Claims (19)
- 混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)であって、該スプールの複合材スプールシェル(46)の外径(OD)又は外表面(OS)上に1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を備え、
前記金属リングが、
前方及び後方ダブテールスロット金属リング(78,80)と、
前記前方ダブテールスロット金属リング(78)に取り付けられた軸方向後方に延びる環状歯(74)と、
前記後方ダブテールスロット金属リング(80)に取り付けられた軸方向前方に延びる環状歯(76)と、
を備える、
混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。 - 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)において特徴要素を更に含む、請求項1に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に収縮接合継手(50)を更に備える、請求項2に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層(49)を更に備える、請求項2に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に環状接着層(49)を含む収縮接合継手(50)を更に備える、請求項4に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記金属リング(44)においてダブテールスロット(54)を含む特徴要素を更に含む、請求項2に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層(49)を更に備える、請求項6に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に環状接着層(49)を含む収縮接合継手(50)を更に備える、請求項7に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記金属リングが、環状の半径方向に延びる歯(60)を有する少なくとも1つの単一のシール歯リング(58)を含む、請求項1に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層(49)を更に備える、請求項9に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に環状接着層(49)を含む収縮接合継手(50)を更に備える、請求項10に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記金属リングが、環状ベース(68)から離れて半径方向に延び且つ該環状ベースにより接続された少なくとも2つの環状の軸方向に離間して配置されたシール歯(64,66)を有する少なくとも1つの複数歯シール歯リング(62)を含む、請求項1に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層(49)を更に備える、請求項12に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と前記複合材スプールシェル(46)との間に環状接着層(49)を含む収縮接合継手(50)を更に備える、請求項13に記載の混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)。
- 混成金属及び複合材スプール(43)を製作する方法であって、
特徴要素を備えて1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を製作するステップと、
前記スプール(43)の複合材スプールシェル(46)を硬化させる前に、未硬化の前記シェル(46)の外表面(OS)及び/又は内表面(IS)上で所定位置に前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を位置決めするステップと、
前記外表面(OS)及び/又は内表面(IS)上で所定位置に位置付けられた前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)と共に前記シェル(46)を硬化するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記硬化ステップの前に、前記1又はそれ以上の金属リングと前記複合材スプールシェルとの間に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層(49)を施工することにより、前記1又はそれ以上の金属リングを前記未硬化の複合材スプールシェルに接合するステップを含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 混成金属及び複合材スプールを作製する方法であって、
特徴要素を備えて1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を製作するステップと、
硬化した複合材スプールシェル(46)の上に前記金属リング(44)を滑動させるのに少なくとも十分な温度まで前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を加熱するステップと、
前記スプール(43)の前記硬化した複合材スプールシェル(46)の外表面(OS)上で所定位置に加熱された前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を滑動させるステップと、
前記1又はそれ以上の金属リング(44)を前記硬化したシェル上で冷却及び収縮可能にするステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記1又はそれ以上の環状接着層の上に所定位置で前記加熱された前記1又はそれ以上の金属リングを滑動させる前に、前記硬化した複合材スプールシェル上に1又はそれ以上の環状接着層を施工するステップを更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記位置決めステップの後及び前記硬化ステップの前又は後で、前記1又はそれ以上の金属リングの界面を機械加工するステップを更に含む、請求項15に記載の方法。
