Description
Claims (15)
- オープンループ(open-loop)方式で、第1量子化モジュールと第2量子化モジュールのうち一つを、予測エラーを根拠として、選択する選択部と、
入力信号をフレーム間予測なしで量子化する第1量子化モジュールと、
前記入力信号をフレーム間予測と共に量子化する第2量子化モジュールと、
を含み、
前記第1量子化モジュールと前記第2量子化モジュールは同じビット数の符号化レートに基づいて、前記入力信号の量子化をする
量子化装置。 - 前記第1量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器とフレーム内予測器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記第2量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器とフレーム間予測器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記第1量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器とフレーム内予測器を含み、前記第2量子化モジュールはブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器とフレーム間予測器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記トレリス構造量子化器は、加重関数に基づきインデックスを探索する請求項2ないし4のうちいずれか1項に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記予測エラーは、加重関数に基づく請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記予測エラーは、現在フレームのLSF係数、以前フレームのLSF係数、AR予測係数、及び信号特性と係わる加重関数のうち少なくとも一つに基づく請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記予測エラーは、加重関数に基づき、前記加重関数は帯域幅、符号化モード及び前記入力信号のスペクトル分析情報のうち少なくとも一つに基づいて決定される請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記入力信号の符号化モードは、ジェネリック(generic)符号化モードあるいは有声音符号化モードである請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記予測エラーを臨界値と比較し、比較結果によって前記第1量子化モジュールあるいは前記第2量子化モジュールを選択する請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記臨界値は、固定された値である請求項10に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記選択部は、前記入力信号が非静的である場合、前記第1量子化モジュールを選択する請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記第1量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器及びベクトル量子化器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記第2量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器、フレーム間予測器及びベクトル量子化器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
- 前記第1量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器及びベクトル量子化器を含み、前記第2量子化モジュールは、ブロック制限を有するトレリス構造量子化器、フレーム内予測器、フレーム間予測器及びベクトル量子化器を含む請求項1に記載の量子化装置。
