Description
Claims (7)
- 容器内又はチューブ内においてデッドレッグ空間を防止するバルブアセンブリであって、
前記バルブアセンブリは、
前記バルブアセンブリを容器又はチューブの可撓性壁又は半剛性壁に取り付けるための隔壁継手であって、前記隔壁継手が環状フランジを有し、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部が、前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の開口と連通するように、前記環状フランジが前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の一方の面に取り付けられる隔壁継手と、
前記隔壁継手の前記環状フランジに取り付けられる、又は前記環状フランジと一体に形成される中空ハウジングとを有し、
前記中空ハウジングは、
前記環状フランジの中心の開口部と連通し、かつ液体を前記容器又はチューブから流入させるように構成される液体流入口と、
液体流出口と、
ガス流通バルブに取り付けられるように構成されるガスポートであって、バルブが、ガスをガスポートに流入させること、およびガスをガスポートから流出させることを選択的に行うことができるように構成される、ガスポートと、
前記ガスポートに流体接続される膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンとを有し、
ガスが、前記ガスポートに、そして前記膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンに流入すると前記膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンが膨張して、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部、及び前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の開口を塞ぎ、前記ガスポートを真空引きすると、ガスが、前記ガスポートから、そして前記膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンから流出して、前記膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンが収縮し、液体が、前記容器又はチューブから流出し、前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の開口および前記中空ハウジングを通って、前記中空ハウジングの前記液体流出口から流出することができるように、前記膨張収縮ベローズ又はバルーンが構成されており、前記容器内又はチューブ内においてデッドレッグ空間を防止することができるバルブアセンブリ。 - 前記容器又はチューブは、1回使い切りバイオリアクターシステムを有する、請求項1記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 非循環又は非移動液体の容積は、約0.1立方センチメートル(0.1cm3)〜約1立方センチメートル(1cm3)である、請求項1記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 容器内又はチューブ内においてデッドレッグ空間を防止するバルブアセンブリであって、
前記バルブアセンブリは、
前記バルブアセンブリを前記容器又はチューブの可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の内部に取り付けるための隔壁継手を有する第1部品であって、前記隔壁継手が環状フランジを有し、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部が、前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の開口と連通するように、前記環状フランジが前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の内部に取り付けられる第1部品と、
前記隔壁継手の前記環状フランジに取り付けられる、又は前記環状フランジと一体に形成される中空ハウジングであって、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部と連通し、かつ前記容器又はチューブから液体が流入するように構成される液体流入口と、液体流出口とを有する中空ハウジングと、
前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁に取り付けられる第1端部を有する中空チューブを備える第2部品であって、前記中空チューブの前記第1端部が、前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁のガスポートと連通し、前記中空チューブの第2端部が、前記中空チューブと流体連通し、かつ前記環状フランジの中心の開口部を密閉するサイズに形成される膨張収縮中空部材を有し、前記膨張収縮中空部材が、前記環状フランジに取り付けられ前記膨張収縮中空部材を支持するヒンジ部分であって、前記膨張収縮中空部材を、下側位置と、前記下側位置から離間する上側位置との間で往復移動させるように構成されたヒンジ部分を有し、前記膨張収縮中空部材は、流体が前記中空ハウジングに流入することを阻止するために、前記下側位置において、前記容器又はチューブの流体の静水圧により圧縮されて前記環状フランジの中心の開口部を密閉するとともに、前記膨張収縮中空部材は、前記上側位置において、流体が前記環状フランジの中心の開口部を流れるようにするための開口が設けられるように構成される第2部品と、
前記第2部品に接続され、かつ前記容器又はチューブの外部に延在する手段であって、前記膨張収縮中空部材を前記上側位置と前記下側位置との間で選択的に移動させる手段と、
を備える、バルブアセンブリ。 - 前記膨張収縮中空部材を前記上側位置と前記下側位置との間で選択的に移動させる手段は、前記ガスポートを通って前記中空チューブおよび前記膨張収縮中空部材に流入するガス流を有し、前記膨張収縮中空部材は、前記膨張収縮中空部材を前記下側位置から前記上側位置に移動させるのに十分なガス圧により膨張する、請求項4記載のバルブアセンブリ。
- 容器内又はチューブ内においてデッドレッグ空間を防止するバルブアセンブリであって、
前記バルブアセンブリは、
前記バルブアセンブリを容器又はチューブの可撓性壁又は半剛性壁に取り付けるための隔壁継手であって、前記隔壁継手が環状フランジを有し、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部が、前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の開口と連通するように、前記環状フランジが前記容器又はチューブの前記可撓性壁又は半剛性壁の一方の面に取り付けられる隔壁継手と、
前記隔壁継手の前記環状フランジに取り付けられる、又は前記環状フランジと一体に形成される中空ハウジングであって、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部と連通し、かつ液体を前記容器又はチューブから流入させるように構成される液体流入口と、液体流出口とを備える中空ハウジングと、
前記中空ハウジングの内部に軸方向に配置され、第1位置と第2位置との間で往復移動するように支持される固体プランジャーであって、前記固体プランジャーは、前記第1位置において、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部を閉塞し、前記固体プランジャーは、前記環状フランジの上方に上昇することにより、前記容器又はチューブの内側の前記第2位置に移動し、この移動により、前記容器又はチューブからの液体が、前記環状フランジの中心の開口部の一部を通って流れることができるように構成される固体プランジャーと、
を有する、バルブアセンブリ。 - バイオ処理を行う加圧リアクターシステムであって、前記加圧リアクターシステムは、
圧力継手及び補強材のうちの少なくとも一方を含む可撓性壁又は半剛性壁を備える1回使い切り容器と、
