- 複数の走査電極と、
前記複数の走査電極と交差する、前記走査電極と異なる面に形成された、平面視形状で五以上の角を有する複数の多角形の孔が互いに離間してマトリクス状に配列している複数の検出電極と、
隣接する前記検出電極同士の間に形成された、前記検出電極と同じ材料からなる、電気的に独立した複数のダミー電極と、
を備え、
前記複数のダミー電極のそれぞれの平面視形状が前記多角形の孔の形状であり、
前記検出電極が形成される表示領域の外側である非表示領域にシールド電極を更に備え、
前記シールド電極は、前記表示領域と前記非表示領域の境界に沿うように前記複数の多角形の孔が形成された第1領域と、前記第1領域の外側の領域で、前記複数の多角形の孔が形成されていない第2領域からなる、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極の前記複数の多角形の孔と前記複数のダミー電極とが、連続した一様な配列である、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記多角形が、前記角の数を増加させることにより、その平面視形状が円形として視認される、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極の形成される領域である検出電極形成領域において、
前記検出電極の面積に対する前記複数の多角形の孔の面積の比率が、三分の二以上かつ二分の三以下である、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
隣接する前記多角形の中心同士の距離が等しい、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極は、前記非表示領域に形成された端子に接続され、
前記複数の多角形の孔は、前記検出電極から前記端子にわたって連続的に形成されている、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルと、
前記走査電極を対向電極として電界を形成させる画素電極と、
前記電界により配向が制御される液晶と、
を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 複数の走査電極と、
前記複数の走査電極と交差する、前記走査電極と異なる面に形成された、平面視形状で五以上の角を有する複数の多角形の孔が互いに離間してマトリクス状に配列している複数の検出電極と、
隣接する前記検出電極同士の間に形成された、前記検出電極と同じ材料からなる、電気的に独立した複数のダミー電極と、
を備え、
前記複数のダミー電極のそれぞれの平面視形状が前記多角形の孔の形状で、
前記検出電極と前記ダミー電極との境界線を対称軸として、前記多角形の孔と前記ダミー電極とは線対称な形状であり、
前記検出電極が形成される表示領域の外側である非表示領域にシールド電極を更に備え、
前記シールド電極は、前記表示領域と前記非表示領域の境界に沿うように前記複数の多角形の孔が形成された第1領域と、前記第1領域の外側の領域で、前記複数の多角形の孔が形成されていない第2領域からなる、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極の前記複数の多角形の孔と前記複数のダミー電極とが、連続した一様な配列である、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8または請求項9に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記多角形が、前記角の数を増加させることにより、その平面視形状が円形として視認される、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8乃至10のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極の形成される領域である検出電極形成領域において、
前記検出電極の面積に対する前記複数の多角形の孔の面積の比率が、三分の二以上かつ二分の三以下である、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8乃至11のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
隣接する前記多角形の中心同士の距離が等しい、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8乃至12のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルであって、
前記検出電極は、前記非表示領域に形成された端子に接続され、
前記複数の多角形の孔は、前記検出電極から前記端子にわたって連続的に形成されている、
ことを特徴とするタッチパネル。 - 請求項8乃至13のいずれか一項に記載のタッチパネルと、
前記走査電極を対向電極として電界を形成させる画素電極と、
前記電界により配向が制御される液晶と、
を有することを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
