Description
Claims (5)
- 気筒(11)内を往復動するピストン(12)と、前記気筒内に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁(24)とを備える圧縮自着火式内燃機関(10)で使用される燃料の燃焼性を検出する装置であって、
前記燃料噴射弁により前記気筒内に噴射された燃料の燃焼による前記機関の状態の変化量を検出する変化量検出部(43、42)と、
前記ピストンの圧縮上死点以後において前記燃料噴射弁による燃料の噴射タイミングを変化させて燃料を噴射させ、各噴射タイミングについて前記変化量検出部により前記変化量を複数回検出させ、各噴射タイミングでの前記変化量のばらつきを算出するばらつき算出部(30)と、
前記噴射タイミングと、前記ばらつき算出部により算出された前記ばらつきとの関係に基づいて、前記燃料の着火し易さあるいは失火しにくさである前記燃料の燃焼性を検出する燃焼性検出部(30)と、
を備え、
前記燃焼性検出部は、前記ばらつき算出部により算出された前記ばらつきが最大となる噴射タイミング(t2、t12)を検出し、前記ばらつきが最大となる噴射タイミングが前記ピストンの圧縮上死点に近いほど前記燃料の燃焼性が低いと検出し、前記ばらつきが最大となる噴射タイミングが前記ピストンの圧縮上死点から遠いほど前記燃料の燃焼性が高いと検出することを特徴とする燃料の燃焼性検出装置。 - 前記ばらつき算出部は、各噴射タイミングでの前記変化量のばらつきとして、複数の前記変化量の標準偏差を算出する請求項1に記載の燃料の燃焼性検出装置。
- 前記変化量検出部(43)は、前記燃料噴射弁により前記気筒内に噴射された燃料の燃焼による前記機関の状態の変化量として、前記燃料の燃焼がなかった場合の前記機関の筒内圧に対する前記燃料の燃焼による前記筒内圧の上昇量を検出する請求項1又は2に記載の燃料の燃焼性検出装置。
- 前記変化量検出部(42)は、前記燃料噴射弁により前記気筒内に噴射された燃料の燃焼による前記機関の状態の変化量として、前記燃料の燃焼がなかった場合の前記機関の回転速度に対する前記燃料の燃焼による前記回転速度の上昇量を検出する請求項1又は2に記載の燃料の燃焼性検出装置。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の燃料の燃焼性検出装置と、
前記燃焼性検出部により検出された前記燃焼性に基づいて、前記燃料噴射弁により燃料を噴射させる状態を制御する制御部(30)と、
を備える燃料噴射制御装置。
