Description
前記メタン分離器においてステンレス管は、外径が0.75mm、内径が0.5mm、シリコンチューブは、内径が0.75mm(厚さ0.15mm)長さが20mmのものを使用した。前記シリコンチューブは、真空がかかっているT‐字形真空ハウジング内でステンレス管と連結されており、ステンレス管は、試料で満たされている容器と連結された形態を有している。また、分離された溶存ガスを測定するために、Agilent GC 7890を使用した。
メタン分離器を通過して分離されたガス1mlをAgilent GC 7890に注入し、溶存ガスの成分及び含量を分析した。炭化水素ガスの成分分析のために毛管カラム(plot fused silica column:長さ50m、内径0.32mm、フィルム厚さ0.5μm)を使用しており、検出器としてはFID(Flame Ionization Detector)を利用した。炭化水素ガスの分析の際に、GCの注入口の温度は230℃、検出器の温度は250℃に固定し、オーブンの温度は35℃で5分間維持させた後、20℃/minで195℃まで上昇させた。メタンの濃度を測定するために、標準ガスとしては、10ppm、100ppm、1000ppmの1%を使用した。
東海で二つの頂点(頂点1:北緯35.4368、東経129.5244、頂点2:北緯35.6099、東経129.5089)で水深別に海水を採集した。この際、採集器は、Niskin‐rosette採水器を利用しており、採集された海水は、下記実施例及び比較例に記載の保管方法により保管した。
先ず、20mlサイズの褐色瓶に塩化カドミウム(CdCl2)を1ml入れた後、ゴム栓とアルミニウムキャップでシールした。次に、真空ポンプを利用して瓶内の空気を完全に除去し、真空状態にした。次に、前記のように採集した海水を定量注射器を利用して瓶に3ml注入した後、分析するまで4℃で瓶を冷蔵保管した。
先ず、実施例1〜10で使用した同じ材質の125mlサイズの褐色瓶に塩化水銀(HgCl)を1ml入れた後、マグネチックバーを褐色瓶に注入した。次に、採取した海水を瓶にいっぱい入れた後、ゴム栓とアルミニウムでシールし、分析するまで4℃で瓶を冷蔵保管した。

Claims (5)
- a)塩化カドミウム溶液が注入された真空容器に試料を注入し、冷蔵保管するステップと、
b)容器を振動させた後、周囲温度と温度平衡させるステップと、
c)容器内の試料をメタン分離器に通過させて溶存メタンと残留物とを分離するステップと、
d)分離された溶存メタンを質量分析装置で分析するステップと、
e)溶存メタンを除去した試料から沈殿物質を濾過した後、硫黄同位体を分析するステップと、
を含む、海水内の物質を測定及び分析する方法。 - 前記a)ステップは、
a1)容器に塩化カドミウム溶液を注入し、シールするステップと、
a2)真空ポンプを利用して容器の内部を真空状態にするステップと、
a3)試料を容器に注入し、0〜10℃で冷蔵保管するステップと、を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記メタン分離器は、真空容器、質量分析装置及び残留物処理装置と連結された真空ハウジングと、
真空ハウジングの内部に位置し、前記試料が通過し、試料からメタンを分離するシリコンチューブと、
試料をシリコンチューブに供給するステンレス管と、
真空ハウジングの内部を真空状態に維持する真空ポンプと、を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記メタン分離器は、真空ハウジングの内部に試料を注入した後、ステンレス管の一端に取り付けられたシリコンチューブを試料に挿入してメタンを分離する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記塩化カドミウム溶液は、試料100重量部に対して1〜40重量部添加する、請求項1に記載の方法。
