Description
電池モジュール100は、複数の単電池110を筐体120に収納して構成している。電池モジュール100は、例えば、自動車に配設し、その自動車に設けたモータに対して電力を供給する。
第2実施形態に係る例えば電池モジュール200は、補強部材222とケース221を凹凸形状の嵌合部分によって互いに嵌合させた構成が、前述した第1実施形態に係る電池モジュール100の構成と異なる。

Claims (9)
- 正極と負極とをセパレータを介して積層して形成した発電要素を、外装材によって封止してなる単電池と、
前記単電池を積層方向の両側から挟持する一対のケースと、板状に形成し一対のうち少なくとも片方の前記ケースに接合して前記ケースを補強する補強部材と、を備えた筐体と、を有し、
一対のうち少なくとも片方の前記ケースは、
前記単電池に向かって突出するように湾曲して形成し前記単電池を押圧する膨出部と、
前記膨出部の外周縁から積層方向と交差する方向に沿って延在して形成した第1延在部と、
前記第1延在部の外周縁から前記単電池に向かって屈折または屈曲しつつ延在して形成した傾斜部と、
前記傾斜部の外周縁から積層方向と交差する方向に沿って延在し、前記補強部材に接合した第2延在部と、を備えた電池モジュール。 - 前記補強部材は、積層方向に沿った厚みが、前記傾斜部の積層方向に沿った厚みよりも薄い請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記補強部材は、少なくとも一部が、前記第2延在部と積層方向に沿って隣接した請求項1または2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第2延在部は、積層方向に沿って貫通した一の貫通孔を備え、
前記補強部材は、積層方向に沿って貫通した他の貫通孔を備え、
円筒形状に形成し、一対の前記ケースの間または一対の補強部材の間に挿入して保持する保持部材と、
開口の一端を積層方向と交差する方向に突出させつつ積層方向に延在した円筒形状に形成し、開口の他端を前記一の貫通孔および前記他の貫通孔に挿通しつつ前記保持部材に係留し、前記一対のケースと前記補強部材とを固定する固定部材と、をさらに有する請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記補強部材は、前記第2延在部から離間するように積層方向と交差する方向に沿って延在した端部に、積層方向に沿って屈折または屈曲させて形成したフランジ部を備えた請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記補強部材は、前記第2延在部と対向する端部に、凹形状と凸形状を組み合わせて形成した一の嵌合部を備え、
前記第2延在部は、前記一の嵌合部と嵌合する凸形状と凹形状を組み合わせて形成した他の嵌合部を備えた請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記補強部材は、積層方向に沿った前記単電池に向かう方向に突起を備え、
前記第2延在部は、積層方向に沿って前記突起を嵌合させる嵌合孔または嵌合穴を備えた請求項3〜6のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記単電池は、前記正極または前記負極の端部に積層し、隣接する前記負極または前記正極との電気的な短絡を防止する絶縁部材を、さらに備え、
前記傾斜部は、積層方向に沿った厚みが、前記絶縁部材の厚みよりも長い請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記単電池は、積層方向に沿って複数備えた請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の電池モジュール。
