Description

− 面密度194g/m2が得られるように、Hexcel Corporation製の繊維IMA 12K及び446を用いて得られた一方向シート。
出願WO2010/046609の27〜30頁に記載されるプロセスを用いて、ポリアミド・ウェブ/炭素シート/ポリアミド・ウェブのスタックを形成し、熱接着する。
次いで、その材料を用いて積層体を16プライのスタック(すなわち、16の中間材料)として作製し、次いで、樹脂をRTMプロセスによって密閉型の中に射出する。目標とするVFRが60%の場合、パネルの大きさは、340×340×3mmである。選択されるスタックは、[0/90]4sである。
パネルから3〜4つの40mm×40mmのサンプルを切り出す。各サンプルの表面を砂で磨き、炭素繊維の面を露出させる。部品の作製に剥離プライを用いた場合、この研磨ステップは不要である。次いで、各サンプルの前面及び裏面を、スパッタリング、プラズマ処理又は真空蒸着によって、伝導性の金属、通常は金の層の堆積させることにより処理する。金又は任意の他の金属の堆積物は、サンプル領域から研磨又は研削によって除去しなければならない。この伝導性の金属の堆積物によって、サンプルと測定デバイスの間の接触抵抗が小さくなる。
抵抗率(オーム・m)=抵抗(オーム)×面積(m2)/厚さ(m)
伝導率(S/m)=1/抵抗率
を用いて、抵抗値を伝導率の値に変換する。得られた結果を以下の表1に示す。
Claims (19)
- 炭素繊維からなる少なくとも2つの強化層のスタックを形成し、その間に熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又は熱可塑性材料及び熱硬化性材料の混合物の非導電層が挟まれて形成される複合部品の製造方法であって、当該方法は、さらに硬化されていない樹脂と前記スタックとを組み合わせて樹脂が注入されたスタックを形成し、そして当該樹脂が注入されたスタックを硬化させて前記複合部品を形成するステップからなり、
前記方法は、前記複合部品の横方向の電気伝導率を改善するように、前記強化層に設けられた炭素繊維を用いて当該強化層の間に電気的接続を形成する穿孔工程を含み、
前記穿孔工程は、前記強化層および前記非導電層を針で横方向に貫通させた後、当該針を除去して穿孔を形成する工程からなり、
前記穿孔工程は、前記強化層のスタックが張力を受けている間に行われ、前記針によって形成された穿孔はスロット形状である、方法。 - 前記強化層の表面上の前記穿孔の密度は、40,000〜250,000穿孔/m2 である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔工程は、前記強化層の開口率が2〜5%となるように行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔工程は、前記熱可塑性材料の少なくとも部分的な溶融、又は前記熱硬化性材料の部分的な又は完全な重合を生じさせる加熱を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔工程は、60〜300S/mの横方向の電気伝導率を得るように行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔は、互いに平行に延びるライン上に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スタックが、炭素繊維に基づく強化層からなる中間材料から形成され、それらの面の少なくとも1つに熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又はこれら2つの混合物の層が付随している、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記スタックが、炭素繊維に基づく強化層からなる中間材料から形成され、各々の面上に熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又はこれらの2つの混合物の層が付随している、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又はこれら2つの混合物の2つの層が、炭素繊維に基づく2つの強化層の間に配置される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又はこれらの2つの混合物の単一の層が、炭素繊維に基づく2つの連続する強化層の間に配置される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記穿孔は、前記スタックが既に形成された後に当該スタックに対して行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記強化層が、炭素繊維の一方向シートからなる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 一方向炭素繊維の少なくとも2つのシートが、異なる方向に延びる、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又は熱可塑性材料及び熱硬化性材料の混合物の層が、不織布の熱可塑性繊維である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記不織布の層が、0.2〜20g/m2の範囲の面密度を有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記不織布の層が、3〜35ミクロンの厚さを有する、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性材料は、ポリアミド、コポリアミド、ポリアミド−ブロックエーテル又はエステル、ポリフタルアミド、ポリエステル、コポリエステル、熱可塑性ポリウレタン、ポリアセタール、C2−C8ポリオレフィン、ポリエーテルスルホン、ポリスルホン、ポリフェニレンスルホン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリ(フェニレンスルフィド)、ポリエーテルイミド、熱可塑性ポリイミド、液晶ポリマー、フェノキシ、スチレン−ブタジエン−メチルメタクリレート・コポリマーなどのブロック・コポリマー、メチルメタクリレート−アクリル酸ブチル−メチルメタクリレート、及びそれらの混合物のグループから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性材料、又は熱硬化性材料、又は両方の混合物の前記層が、前記スタックの総重量の1〜3%に相当する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記硬化されていない樹脂が、エポキシ、不飽和ポリエステル、ビニルエステル、フェノール樹脂、ポリイミド、ビスマレイミド、フェノール−ホルムアルデヒド樹脂、尿素−ホルムアルデヒド、1,3,5−トリアジン−2,4,6−トリアミン、ベンゾオキサジン、シアン酸エステル、及びそれらの混合物のグループから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
