本開示は、外科用デバイスおよび/またはシステム、外科用アダプタ、ならびにそれらの使用方法に関する。より詳細には、本開示は、ハンドヘルド動力付き外科用デバイス、ならびに、動力付き回転運動および/もしくは関節運動外科用デバイスまたはハンドルアセンブリと、組織を締め付け、切断し、かつ/またはステープル留めするエンドエフェクタとの間で使用するための、および、これらを相互接続するための外科用アダプタおよび/またはアダプタアセンブリに関する。
1つのタイプの外科用デバイスは、直線的な締め付け、切断、およびステープル留めを行うデバイスである。そのようなデバイスは、癌組織または異常組織を胃腸管から切除する外科処置において使用され得る。従来の、線形の締め付け、切断、およびステープル留めを行う器具は、細長いシャフトおよび遠位部分を有するピストルグリップ型構造を含む。遠位部分は、一対の鋏型グリップ要素を含み、一対の鋏型グリップ要素は、閉じられた結腸の開放端を締め付ける。このデバイスにおいて、2つの鋏型グリップ要素のうちの一方(例えば、アンビル部分)は、全体的構造に対して移動または旋回し、他方のグリップ要素は、全体的構造に対して固定したままである。この鋏式デバイスの作動(アンビル部分の旋回)は、ハンドルにおいて維持されているグリップトリガによって制御される。

Claims (20)
- 機能を実行するように構成されている外科用エンドエフェクタと、該エンドエフェクタを作動させるように構成されている外科用デバイスとを選択的に相互接続するためのアダプタアセンブリであって、該エンドエフェクタは、少なくとも1つの軸方向に並進可能な駆動部材を含み、該外科用デバイスは、少なくとも1つの回転可能な駆動シャフトを含み、該アダプタアセンブリは、
該外科用デバイスとの接続のため、および、該外科用デバイスの該少なくとも1つの回転可能な駆動シャフトの各々と動作可能に連絡するように構成および適合されている筐体と、
該筐体によって支持されている近位端を有する内部筐体管であって、該内部筐体管は、内部空洞と、該空洞の中へ開口している少なくとも1つのアパーチャとを画定している、内部筐体管と、
該内部筐体管の遠位端に配置されている遠位の結合アセンブリであって、該遠位の結合アセンブリは、該エンドエフェクタと選択的に接続するように構成されている、遠位の結合アセンブリと、

を備えている、アダプタアセンブリ。 - 前記複数のシールは、前記遠位の結合アセンブリと前記少なくとも1つの駆動コンバータアセンブリの駆動管との間に挿置されている第1のシールを含む、請求項1に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記第1のシールは、双方向性シールである、請求項2に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記双方向性シールは、Xリングガスケットである、請求項3に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のシールは、前記遠位の結合アセンブリと前記内部筐体管との間に挿置されている第2のシールを含む、請求項2に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記第2のシールは、圧縮スリーブである、請求項5に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のシールは、アダプタアセンブリの近位ブッシング内に嵌め込まれている第3のシールを含む、請求項5に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記第3のシールは、OリングガスケットおよびXリングガスケットのうちの1つである、請求項7に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記複数のシールは、第4のシールを含み、該第4のシールは、前記アダプタアセンブリの近位ブッシングの内径内に嵌め込まれ、前記少なくとも1つの駆動コンバータアセンブリの第1の遠位の駆動シャフトの外径上に乗る、請求項7に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記第4のシールは、OリングガスケットおよびXリングガスケットのうちの1つである、請求項9に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記少なくとも1つのアパーチャは、前記アダプタアセンブリの使用および洗浄のうちの少なくとも1つの間に前記空洞に入る流体に対する出口を提供する、請求項1に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
- 前記内部筐体管に形成されている前記少なくとも1つのアパーチャは、複数のアパーチャを含み、該複数のアパーチャは、該内部筐体管の片側に沿って配置され、該内部筐体管の長さに沿って延びている、請求項11に記載のアダプタアセンブリ。
