固着される、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 前記シールは、前記制御部材の表面に固着される、請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 回転弁とともに使用するためのシールリングアセンブリであって、
前記回転弁内に固定されるように構成されたリング状のシールであって、前記シールが、弁体の流動制御開孔との制御部材の密封係合を可能にする、シールと、
前記シールを前記回転弁内に固着するように前記シールの第1の側に隣接するシールマウントと、
前記第1の側の反対側の前記シールの第2の側に隣接する環状クランプと、
前記クランプと前記シールマウントとの間の前記シール上に圧縮力を維持するように、前記シールを通って延在し、かつ前記クランプおよび前記シールマウントに固定される、複数の締結具と、を備え、
前記シールリングアセンブリは前記制御部材と前記弁体との間に位置するように構成されている、シールリングアセンブリ。 - 前記シールは、膨張黒鉛積層体を含む、請求項18に記載のシールリングアセンブリ。
- 回転弁とともに使用するためのシールリングアセンブリを製造する方法であって、
第1のマシンブランクと第2のマシンブランクとの間でリング状のシールを圧縮することと、
圧縮された状態で前記シールを保持しながら、
前記シールならびに前記第1および第2のマシンブランクを通って穴を開けることと、
前記穴を通って前記第1および第2のマシンブランクに締結具を接続して、前記圧縮された状態で前記シールを維持することと、
前記第1および第2のマシンブランクを機械加工して、前記シールの少なくとも一部を露出し、前記回転弁に適合させるように前記シールリングアセンブリを成形することと、を含む、方法。 - 前記シールの前記露出された部分を機械加工することをさらに含む、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記第1および第2のマシンブランクを区分に切り分けることをさらに含む、請求項20または21のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記第1または第2のマシンブランクのいずれかの外径に溝を機械加工することと、
前記外径の周囲にばねワイヤを伸長して、前記溝内に位置させることと、をさらに含む、請求項20〜22のいずれかに記載の方法。
