Description
本発明は、ヒューズを備える蓄電モジュールにおいて、小型化した蓄電モジュールを提供することを目的とする。
また、蓄電素子の積層方向における公差を吸収することができる。
このような構成とすると、ヒューズ装着部が設けられている保持部材において、検知端子も保持することができるので、確実に小型化を図ることができる。
本発明の実施形態1を図1ないし図21によって説明する。図面においては、複数の同一部材のうち一の部材にのみ符号を付し、他の同一部材については符号を省略する場合がある。以下の説明において、図1における左側を前方とし右側を後方とする。
積層体20を構成する4つの蓄電ユニット21は、下から順に第1蓄電ユニット21A、第2蓄電ユニット21B、第2蓄電ユニット21B、第3蓄電ユニット21Cである。各蓄電ユニット21は長手方向の両端部にそれぞれ保持部材30が取り付けられた伝熱部材22と、伝熱部材22の上に載置されるとともに保持部材30により保持される蓄電素子12と、を備える。
伝熱部材22は熱伝導性材料からなる部材である。本実施形態では、熱伝導性材料として、熱伝導性に優れたアルミニウムまたはアルミニウム合金が用いられる。伝熱部材22の長手方向における一対の側縁には、図1に示すように、上方に起立する熱伝導壁23が4つずつ間隔をあけて形成されている。この熱伝導壁23は、積層体20をケース(図示せず)に収容したときにケース内壁面に接触するように配置されて、蓄電素子12から発生する熱をケースに伝導する機能を有する。蓄電素子12から発生した熱は熱伝導壁23を介してケースに伝わり、ケースの外に放熱されるようになっている。
蓄電素子12は、図3に示すように、上方から見て略長方形状をなしている。蓄電素子12は、略長方形状をなす一対のラミネートフィルムの側縁を溶着してなる容器13と、容器13の内部に収容された図示しない蓄電要素と、容器13の内部において蓄電要素に接続されると共に、容器13の側縁から外部に導出されるリード端子14と、を備える。容器13の一方の側縁から導出されるリード端子14の極性は、他方の側縁から導出されるリード端子14の極性と異なっている。
絶縁材料からなる保持部材30には、固定部材(図示せず)を挿通可能な2つの貫通孔31が貫通して設けられている。各保持部材30には、図4に示すように、リード端子14の幅広領域15の角部15Aが嵌り込む凹状の蓄電素子保持部32が形成されている。この蓄電素子保持部32により、リード端子14(蓄電素子12)は移動を規制される。
第1保持部材30Aと第2保持部材30Bとを取り付けた伝熱部材22と、第3保持部材30Cと第4保持部材30Dとを取り付けた伝熱部材22を2つと、第5保持部材30Eと第6保持部材30Fとを取り付けた伝熱部材22と、を用意する。
続いて、本実施形態の作用、効果について説明する。
本実施形態において、蓄電素子12を保持する保持部材30にはヒューズ装着部38が設けられているので、別途ヒューズ40を装着するための部材が不要である。その結果、本発明によれば小型化した蓄電モジュール10を提供することができる。
更に蓄電素子12の積層方向下側の保持部材30が上側の保持部材30の係止部33により係止されるため、各蓄電ユニット21A,21B,23Cの積層作業を効率良く行うことができる。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では、蓄電素子12の積層方向において隣り合う保持部材30は、蓄電素子12の積層方向に移動可能に係止されている構成を示したが、参考例として、積層方向において隣り合う保持部材は係止されていなくてもよい。
(2)上記実施形態では、蓄電素子12の電圧を検知する電圧検知バスバー43を保持する検知端子保持部37が設けられている保持部材30を示したが、保持部材には検知端子保持部が設けられていなくてもよい。
(3)上記実施形態では、検知端子として電圧検知バスバー43を示したが、これに限定されない。蓄電素子12の温度を検知する温度検知端子などであってもよい。

Claims (2)
- 側縁から突出するリード端子を有する蓄電素子を複数積層してなる蓄電素子群と、
前記リード端子が設けられた側縁に取り付けられ前記蓄電素子を保持する保持部材と、を備える蓄電モジュールであって、
前記保持部材には、前記リード端子と電気的に接続されるヒューズを装着するヒューズ装着部が設けられており、
前記蓄電素子の積層方向において隣り合う保持部材は、前記隣り合う保持部材の一方に形成された係止部と、他方に形成された係止受け部とが、隙間を有して係止することにより、前記蓄電素子の積層方向に移動可能に係止されている蓄電モジュール。 - 前記保持部材には、前記蓄電素子の状態を検知する検知端子を保持する検知端子保持部が設けられている請求項1に記載の蓄電モジュール。
