Description
本発明は、純マグネシウムまたはマグネシウム合金からなり、雄ねじを有するねじ本体と、該ねじ本体の外表面を被覆する陽極酸化皮膜とを備え、前記雄ねじが、前記ねじ本体のねじ込み時に進行方向前方を向く遊び側フランクと、進行方向後方を向く圧力側フランクとを有し、前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の生分解期間が、前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の生分解期間よりも短いインプラントを提供する。
本実施形態に係るインプラント1は、図1に示されるように、雄ねじ2を有するねじ本体3と、該ねじ本体3の外表面全体を被覆する陽極酸化皮膜4とを備えている。
ねじ本体3は、純マグネシウム(Mg)、または、Mgを主成分とするMg合金からなる。
本実施形態に係るインプラント1の製造方法は、図3に示されるように、ねじ本体3を陽極酸化処理することによってねじ本体3の外表面全体に陽極酸化皮膜4を形成する陽極酸化工程を含む。陽極酸化工程は、リン酸イオンを含む電解液E中に、ねじ本体3と、ステンレス材等からなる陰極5とを浸漬し、ねじ本体3を陽極としてねじ本体3と陰極5との間に電圧を印加することによって行われる。
本実施形態に係るインプラント1は、骨折部分を固定する骨折固定具であり、骨Bに形成された孔にねじ込まれる。骨Bに留置されたインプラント1は、該インプラント1の最も外側を被覆する陽極酸化皮膜4によって急激な腐食から保護され、徐々に生分解される。

Claims (5)
- 純マグネシウムまたはマグネシウム合金からなり、雄ねじを有するねじ本体と、
該ねじ本体の外表面を被覆する陽極酸化皮膜とを備え、
前記雄ねじが、前記ねじ本体のねじ込み時に進行方向前方を向く遊び側フランクと、進行方向後方を向く圧力側フランクとを有し、
前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の生分解期間が、前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の生分解期間よりも短いインプラント。 - 前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の平均孔径が、前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の平均孔径よりも大きい請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の平均孔径が、1μm以上100μm以下であり、
前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜の平均孔径が、0.1μm以上10μm以下である請求項2に記載のインプラント。 - 前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜のリン含有率が、前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜のリン含有率よりも高い請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載のインプラント。
- 前記圧力側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜のリン含有率が、10重量%以上30重量%以下であり、
前記遊び側フランク上の陽極酸化皮膜のリン含有率が、2重量%以上20重量%以下である請求項4に記載のインプラント。
